Front desk could be rude when busy. Room was sometimes not cleaned for many hours until asked. Housekeeping was very sloppy in cleaning, put on stained linen and towels. Made me feel like I stayed in a motel!

It's a Hilton, so you can expect all you can typically find in a Hilton. Everything is pretty dated though, so it's apparent that the best times for the hotel have passed. The one thing that is really annoying is that you have to pay for everything. And I mean everything: water, Internet… I was afraid to open a window in case I had to pay for that too.

The modern Hilton Budapest City is located on the peshlya dare, a quiet retreat from the cosmopolitan centre of the city.  Budapest's most iconic landmarks are just a short walk away, including the Champs-Elysees in Budapest and UNESCO's Andrashi Avenue, with luxury boutiques and major Budapest attractions including parliament, Heroes Square and St. Stephen's Basilica.

Beautiful Rooms. Good Service. Breakfast is good, but nothing more. Restaurant overwhelmed at more than 10 Tables. Location very central and quiet.

We stayed here October 2017, good location right next to West End City Centre shopping mall, train station, within walking distance to Margaret island but not close enough to the inner city unless you like long walks, rooms are clean, comfortable bed, bathroom with a bath and shower, breakfast is very nice with a good variety of hot and cold selection. Hotel foyer needs more comfortable couches as we waited a very long time to get access to our room, hotel was busy with limited seating in foyer.

Great downtown location near shopping and subway lines. Very nice hotel!

Very welcoming hotel with very friendly staff! We visited Budapest before many years but this was our first stay at this hotel. I found the staff very polite and friendly and felt more like a small hotel in the way they looked after their guests. The location was good, not in tourist central, but in an area that still has some of the old Budapest charm and character. Right next to the Metro station, but you can also walk to the city center, Vaci st etc. The train from the airport to Nyugati station was quicker than a taxi. For breakfast we had various choices. Excellent value hotel. We would definitely like to stay here on our next visit.

When I travel to Budapest my default place to stay is the Hilton Budapest City hotel. It is conveniently located, being a 20 minute walk to the Danube River with another 10 minute walk to Buda Castle. The rooms are always clean and are large and comfortable. Breakfast is great and the dinner selections are tasty. It is also located next to a mall.

Best location, very close to train station and connecting to shopping center. Great service and great room. Give 5 stars.

I stayed in this hotel several times over the last years and I love it. The staff is amazing, the rooms are big in size and clean and well arranged. The breakfast is served in a nice area and the park on the rooftop of the shopping center has its own charm. The executive lounge offers good food at the happy hour. The hotel is linked to the shopping center and there you have a big food court in the basement to the left when you come from the hotel. Parking in the guarded garage is OK priced.

The first day. It's not the first time in Budapest. More often in Kempinski. This time we chose the Hilton Budapest City. Very nice hotel. Staff, cleanliness. Tomorrow we'll see…

Nice and client centric as every hilton but seems to me some renovation is needed. Location is ok — depends on your interests and tasks. But center is not the nearest point.

Hotel in accordance with Hilton's reputation. Too bad there is no pool. There is a great fitness center on the top floor with a panoramic view and a Sona. Access by train station Nyugati Palyaudvàr Eiffel Ter, Metro M3 Nyugati Palyaudvàr, Bus.
Airport access by Bus, taxi or car.
3 car parks in the West End City Center.

Nice clean hotel. Been there many times. Good shopping and restaurants nearby. Good size room. And staff are helpful.

Excellent Location Not much to complain about. The fitness center is better equipped than the majority of the hotels I have stayed in recently.

Located in the heart of town in walking distance from Parliament. Very spacious rooms (I was upgraded to a suite) and a rooftop executive lounge with a decent selection of food and drinks (big plus for the outside terrace with views on Parliament). Very friendly and proactive staff make this a definite 5 star in my book.

Clean & spacious. A triple beds room with many windows therefore this room is bright and is comfortable.

A typical US hotel. Thick carpets brown walls, Chinese package tourists. The room was clean and the breakfast was good.

This hotel is suitable for business travel. If you take train from airport then this is best choice. Located in same building as shopping mall. On the opposite side of the hotel can be very crowded and you will be "see" many Gypsy.

Great experience and traditional high class service of hilton. Breakfast was good and good spread. Smack in the heart of the city and was very conveniently located. Enjoy my stay (was on a business trip! )

Good lounge and location being right next to a metro station. Rooms are nice. Beds are a bit hard, but that's Europe. Only offered 1 pm late checkout as a Diamond but could do until 4 with a fee. If it's available, then it should be given without the fee.

Perfect location to visit Budapest. Central and convenient to all public transport.

Spent last two days in the hotel with so friendly and helpful staff. Room was upgraded from twin to double room executive for free due to overbooking — can't complain! Vegan food provided upon request — amazing rice and veggie tofu stir fry for dinner and lovely salad for lunch which included a true surprise of few little vegan petite cakes — happy lucky me! Bedroom was clean, bedding smelled fresh and all overall was great. The only down was the leaking shower which caused a big of bathroom flooding, hopefully that would be fixed. Give it five stars anyway as I was pretty happy!

What to say? It's a Hilton! It's big, clean and beautiful.

Stayed 1 night at Hilton Budapest City in a peaceful district after a long flight from Singapore. Appropriate place to recuperate from fatigue. Spacious contemporary clean room. Polite helpful front desk agents. A good selection of hot breakfast. Required to take a taxi (about EUR 15) to get to the shopping distinct, Vaci Street, where Hard Rock Cafe is located.

Hotel is a little dated in construction, but the hotel itself has been reupholstered and looks nice. Hallways are a little long after getting off the elevator. Staff was attentive and the Executive Lounge had one of the best spreads I've seen in a long time. Plenty of food options. Drinks available were the expected variety. Staff was able to answer questions and provided some good suggestions on local hotspots.

I must say, I am a Hilton Fan. Also, the Hilton in Budapest. No matter where you meet on staff is always very accommodating and nice. The room is large, clean and quiet. Window can be open, I always find wonderful in a Hotel. Beds are very comfortable. Bathroom with shower and separate tub. The tub is also a sink, where one would like to bathe in it. Often the tubs in hotel rooms are more likely to unlearn. Here, it is not. Top. Breakfast buffet I can recommend. Great Choice Of Accommodation. Fresh. Delicious.

This hotel is near the train and located in a prime shopping center. I would definitely stay here again, the staff was helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

Great facilities and very comfortable! The only drawback is the view can be somewhat unspectacular but is made up for by the convenient location in the city.

I booked on priceline at the wrong Hilton. Orsolya in reservations authorized a priceline cancellation and helped me book at the Hilton in the Castle District. Soo friendly. Nice and helpful. How refreshing. Thank-you Orsolya.

5-star luxury in the Centre of Budapest — Hilton is located in the plague and the city's many attractions are located around the hotel. The Parliament, Heroes square and the St — Stephen's Basilica are on the doorstep. The Hilton Budapest stands for refined luxury. Business people, leisure and even well-off Hungary meet here. Particularly appreciated our guest critic Nora and Erwin the soundproof Windows. The noise of the city and the nearby railway station to stay out — the retreat luxury hotel can be enjoyed so alone. The hotel has large rooms and openness, a luxurious bathroom and great interior. But also the many German television channels and high-speed Internet access have inspired Noran and Erwin. Hilton already much is done, that feels the guest as King. The room service is so to speak a pampering service. Champagne breakfast in bed, morning newspaper in the native language — everything no problem. Very pleasant however are the security measures that are being taken very seriously at the Hilton WestEnd. The guest likes the checks in purchasing to can feel really secure. There remains to mention even the breakfast. A colorful mix of hotel breakfast and Hungarian specialities. A great city hotel in Budapest! We chose this hotel because it was away from the main tourist spots but close to the metro. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet and the staff were very helpful and answered all of our questions with a smile. The restaurants offered high standard of food and beverages, also there is a terrace where it is possible to sit outside, enjiyng the view. We are happy to recommend this hotel and will return to it for sure on our next trip to Budapest.

Location is very convenient, it is located in a mall so you have options for shopping and food. I loved the modern standards of the room, as well as the size and cleanliness. The staff were very efficient and friendly. I was completely satisfied during my stay at your hotel. We were completely satisfied during our stay at your hotel. The junior suite was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast choices were great. The bar off the lobby was fine but it looked like a place for business and meetings, so we didn't spend a lot of time there. All in all this is a wonderful city and the Hilton is a perfect base from which to explore.

Splendid hotel located in the heart of a great city that is Budapest. This was my first stay at this modern accommodation. Stayed here only for a week but I managed to enjoy it to the fullest. Spotless vast rooms with comfy beds. I'm a foody so I fell in love with the Mediterranean restaurant. Service fit every need. Will visit again.

Good location, within easy reach of transport services and city tourist venues. The hotel is a very nice, modern, American style hotel with wide halls, large open rooms, and very good accommodations. The breakfast was very good with a large variety of selection. This is a wonderful property, a lot of conveniences, without a super high price tag. If staying in Budapest I would certainly stay here again.

Great service, large room, nice hospitality! Because of our honeymoon we received champagne and chocolate cake in our room, as a surprise from the management. Our three day stay was booked by 'Kras Reizen' (The Netherlands) and we had a wonderful time in Budapest, thanks to the gentle and kind team of Hilton Westend.
