Pros:cheap. Cheap. Cheap. Which is a nice thingcons: Not in good locality. Unprofessional staff. (I asked why Wi-Fi is not working, receptionist said he don’t know how to troubleshoot it. No sorry, please etc) Slow customer service. Took 25 minutes to get a coffee. Most paid TV channels were not working due to insufficient balance in their dth card. I doubt their bedsheets were not washed. Also they gave me bottle of tap water in kinley brand bottle. Overall suggestion:go for it if you are low on budget. It isn’t that badbut if you can spend well. Search another hotel.

Staff is quite good. They can know that your Requirements. All staff is very co-operative.

A good hotel. But not that much good as one can think of. The reception is pretty much nice. Rooms are also good and the servant are also good. But the location of the hotel is not that good.

It is an ok ok place with suspicious activities most probably (hence I didn't choose to stay here). If you're not on a cash crunch, prefer a better place to stay.

Well hotels are know for their locality and this hotel is surely standing upto this point. In the middle of some Motor Workshops market. Felt very awkward when tried to reach hold. Strictly not foe families. Book through OYO.

Oh-em-gee. If you are a westerner and you don't know much about india but wanted to book this hotel, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, unless you want to experience Indian slums or get dengue fever or just enjoy staying at a dirt slum in a noisy and smelly indian market. I booked this hotel for my medical trip to Chandigarh and as soon as I arrived at the hotel, I realized I made a grave mistake. Even my indian physician told me not to go near the district and when I did, oh boy was I in for a surprise. After inspecting the rooms, I immediately asked for a cancellation and a refund, but the hotel gladly cancelled my reservation but would not refund the full amount I paid for my 4 day stay. I ended up simply wasting the 4 days of hotel fees but hey that's better than getting some random indian virus and being hospitalized, right? I REPEAT, STAY THE F AWAY!

Very bad experience. Dont book this hotel… booking this hotel means u r booking really horible nd bad memory. Nothing is good in this hotel.

Decoration. Is amazr but food is nt. Washtooms are really not good… Too messy.

Once you've got used to this place it's like your home Room no. 107 is our room everytime we visit Chandigarh. There's a boy named Akash very humble and obedient who's ready to help you.

Honestly, if you are looking for a cheap A C accommodation this one would be your best choice (with in 1500 rupees), but if you are expecting something more than that this would never be your best choice For cleanliness I would give 4.0 out of 5 because I did not felt the area as so tidy For the quietness its 6 out of 5 (that the one thing I like about this place) Food, hmmm, I would not recommend any one to have even a cup of tea because it's terrible, so for that 2.5 /5

I've put one star because there is no zero or negative rating. This is the worst place I've ever stayed at. As soon as we entered our room it smelled so bad that the rats of the dirtiest drains would not have survived. We had booked the room 20 days in advance. Still it was unprepared. AC is making horrible noise. When we asked the attended to fix it, he laughed shamelessly and said that this will make this sound. Overall we had to argue with the hotel staff for 3 hours over various issues. Blanket was dirty/ no drinking water in rooms, etc. The worst ever place. Goibibo and all other online booking services should detach themselves from surya palace if they want to maintain some standards.

Wer r the 2 stars. Spent 1000rs. Hotel located in slum area. Very pathetic hotel. Rooms were full of dirty smell. Floor was sticky due to dirt. Ac was not working. Changed 4 rooms in single night. But story was same. My experience was horrible. Staff was rude. So plz dont waste ur money.

Good budget hotel with newly renovated. A totally changed hotel after renovation and also at a very reasonable price just under rs 1500. My stay was fabulous as stayed in sept 2014.
