This place served our needs — it was close (about half an hour) to skaftafell ebterance of vatnajokull national park. There is a large kitchen but it can get very busy quickly and the rooms themselves are small, simple spaces that you should expect from a hostel. For a group of three people it was relatively affordable for Iceland.

Perfect place for a night stay when traveling around the south of Iceland. It might be hard to find as it is off road, but once you get there it's very calm and nice.

The rooms are clean and there is a large dinning area with a number of kitchens available and the Wi-Fi worked well downstairs and even upstairs in the room. It was pretty easy to find with signs off the road. The owner was very friendly. Would def recommend for travelers.
