It's a cozy hotel. The chic location you're in the middle of, all close by! You can walk to restaurants and attractions. The rooms are modest, but there is everything you need: bed, closet, table, TV, mini fridge, hairdryer, safe. Shampoo/gel is not given out. Breakfast on the top floor, a small selection, but everything is delicious!
From the cons — the windows face the common corridors in the patio. That is, right along the windows (close) often go people.

A very nice hotel. Very basic, but clean, convenient and very close to the city centre. And everyone who stays here just loves the views from the rooftop balcony!

The hotel is undergoing renovation, smell and noise respectively in almost all rooms, the walls are very thin (the hotel is noisy), the room is dirty, shabby. The staff are rude. Changed room, in the second room the situation is similar, stayed a few hours and went to another hotel.

The staff speaks only English. We solved all our problems.
The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The breakfast was very good. Centrally located. There are many cafes in the circle. Metro nearby (Yellow branch).

My parents had the worst ever experience. The hotel has bed bugs, and my parents had to leave middle of the night. Were told they will get their money back, nothing is returned as the manager somehow is never available. Save yourself from this place.

Reasonably priced Hotel and good Quality. Something away from the historical center of Budapest, but only 1 kilometer from the Plaza de los Heroes. Good quality of the Rooms.

Budgetaccomodation in close proximity to the public transport, and a nice walk from the city centre. Your room has a safe, and nice beds and a bathroom. There is a modest but tasty breakfast buffet. If all of that is exactly what you are looking for, this is your spot. If you want a little more luxury, look closer to the centre of town. Downside: we had ants in the corner. Not bothersome but still.

Hotel located in the last 3 floors of an old building, in a very good area. However very noisy hotel, all night, impossible to sleep. People stay in the corridors speak very loudly, slam their door, a real hell. With a 24-hour reception we expect someone to intervene to stop the racket, at the price of the rooms during school holidays c is a right!
Disappointing breakfast nothing fresh, orange juice powder, bread under cellophane, industrial sausages of poor quality…
Coffee lyophilized, bitter, Italian s abstain… Clean room, 1 towel per person, not changed the next day television only in Hungarian! 2 bedside lamps placed on a desk but unable to plug them in because no plug! NO air conditioning, rooms are suffocating… 1 star for the location. Facing the hotel a yellow building hides a daily market to see. To purchase transport tickets, in unlimited 24h or. No more getting to the nearest subway and buying them at the machine in front of the subway. I absolutely recommend this hotel to people who like me want to rest at night after busy days. It is a hostel but you are told 3 stars.

Describing itself as a hotel was far from the truth and misleading, also saying situated city centre, that was the name off the street, nowhere near city centre, it was five minutes from nearest bus / tram stop so taxi into center was equivalent to £3 and back was equivalent to anything to £15 — £30, room was size of a cardboard box, no tea or coffee facilities in room, no free with Wi-Fi, ants in bedroom and toilet, heating was far to high and no thermostat to controll it to Window was to high to reach, Had a breakfast room if you like toast and hotdogs for breakfast that's fine! Never had a restruant or bar we would have spent more time their saving us a fortune on taxis between silver hotel and city centre! One small lift for over 600 rooms, MORE LIKE STUDENT FLATS! PLUS THEIR WAS REFURBISHEMENTS TAKING PLACE!

Centrally located hotel. Easy access to explore the city. Good for night.

If you like bed bugs this is the place for you. After making staff aware of the problem, they stated they knew about it and only refunded one of the guests in our group. There was no warning of this when we arrived and it was handled very poorly. Along with this there were blood stains on the sheets that were left for us. This was a very poor experience and I would not even recommend to my worst enemy.

Big disappointment! Photos not matching, no clim a real shower oven that does not evacuate and big leak, be careful not to take a shower of 5 mn subject to be the feet in the water coming out and if you want to have hot water be very patient!
Ants in the room and bathroom mirror too high no shampoo available or a simple bottle of water!
Lift convenient to the 6th floor but still need it to work properly and work that does not allow you to rest… really light breakfast, function of the days you may have the chance to have pastries but on the other hand No short fruit for a pseudo 3 stars… go there's Wi-Fi anyway I forgot the guy from the welcome very unsympathetic!

Last minute chance to stay in Budapest during Easter. Kind and helpful staff 24/7, fair price accommodation, satisfying breakfast with view, comfortable bed, close to everything (citycenter, monuments, metro, bus-go almost everywhere on foot). Minus that the room could be more clean and better decorated.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Andrassy, close to the metro station. The rooms are clean, the interior is modest but cozy. Great view from the balconies.

Three stars just as a joke. The first room they proposed had sewer smell, the second was better, but rather than a hotel, it looks like a youth hostel. And the price is that, so you can't complain. A bit decadent, tropical greenhouse heating, great breakfast if you like to eat sausages and eggs (not much else).

The room was very clean. The door is cardboard. The wall is probably the same. Sleeping is problematic.
The location is excellent.

Unbelievable dirty hotel — broken door at toilet, TV from prewar times, hairs at bedlinnen, no warm water in shower, no working Wi-Fi in upper floor, view to ugly backyard, not in any way worth the price! Even not free of charge if thinking about own health! Even the location to metro isnt worth to torture yourself with this "hotel". And the best — they even tried to charge me twice and just when I went to police station at Oktogon and let them call the manager — they stopped. Its a miracle how the sanitary inspection of Hungary didnt closed this etablissement already! 3 stars — xaxaxa! By whom? Beside this — was witness of a fight between "manager", which accused a couple to have "destroyed" a towel and wanted to charge them 10 EUR for a towel… take a look at their "towels" and make your own thought about…

The rooms are clean and nice but sometimes they are too hot. The service is average but the breakfast is mediocre. Also the only provide one towel for each guest. But the location of the hotel is amazing and you have easy access to most places.

The location of the hotel is very good. Very advantageous in downtown and with tram and Metro practically below the hotel. Rooms not too clean and within the limits of the 3 star. Very uncomfortable the hallways to get to the rooms which are all outside and overlook the inner courtyard of the hotel. Very small rooms.

Ugly! Little equipped! It is said 3 stars but just if it scratches one. Located in the last three floors of a building of 6 to where people live with. The entrance, a double wooden door in a block of old and badly maintained buildings. The reception? At 40 meters in the inner courtyard a depressing and dark room.
The doors of the rooms directly to the open corridor that leads to the central hollow of the building that is unroofed, you open the door of your room and you get wet if it rains or in our case we received the snow.
The room was clean and the rooms were very clean. Only valid for its relatively good location. It's like getting into a tenement. Bad Hotel. Sconsigliatissimo. Very dangerous. We were stuck twice in tow in the elevator and no one helped us. Neither the staff of the hotel nor the guards. Avoid staying here. Traumatic and stressful experience. The rest whatever scrubs. Mediocre but irrelevant view of the experience.

It's bad. Bed comfortable and clean, everything else not good. Upper floors no internet. Cobwebs, 40 degrees in room on entry. Have a shower early or water not hot. Staff willing but no backup, so don't speak the truth. You pay for poor and you get less.

There was no varied breakfast, it doesn't have to be a perfect breakfast, vll. Time instead of cooking eggs or fried egg.

Reachable in less than one hour from the airport by public transport. A two minute walk from Vorosmarty UTC metro station. Just outside the center in a quiet area. Reception 24h/24h formed by a friendly staff. The rooms are very clean I personally had problems with the Wi-Fi, only worked at the reception floor. Breakfast I would say good: scrambled eggs, salami, cheese, jam, bread, juices, coffee machine… all a bit basic but there is for the relationship quality price. Recommended for location.

Hello everyone, we have been five days of those days not cleaned or one. The first two days we put two bath towels from there one, it was all very dirty they did not change the sheets, there were ants in the bathroom, the shower was broken and the curtains that were white were black. Cleaning products are spent little. Breakfast was pathetic, there were no fruits, oil they put the things half they had to ask. Very friendly staff. I do not recommend it for those who go on holiday to Budapest otherwise I came and delighted a very nice city.

Place clean and correct but inadequate for couple fifty this looks more like a hostel residential boarding place of passage.

Muí Downtown The only good unpleasant staff in attendance left the luggage kept in a room while we were given the rooms and we were robbed even when the room was in reception the rooms were dark and no lock to close inside a mess we We went the same day for another hotel so much better.

According to the price. Convenient location to Metro.

I liked the price-quality ratio. The big part was that we were put in a room on the 5th floor, under a restaurant-with a balcony and a beautiful view of the city. We booked a room with two separate beds, so it was spacious. The bile, the bed cleaned every day. There are also disadvantages-1 towel per person, just a bottle of soap, a broken hairdryer and a desk lamp. The breakfast was poor, no cerealss and vegetables, the boiled eggs are quickly disassembled, the coffee is terrible (but it's almost everywhere, or it's 700 Forietov). Experiment is a great location, near the metro station and bus stop. Near the coffee shop; The hotel can be sent to a restaurant and will be able to call a taxi to the airport (a little more than 7000 Forietov).

Good price for the location, on a main boulevard. Not very close to the center, but close enough to that and the other objectives like Zoo, Botanical Garden etc. Several public transport means nearby. Very clean and quiet place, towels were changed on a daily basis.

The breakfast was very good, the pillows were very pita, and the room was very clean. I haven't seen such a bad breakfast in a long time, no coffee, no vegetables, and this summer!

It is an OK hotel, close enough to the City Center. Rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. Has a nice breakfast place on the sixth floor (top floor) with a nice view over the city. But, don't expect anything fancy. Our room had a problem with the drainage in the bathroom and a couple of spiderwebs in the corners. Nevertheless, it is functional and good enough if you only need a place to spend the night and some simple breakfast to get you going until noon. Several small shops around it, little space to park a car outside (no dedicated parking). Since it is close to the main street (Andrassy), you can also find some nice cafe to serve breakfast. Would choose again, but not for staying more than 3 nights.

The breakfast was poor, the air condition was very small, the elevator was very small and the staff was slow and Wi-Fi was bad in English.

This is a quaint, old-style European hotel. Rooms are nice and clean, beds need new mattresses badly. Bathroom is large, with shower, sink, toilet. No bath tub. Clean bathroom. Room has a/c unit, which is needed, especially on the upper floors. Seems to work well, but is very loud. Also has a small TV, mirror, and wardrobe. Location is a 5-7 min walk from the Octagon Metro Station, and close to many eateries. The House of Terror Museum is also about a block away. Negatives… All rooms have doors that face an interior open area. Walkways to the rooms are narrow, and if you do not enjoy heights, you should stay on a lower level. Only has one TINY elevator, which is slow and difficult to operate. Makes getting to the top floors a chore… 12 flights of stairs is a lot after walking around town all day. Staff is friendly and helpful, which is what pulls it up to 3 stars.

It's defiantly not 3*! Old, little rooms, dirty air conditioner near your bed! It works very loud but without it it's impossible to stay at the room — too hot! Toilet smells so bad! There is mold in the shower and some dark hair. Refrigerator doesn't cool anything but heats the room, especially table and your staff on it though. Breakfast consist of eggs, sausages, cheese, milk, juice, toast, corn flakes, coffee, tea, water and jam. No fruits or vegetables at all! And it's smells bad il the yard. Location is pretty good, near the metro. But it doesn't cancel all drawbacks of this "hotel"! We'll never return here!

(1) Food (breakfasts) of the same image (eggs-squealer, sausages, slurred sausages, cheese), ate the first two mornings, then started looking for food in the city.

There are no hooks in the bathroom and boxes in the shower, where you can add accessories for the shower. The shower gel and the soap that's usually in the hotels aren't expect, by the way.
Very thin walls and practically absent doors, which are not very warm weather, and/or the presence in nearby rooms of fun youth companies who like to communicate at night are not too happy.
But in general, if you need a comfortable and inexpensive hotel.

It was all problem. Nobody wants to go there. But if you get there, be careful, watch your things, leave nothing out of your hands, especially the reception.

The location is very good. The breakfast was very good. Breakfast is good, but very simple. The coffee's bad.

Three star hotel, good location and room quite clean, a real flaw was the smell of sewer coming out of the bathroom, but for one night it was enough to keep the door closed. Breakfast unbalanced on the salty, only bread and jam as sweet (and the classic cereal with milk). Really very nice hotel context, a palace with lift and quaint inner courtyard. They were very helpful in giving us the room ahead of time. Street parking from 8am to 18:00 for a fee with the classic meter and vigilante ready to give the fines. Great view from the breakfast room.

Very close to the subway, chic patio, the room was clean, the elevator was a bit awkward if you wanted to reach the top floor. A small inconvenient was that the air conditioning was positioned too close to the bed. The food was decent, and the view from the terrace amazing. Also, we received a voucher for a traditional meal in a cellar-like restaurant nearby.

This is the most worst hotel I have ever stayed. In one sentence nothing is good there. Being a 3 star hotel even they don't provide shampoo.

I got robbed at hotel! One day returning back to hotel noticed broken curtains which were just thrown on my bed, trash from my bin everywhere and my necklace stolen! At reception they didn't even seemed that they would like to help and care that there is something like this happening in their premises!

Close the city center very enjoyable.

The service was excellent. I suggest it to every person who came here to have fun. Not so far from the center of the city but there are better locations.

That's fine. Convenient to turn, fairly quiet, normal breakfast.

Went for 4 days to see Budapest. The hotel is conveniently located, quiet place, historic metro 100 metres. Breakfast is usual to eat, but diversity does not differ. The rooms are small and dark. Inside the air conditioner portable, somewhat noisy, but it was well chilled. The Elevator with the bullshit, you first need to press the floor number, and then another 5 times to press the same number, only then will travel. Probably protection from outsiders. Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout, inside of the room is a router.

All right. Very good value for money. In a neighborhood building, but there is peace of mind. It has a metro station very close by, that helps a lot to move. Clean. Recommended.

Simple hotel but ok. Be aware that they have not aircondition installed in every room. Staff kind and helpfull.
