Despite the professionalism of the staff, a hotel that comes from the soviet era, does not comply with the european standards of quality and not much less than four stars. The food is acceptable, but the facilities and especially the cleanliness of the rooms leaves much to be desired.

Good enough location. A bit 'tired'; shabby in places, but generally ok. A bit of a smell, and sometimes children hanging out in the corridors till wee hours (2 am) chatting, loughing. First hotel we stayed in which there was no shampoo in bathroom. I would definitely not have thought it was a 4 stars hotel. Own Parking (paid) on owners' risk, but barrier not working (not better than parking on street)

I think this hotel is not deserve four stars in comparison with Turkish hotels. Room and bathroom are very small. Transport options are suitable and near to tram station. You can go everywhere tram and metro in Budapest. Breakfast is good.

This was an okey stay, but the rooms feel a bit old. We also asked for a smoke free room, and perhaps it was now, but you could still feel the smoke in the room. Other than that the receptionists were great, and the restaurant they had served up really interesting food. They sometimes invite guest chefs to come and change the menu for periods. That's a nice touch!

This is a good budget hotel with nice facilities like swimming pool, sauna and massage. The locality is pretty quite with a big garden and a small lake in front of it. The breakfast spread is excellent with a nice variety. The rooms are not up to the standards of 4 star hotel. It is a basic room (stayed in standard double room) which seemed old. The bathroom had a bathtub with 4-5 paint stains. Rooms need overhauling. The connectivity to the city center is very good with tram and metro station in walking distance. Overall a good experience.

It's a perfectly normal hotel. Not refined or original, but pure; everything works, there is a mini-bar, a laundry service, breakfast delivery to the room. In the lobby sofas, bar, gift shop. Pretty cozy rooms.
Breakfast is great, enough food choice: omelet, sausages, bread, fruit, musli, honey, yoghurt, milk, coffee/tea/juice, and this is not a complete list

The hotel is big. Really old-fashioned, but there were no problems with cleanliness. The only thing in the bathroom actually was no bath accessories. The liquid in the dispenser was to serve as soap, shower gel, and shampoo. But she didn't wash anything. The view from the window is good on only one side. There's some garages and industrial zone in the back. The rest is OK.

It is beyond what I expected the room would be for a 4 stars hotel. Would definitely not recommend this to anyone. The people there at the reception are nice but this is the only reason I gave it a 3 stars. The breakfast is not good as in a 4 stars hotel, the room is not that clean… I found many black hair on the bed and in the bathroom… Probably from the cleaning personnel, the room is old and needs some repairing done. The wellness and spa… not really what you expect from a wellness and spa center. All in all it was good that we actually did not so ed to much time inside the hotel, but would not choose it again. Sorry to say that.

I just arrived from France at noon 15 and the rooms were not ready I was told to wait 14 hours (either) having values with me and not wanting to walk in Budapest that I do not know I ask to deposit my money passport and other : In the trunk of the hotel e t the the pseudo receptionist has bezel tell me that the rooms have chests and that you have to wait like a con 2 hours in the living room fortunately a lady from the reception speaking French take things in hand and allows me to access the c Hotel offers to deposit my effects | Thank you Madam and Bravo for your professionalism and your welcome! In fact, not a bad hotel, yes, with Soviet furniture, but, in any case, it does not spoil the impression of a trip to this wonderful city. The only thing worth paying attention to is the cleaning-dust in the closet on the high shelves, drain in the bathroom poorly worked, the remote from the TV did not work, sockets not all functioned. It is bad that there is no slippers and bathrobe. The breakfast is really very good. The staff is friendly. In general, a good place to spend a couple of days.

Great staff, nice hotel, but in late April they wouldn't turn on the central air even though it was hot. And there was no shampoo etc in the room bathroom — though there was a soap dispenser instead of a bar, which is genius.

A huge hotel in the city, but from the center of far, but nearby there is a park. Spacious halls and very long corridors. The building is not new, but also not antique, in a futuristic style. The rooms are small but have a separate dressing room. There are enough sockets. The key card, but the light is not blocked. Very close to the old town and the bathroom. Outdated air con with uncomfortable controls. TV, mini-bar, safe-everything is there. Elevators only on one side, but their 4 pcs. They play music and show a slide show on a small screen. The breakfasts are very plentiful and varied, as in other hotels in Hungary where we have visited. Big parking. There is a swimming pool. Overall the hotel made a positive impression, but pulls only three stars in my opinion.

The hotel liked, only control the moment when you book, if you do not smoke, ask for a non-smoking room, got in a room for smokers-very eaves, did not change, because and later were settled and tired, but then regretted. The breakfasts are good.

What a lovely stay at a great location! While not completely central, this spot bordered a lovely park with reasonably quick access to both public transit and downtown. We stayed on the top floor and were treated to a fine view looking away from downtown. We didn't notice the air conditioning unit under the window through the blinds and found the space a bit stifling at night, but when we turned it on in the morning, the room became much more comfortable. We cannot speak to the amenities, as we didn't get a chance to use the fitness room or the pool (lots to see and do in Budapest! ) but we did take on the breakfast, which was very enjoyable! There were decent options for my vegan wife, which was very nice. The main eating area gets a little jammed up, but there are plenty of little spots to eat around the lobby. All in all, it was a great experience!

Room facilities are old, old style. Cleaners in the morning rushed to enter the house to clean, regardless of whether the guests have checked out!

It’s a big hotel, but honestly I don’t consider that it deserves 4 Stars. Grey overused towels, a toilet wich made noises all the night, a missing socket (just a hole in the wall) and some dirty walls and floors (-1) made me this opinion. But of course, there are not only bad things to mention. The people at the reception and at the bar were very nice and helpful. There is a big lobby, a nice terrace with a great view where you can enjoy a drink, good connection to the public transportation, possibility to park there the car (on the roof/in the basement). And a very comfortable bed!

The hotel is nice and clean. The buffet breakfast has got lot of options. It is great for conferences and workshops as it has multiple conferences rooms. The hotel is a "green" hotel, meaning it doesnt have shampoo in the rooms. The location is great.

Room small, no single outlet for charging v. Mobile phone. Is already quite accustomed, the joints on the very short bathtub are full of black mold, mirrors in the Hall blind and Dirty.

Great views from executive suites and welcoming staff make for a good stay at the hotel. Flamenco isn't a modern style hotel and that for me is one of it's charms. The restaurant and bar have good quality basic menu to suit most international tastes.

Old fashioned hotel making you wonder where they got the 4 stars from. The rooms are small, hot and noisy. Breakfast is no fun with cheap food and minimal choice. In total this is a 3 star hotel at best.

I was for two days and two nights. Meeting during the day, including coffee breaks and lunches served in the restaurant room. Nice, equipped, spacious meeting rooms with friendly and thoughtful staff. The food is good, very professional service. The rooms are spacious, clean (including bathroom), with minibar, TV, Wi-Fi and laundry service. The structure is dated but in great condition. The only drawback is that, once the restaurant is closed in the evening, the bar does not provide any service sandwiches or anything, just drinks, a pity given the flights that land in Budapest in the evening hours.

Nice big hotel, which you can just let go. The bathroom, the rooms and the windows are very superficially clean. The same is also the situation in the corridors. Otherwise the staff is nice and speaks some very good German. In general, however, the minimum standard of cleanliness and care of the facility is not preserved.

For a city break not really something. Relatively far away from the old town, looks old.

We stay one night, breakfast it was okay, the staff is not friendly. the rooms are dirty, the toilet was horrible, stink by the urine the fan did not work… so it was even worse. Very uncomfortable experience.

Decent hotel, breakfast is standard continental breakfast nothing special; decent at best. We did not eat at the hotel, you can get much better food for a better price inside pest. Location is ok, just outside the city on the Buda side, don't hesitate asking the hotel to call a taxi for you. That's a really good service and they Excel at this and you won't get cheated by the drivers that are called by the hotel. The hotel is a 10min drive from the main street. Rooms were too dark for my taste and were a little too old and stale looking. Very Hungarian though so you could call it authentic. We tried to check out the pool and it looked decent however we had to contact the personal to access the swimming and they had to swap our room keycards for cards that could access the pool area. Which was just awkward and clumsy. The city is beautiful and if you plan to spend most of the time sight seeing then rooms are fine. The bathroom has a bathtub which is just so relaxing after a long city hike! TV in the room, but no English entertainment, they do however have some shady polish channels which sent open in the later hours, so if that's your thing it's good.

The accommodation was pretty good and the location of the hotel is in a green belt area. The public transportation and some great pubs in 5 minutes time. The room service did a good job every day and the breakfast was varied and always fresh.

This hotel has everything that you might need of. It's a tour class so a lot of tour groups stay here. They have a huge lobby so they can accommodate big groups while checking in. There's also a pool underground. Breakfast are very well, you a big variety of food. Rooms are clean. Will come again.

Good middle class hotel, nothing special, very good breakfast — buffet, dinner 3 course menu was outstanding. Nice bar, good spa area, rooms were good but a bit dated. The hotel is conveniently located.

Great staff. Room was not fancy. We did not have a coffee maker or a microwave in our room. Booked a basic room. Good price for staying in Budapest.

The food, a disaster. Small plates and vigilance so you don't repeat. It's what the organized tours have, I guess.

One of the worst experience of my life! I do not recommend this hotel! I think its even a hostel! The rating on this hotel is 2 star basic! The rooms are very old! The room smells very bad and the carpet is wet! The internet sucks!

This hotel is great for the price we paid. Don't expect too many mod cons — Hungary is a little behind compared to the UK and doesn't have the kind of technology we're used to. But the hotel was lovely. We enjoyed listening to the pianist playing the grand piano in the bar. Very efficient staff, and a friendly place to visit. Budapest is somewhere you simply must visit!

Very good hotel for the price and the facilities, my husband and I enjoyed staying there and in that part of the city, away from the hustle&bustle of the Pest area. The buffet breakfast was good, there was a lot of fresh fruit and choice of other savoury things. The swimming pool and sauna were great. This hotel seems to belong to a very efficient German or Eastern European chain and attracts a lot of Japanese and German travellers. The staff speaks good English and are attentive. I don't mind a hotel being dated to the 70s or 80s. This one was clean and good enough.

Lovely hotel with a sauna and a warm pool. Really enjoyed the view from my room. Free Wi-Fi which works well. Small elevators but that's okay. They have a lot of bacon and french toast for the breakfast table if you love that stuff which I do :D it's central to some really nice places and a mall in case you wanna quickly go buy gifts or outfits. Staff is friendly :)

Very nice hotel Just the necessary!

Normally I don't mind much where I stay when I am on a short, intense trip. It's just where I sleep, and I spend most of the day out anyway. But for what we paid, and what we got in return, I was severely disappointed. Danubius Hotel Flamenco says it is a four stars establishment, but I've stayed in youth hostels with better quality and service. I mean, which four star hotel has a tiny bathroom with one single soap dispenser? At least it was strategically placed so you can reach it from the sink or the shower. When my wife asked in reception if they had body lotion, they rudely pointed out to the gift shop. The room was hot, and the AC unit was old, worn out, and barely puffed out a thin stream of air. We had to sleep with the window open, better the occasional wail of an ambulance than sweating the night away. The decor was also old, stiff, worn. The lamps were falling apart, and the walls yellowish and dirty. Service was OK, if a bit rude and not very friendly. Budapest is one of our favorite destinations, but we'll be looking for some other place to stay.

One word to describe. Disgusting.

Located quite far from the centre. With rooms for non-smokers. The food is little varied, and their quality leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms are very noisy and the beds are poor; they seem extra beds are of poor quality. Services with bath quite high, which makes it hard to shower to the people. With a hairdryer and a mini bar.

— Very unfriendly staff. — Rooms are really hot and hotel does not turn on the A/C till the temperate is at least 35C. (as mentioned by the man at the reception desk) — If you call for the cab thru the concierge, you will end up paying extra. — Breakfast was not up to the mark. — Overall not recommended at all.
