For two nights for a stag do it was fine. Wouldn't have booked there myself but it's good for a budget.

-Slight moist damages here and there. -No AC, instead a rumbling floor fan that didn't exactly do wonders. -No bar in the lobby. -Beds were OK, huge pillows. -Nice little courtyard even though it reeks of ashtray. -Somehpw our 3 day reservation of 2 double rooms had been split into: 1 x 3 nights double room Thursday — Sunday 1 x 1 nights double room Thursday — Friday 1 x 2 nights double room Friday — Sunday The positive parts of this hotel was the well meaning and kind service, and the vicinity to great beer places like elestöhaze. Sadly we didn't try 'Importer' acrpss the street. Of course the prices were VERY reasonable at around 50€ per room per night (25/person/night).

Bad service, below par hotel. The receptionist gave us our key — we went up to our room, only to find ourselves walking in on another guest (the room was already occupied). No A/C or cooling in the room either. We also asked the receptionist if there was anywhere close by to eat, and she said no. We went to call a cab and saw several places down the street with great food options. Glad we only stayed here for one night!

Dirty Rooms. Ants in the bathroom. I have accompanied a class and very little attention to security (rooms up to the sixth floor with Windows that open completely)

A hotel absolutely average, simple clean, some furniture to upgrade but great to go to sleep after a day around, only flaw the hairdryer. The breakfast was very good.

3 Star hotel (says on the door) gets 4 from me. We have had booked 14 nights and we found just to big issues. 1, the electrical outlets in the room were put in place by Stevie Wonder (pics) to me that's a safety issue. 2, the old shower needs a new tap or something… It was either boiling hot either cold. Just couldn't set the bastard on a fixed temperature. So I've used the shower like so… Turn it on, leave it for a few seconds, ok soap up, leave it again rinse. Funny. I'm guessing it's an old thermostat or something. Gets 4 Star for everything else, location, super friendly and helpful staff, quiet, clean, back garden. Thumbs up Thomas. Quiet hotel and clean room. Very nice Service. Unfortunately the shower curtain was too short and so the bathroom was flooded at every shower. Shower Gel also missing.

Cheap and simple. Nice employees, but the rooms needs some work. Beds are ok, no English-speaking TV channels (out of 59 channels, hotel 100m away has multiple english channels), bathrooms are ok, there's a shower and a toilet, nothing fancy.

Good location Breakfast poor but expensive and waitress not smiling. No soundproofing so outside noises and in the hallway of the rooms. Old bathroom. Just clean. The pompom: I waited for the taxi in the dark because the keeper slept in the hall and did not enlighten. In short I do not recommend.

Nice little hotel. Correct room. Very democratic prices. A few minutes from all public transport (Bus, trams, metro). Will be suitable for "fart-farts".

The hotel is located far from the center. But public transport can be reached quickly. Tram, bus, Metro stop 3 min walk. Near there is a restaurant, Dzhelaterija, bakery-bakery, supermarkets Spar, Aldi. The hotel itself is simple, "Sovkovskij", the furniture is cheap. But everything is necessary. For tourists who roam the city all day, and the hotel only sleeps, it is normal. Cheap. The staff is friendly. Give a leaflet with the rules in Russian. Not spoken in Russian. English. Armenian. There.

Fairly simple hotel… decent bed and shower, what more do you need for a stag do?

Stayed here for a long weekend on a stag do, so didn't really need much more than a bed, so this was ok for that. Shower was broken on arrival which they did fix, but bit annoying it wasn't checked. Breakfast was ok but didn't offer lots of hot choices compared to a lot of other hotels I've stayed in. My overview is, for the money it's acceptable but I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Crap place. For one night is ok. Old, tired, ugly, chubby and not very clean. Like all Novum hotels.

Hotel quite central, spacious rooms, the reception is a bit dated but the staff are friendly and the rooms are adequate.
Disc parking on the street for a few hours and for long stops at the entrance of the street there is a car park.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious. Definitely a place to stay. I will be back there soon :-)

Good hotel but, no air cobditioner, room service too low.

I have spent one night here on advice from a taxi driver coming from the Budapest Airport. The room was nice and clean, but the state of the bathroom and the lack of airco was very disappointing. The breakfast quality was way lower than what I am used to in three star hotels. Warm breakfast would only have been possible for extra payment. The "butter" was some low priced tastless margarine, the salami I recognized as the cheapest sort you can buy in Aldi.

The rooms on Hotel Thomas is not supplied with mechanical ventilation of air. Only the bathroom has a simple mechanical ventilation, when the light switch on for more than five minutes. All other ventilation is based on open windows. This is not good in a city like Budapest, placed in middle of Europe, with frequently temperatures over 30 C (85 F). Specially not when the sun shines throw the window, and make temperature in the room rise up to 40 C (100 F). The hotel is also inefficiently soundproof, so you will hear sounds from other rooms. I think it is not good enough, for a hotel building, built as late as 1996. Otherwise the hotel is good. Fresh and clean. Helpful staff. Near Tram stop and Metro station. Not far from river Donau.

Were in the middle of may, the hotel was only a two звезды. На Breakfast was sausage, cheese, butter, jam, bread, coffee and tea maker — full минимализм. Уборка in the rooms was disposed garbage. The hotel is not close to the center, but close to the metro (rates subway fare not small), TV in the room is, but Russian channels нет. Фена too. Rest in many European трешках, but hotels are disappointed.

7 guys stayed at hotel Thomas over the weekend and it was perfect. Large rooms, showers that felt fresh and clean. The staff was helpful and helped us with everything we wanted to know about the city. Near to subway and local grocery store! The breakfast was nice with different sorts of bread and ham and cheese!
