Beautiful! Enjoyed a lot.

The food at Cafe Delhi Heights was no match to the brand The Diplomat should offer. None of the dishes we ordered were even at par.
Milk shakes were thin as water.
Will not be returning myself and will discourage others until concrete steps are taken.

Nice hotel in the Diplomatic enclave area. You can have Good food for dinner. Many drop in just for dinner. If you are staying there and had a happy dinner don’t expect the same in the complimentary break fast. It will be like stepmom treat when compared to dinner. Good place for business trip.

We went for the first time for having dinner different than usual. The restaurant was elegant with good ambience. Attendants were not in shortage and served well. All the tables got full slowly. Food items were good. Service was not late and was courteous. The dresses of waiters were good looking. I have already posted many pages of Menu.

My stay was very short. The hotel is quite old and have limited facilities. The cost does not justify the facilities provided. Staff is good. Overall Below average.

I enjoyed my 3 nights here. Staff were friendly and I had no problems with food etc. I can see what people are saying about the rooms are a little drab and Wi-Fi is slow but for me things like that are beaten by friendly people and smiles as I walk through reception any day… I would stay here again.

I visited Hotel Diplomat for having dinner in the restaurant at the ground floor. Earlier I had visited this hotel about 15 years. To my surprise this hotel has not expanded over the period of years, but the ground floor and I believe the rooms of the hotel has been renovated. The ambience of the hotel is excellent. The quality of the food is excellent. The service is excellent. The hotel is about 50 years old and the management is not keen to add any floor to the present. It is very soothing to enjoy the dinner while sitting in the lawns of the hotel.

Good place, clean rooms. A little off the centre so not crowded. I love the restaurant.

Good choice for a nice and quite evening with friends. Bar has good options. Food menu is equally good.

Food is awesome. Drink serving is excellent. Behavior of bartender is good. Lounge is not spacious. High security zone.

Been loving the restaurant here since childhood. Amreli was amazing. And now cafe Delhi heights is serving fantastic food. Can't wait for further visits.

It's Located in one of The Finest Prestigious, Green Location of New Delhi. Albeit Not Very Big Hotel though… it has few good Restaurants etc.

Old charm in heart of Delhi. Rustic hotel needs to brush up to modern amenities and non bleached linen. Room are big. Breakfast gets you sic.

Clean, comfortable, quite luxurious (I was in the suite) but some more attention to detail is required (had to request for a bathmat).

The service was mediocre and the rooms were standard. The bathroom fittings were extremely old and need to be repaired/updated immediately. Apart from the fact that the hotel is situated centrally, there's nothing great about it.

Thought about spending a day out with my wife. Person at the reception was little curt, no warm feelings. Room 101 was very sad, there was dust and I had to call someone for cleaning. The TV wasn't working, there was no picture only sound. They took the payment at the check in else I would have moved out instantaneously. Didn't expect this quality at such a price. Very very disappointed. Yet to taste the food however, they don't have many choices so that's another drawback. Food was average yet very costly. The tea was 125 a cup and not worth Rs. 1.25/-. People at the hotel were behaving as if doing any favour. Not at all happy. Have been to many 3-4-5 stars but this one stood at the bottom.

Subtle yet beautiful decor. Went for a small wedding related event. Food was very well prepared. Could use improvement in the dessert section.

Cafe Delhi heights, located within the hotel is a good place to be. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting. And it's really peaceful. Staff is helpful. You can play Scrabble or monopoly as well while you sip your drink or wait for the dinner. Good is awesome as always!

Good location n ambience. Great staff n amazing food.

Had a party on 22/8 on pre fixed package. Kababs were stale and smelling. They stole 3 beers and agreed to replace and gave us three beers while leaving. They forgot to give dessert, when reminded they brought when 90% guest gone. We literally has to keep chasing for breads. Finally we were forced to pay service charges when we did not want to pay. Please dont go I went after a decade and it is not the same what it use to be.

It's okay… I think 3 star is enough for this.

Maintenance are averages need to maintain it according to his price, according to his maintenance & price (6k/N) is not the way to visit it again n again.

Located near to the Embassy and in the lovely green park area of New Delhi, the Diplomat Hotel is small (two stroreys only) but with a secluded outdoor eating patio which makes it feel more that you are a guest at someone's house than at a hotel. The staff, from reception to room and kitchen, were very accommodating and courteous, the meals tasty. What more could you ask?

Charges 6k for the pathetic room, needs lot of maintenance as it is old, the hotel is falling apart. Average quality breakfast. Hospitality is worst, I told the bell boy that "I don't have change, sorry", he is asking me how much I have and said he'll get the change and doesn't leave the room — — worst behaviour.

The worst hospitality experience I ever had! I am a frequent traveller around the world and this was from far the worst hotel I ever been. This is not a boutique hotel. Staff member are extremely unfriendly and not cooperative at all. The pictures looks better then the hotel as internal rooms are not maintained. Reception staff is really rude and unfriendly — they shouted at us because they didn't want to accept our PAN cards has ID proofs, even though they had credit card det…ails, home address, etc. And they charge me upfront. Wifi is very very slow. Breakfast is bad and they try to charge you for every single think — like green tea in my case. Restaurant food is bad and very expensive for what it is. Honestly you better just go around the corner at stay at the Hyatt for a little more money, the Hyatt are the masters of hospitality. I strongly suggest you to not go to this place if you are considering a relaxing comfortable experience in Delhi. This is not a good hotel.

A cosy place in the centre of Delhi. Went there for lunch with friends. Equally good indoor and outdoor seating options available. Food was good. Best part of the place is that you don't feel like you are in the middle of Delhi. It's like a throwback to a bygone time.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The area is quite and clean. But the facilities are okay and the service is ordinary.

Pathetic…! Rooms are smelly and food is horrible and over priced!. Please check about the hotels in this area with any local people before booking your stay. I booked for a single night stay recently and was highly disappointed.

Hotel Diplomat was a great experience. I stayed here for 5 days. The stuff are really nice and Helpful. Rooms/Bathrooms are really nice. Every day the stuff will makeup the room for you in afternoon time so every day you feel refreshing. Only reason I am giving 1 star less is because of Food quality. During the stay Everyday I had breakfast here and dinner 2-3 times. The rates are really High since it's 4 Star Hotel, But food quality is not up to the mark. Other then Food everything else was a great experience.

I am Diplomat Elder Wisdom and I must say here is the ideal place for a weekend get away with your spouse.

Worst experience. Same menu everyday in the break fast ie aloo parantha and upma. Mr abhishek at reception is helpless in anything we ask for. Every time hv to ask for the dental kit n other basic amenities. It is just its a calm place away from nich pich.

I must admit to the fact that I hate this place from the bottom of my heart. My experience was pathetic. Wish I knew where I was heading to. Please don't get me wrong. I felt it is no more than a guest house located in a very posh locality of New Delhi and I felt I was being ripped off. Can you believe it — there was no AC and I lived with Fresh air ONLY. Agreed that the weather was cool but it will not be the case with every guest. All the more when the charges are no less than any international chain hotels. Mahavir the receptionist promised me a fan which eventually never came to my room as there was none. Again a false promise. My personal opinion about the Sunday buffet lunch was that it was very mediocre or should I say much below standards — even though they had live stations. I would have checked out the first day itself had I not booked it through Expedia where you pay all the money ahead of time. My four days of stay was a living torture for me. The breakfast was not bad but could have been better had there been variety. The staff are polite and respectful but just the policy and the overall package was sad. Well I am sure many might like it but yes I am not going back.

Thia is not a luxury hotel and not a boutique hotel, it may be defined as a high level hostel at a good location.

Nice house converted to a hotel definately not a 4 star a big misconception location is the only advantage much better hotels in less than half the price no swimming pool, travel desk, concierge, spa, saloon, parking, lounge, etc. overly priced roadside hotel right opposite this place has food to die for. please do not go for this place.

The hotel truly is at a peaceful location, unimaginable that such a place exists in the middle of delhi. Away from all the chaos of the city, I dont think any other hotel has such a great location advantage. Talk of the food, room service or the tariff. Everything fantastic!. I think its a great place for any business traveller.
