Heimaey Hotels

A fantastic 2-night stay for my wife and I. Very clean rooms with a satisfying shower. Fantastic views of the weather is good too.

Excellent hotel on Heimaey Island. My family (kids 14 and 11) did a week long vacation in Iceland and spent one night at the Hotel Vestmannaeyjar.

Very comfortable bed. Located very close to everything. Drove the island but walked to shops and dinner.

This hotel was perfect for us — we wanted to stay the day and overnight in the Westman Islands for my birthday during our Iceland vacation.

Value for money. Worth every Krona spent. The place looks newly built/renovated. It has fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom and laundry facilities with free detergent.

Very clean rooms. The kitchen was fully equipped although we did not use it. Many hangers around the room, very useful feature for travellers which is often overlooked.

Perfect place for camping — lovely and helpful staff, big and well equipped kitchen with dining area, clean bathrooms with warm water. And amazing surroundings ❤️

The interior is newly renovated and very clean. It is warm and welcoming inside. Good shower and bathroom and very nice bed. Also liked the sitting area and the nespresso machine.

We got the wrong, much smaller room even though we booked the suite. The cleaning lady who showed us in did not speak one word of English. For the second night we were able to change the room.

Way to cool experience to have the lowest price on the island. Note that the number of showers might mean some queening if the place is fully booked, it was not a problem during my stay.

Place was very clean!
Mother and daughter working there were very nice and welcoming (not very good English).
Location is great, 2 min walk from the ferry. Supermarket is around the corner.
