Review of Hotel Emerald 3*

This is the worst Hotel I ever came across even in my life, I am not sure how even people in the below chain of reviews can even give such hotel an average rating it is so below than terrible. I had a plan to stay for minimum 2 nights with my wife in Chandigarh, I was advised this hotel by a traveling agency who had very pearly things to say about this hotel. I will try to point down my experience overall. I have also attached a few pics. 1. No Welcome, Damn no Welcome, Reception staff didn't even bother to look up. 2. Staff is really a college hanging, don't give a rat's smile teenager staff who will ignore you completely. 3. I booked a Club Room, Horrible smell when I entered. 4. They told me they are pure vegetarian hotel when I arrived at the hotel. 5. I didn't know you are not allowed to eat at the hotel restaurant, staff very rudely told me to get back to room & order from room. 6. I paid for bed & breakfast & they do not have breakfast buffet, in the morning when I went again to restaurant I was sent back to my room saying order from you room. I had options or paratha & aloo chana, disgusting. 7. No belly boy, you need to carry your own luggage to your room & to your car. 8. Bathroom doesn't have toiletries, if you ask they point out to dirty dispensers filled ages before with stains on them. 9. Mattress, bed rest, room, wall everything was dirty. 10. Room paint was out on the floor. 11. I asked reception staff if there is any place to roam around or do shopping he gave me blank face & told me there is nothing around, only that he dint give me a middle finger. 12. I was charged 3800 for one night stay with bed & breakfast for a couple & it was a horrible experience as if I was kidnapped & had to pay to be out of that place.
