Beautiful location at the lake.

Great location, bungalows a bit small for the price payed. Nice spot to see the northern lights too!

A little bit pricy but very clean, nice and comfy. There is a common kitchen, nice view of the lake and crater. Dogs are specially cute and friedly.

I wish I could go and stay in this place for one more time, nice and clean cottage, great breakfast and nice lakeview, and the lovely dog. Close to the hot spring, and with 5 min drive, there is a nice restaurant for dinner.

Best breakfast we had in Iceland with homemade bread, hot spring bread, home smoked lamb cartucherie, waffles, etc. Family is very friendly and great rocks for the kids to climb.

Had a cabin there. It has drawn and the bedroom could not be darkened completely. Price/performance has not gestummen for us. The Breakfast was fine.

June 12th 2018 huge lava field near the Lake of Myvatn. This site is worth the detour to two conditions: the first is to disregard the souvenir shops and the point of restoration as useless one as the other… Various very well maintained trails can be borrowed to make big ballads. Take the longest track and after 15 minutes stay vigilant as it continues very far but off paved track, the signposting is very well realized. Also take the time to examine the local flora which is a great surprise! As a guideline all the times indicated for ballads are greatly increased, so be quiet!. The terrain is very accessible including on the track walking off paved trail. A detailed plan of all the slopes is at the beginning of the ballads. Huge car parking that seems difficult to saturate, except perhaps at the highest of the season…
Really this site is worth a visit and unlike the surroundings of the Lake, here there are no flies or mosquitoes…

Great value for money at this fantastically located place. Myvatn baths, Hverfjall crater and Dimmuborgir lava fields are less than 15 minutes away. The room was clean and well heated, the view over the myvatn lake was superb. We stayed at the budget option with private bathroom and shared kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped and big enough for many people. The only con I can find is that the toilet sink was the smallest I have ever seen. It’s virtually impossible to wash yourself without getting all the floor wet. The.

Amazing Breakfast! The House is very comfortable, and with all the necessities. A little expensive, but worth it, if you get to see auroras… No comment. Good place to see them.

Dimmuborgir Guest house. We were not able to stay here because of bad weather. The management are very understanding because they returned 100% of our payment. Very thankful.

Although the house is not small, but feel comfortable, the kitchen does not have a stove or microwave oven, the evening can see the stars to see the moonlight, cleanliness ok, Wi-Fi sometimes without, the bed is too soft I do not like, the landlord has 2 dogs will come to greet me, the overall good.

Good and saubete accommodation. The bathroom does not have its own heating and is a little cold in winter.
Due to the construction of the house with four double rooms The whole thing is a bit noisy.

Beautiful place, close to the lake. The apartment were new. We stayed just one night, but I raccomend to stop there for more nights and enjoy the whole area, it's beautiful! Fully positive feedback!

Without doubt the best accommodation that we visited in our ten days in Iceland. The breakfast was also the best. And the two dogs of the owners who are on the loose out there are a charm.

The cottage is OK and the lake view is nice. But the space is not enough, too expensive for it.
