A very clean bright and beautiul place in walking distance to every thing in Reykjavik! And the owner is super nice and knows everything about Reykjavik. I very highly recommend this place!

Make sure to look at your personal email from Centro and not your initial booking info. Overall it was good, for a private room and shared bathroom. Room was quiet from the others staying there, but window in my room did not want to shut completely. I’d recommend it!

Excellent location. Close to affordable parking. Friendly host. Bathroom and room had poor ventilation. Noise from the restaurant in the basement late at night (bottles thrown in the bins and noise from guests and kitchen fan).

Stay here. For sure stay here. If you want to feel like you’re in a cozy Icelandic home, stay here. This place is not for someone looking for a fancy hotel. This spot is where you stay to get a feel for how the Icelanders live. The owners are absolutely wonderful. If you catch him in the lobby in the morning, he might even tell you tales of the buildings history… which is amazing. Customer service top notch. Location top notch.

I can’t recommend this place enough. Comfortable, great ownership & staff, and perfect location. I usually have trouble sleeping when traveling but felt comfortable and relaxed while here. You’ll be in the heart of the busy area of Reykjavik. Walk out your front door for great food, beer, or the coffee & bakery shop next door (Kornid). Best value for my money on the trip (because Iceland is beautiful but also expensive…). I’ll book again when I’m back in January. Note: Owner and staff went out of their way to accommodate an early check in for me. I had been traveling for 72 hours and they allowed an early check in to rest up and shower.

This room was huge! The bathroom was almost as large as the room itself. The room was really clean and the Wi-Fi was great. Staff was very friendly and offered some great tips. The bed wasn't very comfortable. You could feel the springs in the mattress.

Perfectly located with a very accommodating host ready to give you tips and recommendations. Use his knowledge! Everywhere he sent me was excellent.

Rustic, cosy and very welcoming. Hosts were very friendly and great at letting us know the best places to go. Location was perfect for all the best museums pubs and sights. Bus stop 3 right outside the door for any pick ups for trips. Looking forward to coming back with family and highly recommended. Thanks for a great stay.

Not a fancy hotel but a warm room and a bathroom because when you're in the very middle of the city where all the fun is you won't be spending much time here at all. Almost everything within a 15 minute walk. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive and even as you are saying goodbye (bless). Good recommendations for excellent food. The rest … Just walk out the front door.

This guest house is so centrally located everything is only a walk away. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable! I genuinely felt like I was staying in a family home. Even being invited out to a party by Örvar one of the wonderful managers alongside Margét. I will definately be back! Takk fyrir Gleðilegt nýtt ár Paul.

Stayed here at the beginning and end of a trip. Perfect location to get to museums, food and bars. The coffee shop/bakery next door has good pastries as well. The host is super accommodating and our room even had its own bathroom. Rooms are simple, but well heated and the plumbing looked new and the cold water out of the tap was quality. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful location and the hospitality was perfect. The hosts stop by once a day. If you need anything, blowdryer or fresh towels, you just need to contact the hosts.

Excellent location, very friendly staff and good Wi-Fi. The single room with shared bathroom was clean but spartanly furnished and the bathrooms are quite tiny. A great place if you are looking for something affordable in the centre of Reykjavik.

A small yellow door thats hardly noticeable but you will love it the moment you walk in … oh yes, without any staff. When you walk in, you will find a copy of your reservation together with your room key on the counter top and that's it. Nothing special about this place but you will be surprised how organise they are. Clean and crisp rooms with big windows and comfy beds.

Love it! Beautiful renovated house in the best location. Best place in Reykjavik owned by really really nice and friendly family. Btw, thanks for the recommendation of that restaurant: it was delicious!

The owners are very nice, and provided plenty of great suggestions for things to do and places to eat around Iceland. They were also very helpful at providing other things above and beyond expectations at a guesthouse. Will definitely consider staying here next time we're in Iceland. The rooms have nice bedding, and have a sink and kettle inside.
