➜ I expected more for the price. The reception was newly renovated and cosy, but the rooms were very old and in need of renovation. It smelled slightly of mold in the room although it was otherwise very clean. Unfortunately, even breakfast was not at the level of a hotel.

➜ The view alone deserves 5 stars. The style of the room is certainly discussed. For me, it was important that it was clean and quiet — both hit. In addition, it was also spacious. The bathroom is a shower with toilet and sink in the 0815 charm of the early 90s. Nothing special but does its purpose.
The breakfast was also fine, with me wondering a bit about the O juice, which was seemingly stretched with water. The rest was standard Icelandic breakfast.
Overall, you can recommend a stay here without hesitation.

Stayed here for one night and had a restful night. Was quite confused during breakfast that there were no cups for the tea, only to find out that they were already placed on the individual tables. Between the curtains and the window sill there was some space left, so it wasn't as dark as I would have liked (stayed here beginning of June). Otherwise it was very quiet and the staff really nice. Highly recommend to go to Pakkhús for dinner which is a two minute stroll from the hotel!
