Stayed here for 3 nights and have to say hotel clean, breakfast ok and staff really friendly and helpful. Asked for another pillow at breakfast and by the time we returned a short while after the pillow was there. Good service. Great central location within easy access to everywhere.

This place is a little gem. Right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of the Danube, Gellert Spa and is situated on the main street where you can find a multitude of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and clean, however it was the staff who made our stay here so special. Welcoming, friendly, helpful, they went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. Highly recommended. We plan to come back to this beautiful city and when we do we'll definitely be back to this hotel. Thanks for everything.

In the city centre with access to all major areas of the city. Very comfortable and convenient. Rooms are very nicely maintained. Breakfast buffet was amazing too!

Breakfast was very weak if you are a vegan or allergic to milk. If you are a vegan looking for breakfast I suggest you book something else. The hotel had fair price for the good location. The room was tiny but contained all our needs. It was unfortunate that ants had dug tiny tunels into the room.

Very good location of the hotel. The walk away is busy but the room is quiet. Cleaning quality. Breakfasts are very decent. The staff are friendly. There are no Russian speakers, but a couple of dozen English words and you will understand. Of the drawbacks I would like to note the lack of shampoo and shower gel, there is only liquid soap and it is desirable in the room to have tea and coffee.

The service is excellent. We received a champagne bottle for free because of a birthday. The attention was fantastic. The receptionist were very helpful and nice.

We moved hotels to this one and it was very good. The reception was good, the room was very small but good and clean and so on. Breakfast was reasonable but the scrambled eggs and sausage weren't really warm. Only complaint really. It is nicely set on the high street and no traffic noise. Great! Thank you!

Good little hotel in the pedestrian area, all attractions are within walking distance. The co-workers are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and corresponds to the pictures pictured, the breakfast is enough.

The rooms are OK. The location is excellent though and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

The location of the hotel is excellent, on the famous Vaci Utza Street, with the central market at one step, the Deak Ferenc Square reachable with a pleasant walk of 10 minutes, otherwise there is the metro behind the hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable, as well as the bathroom, although you could do something more to put in the shower protection and avoid flooding the bathroom when you wash it. Cleaning Service and towels change very good, with daily changes. The breakfast is very salty, but very good. All The employees who alternated at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. If I were to go back to Budapest or if someone wanted to go there, the Cosmo Hotel would definitely be the first choice, given the great value for money.

Realy nice hotel in the middle of Budapest. Hungarian capitol city. AC in each rooms and very tidy. Great breakfast and fantastic staff.

Real nice and cosy hotel, situated on a tourism friendly street. The only downsides were breakfast and the bedroom windows! Strange combination of downsides I know but even though breakfast was indeed nice, there wasn't much on offer. In terms of the bedroom window (s), let's just say you could easily throw yourself out of the window should a fool choose to do so! Normally hotel bedroom windows offer a view and allow you to open them slightly, this on the offer hand was /is well and truly a window that but be opened all the way…

I was four nights in this hotel and I have to say I had a great time. It is at the beginning of a main street full of shops, Vaci UTCA, and a stone's throw from the Yellow Line of public transport Fovam Ter. Hotel staff helpful, serious and efficient, great rooms the right and functioning showers. Nothing against, a surprise.

Very nice hotel, clean, quiet with friendly staff. Very well located next to Vaci utca and a transport hub. 2 small flat: ideal rooms for couple or single but too small for 2 people; and a very poor quality Wi-Fi.

My stay at the hotel was very satisfactory for the cleanliness, the renovated room and the varied breakfast. The value for money is excellent. When I return to Budapest I will return to Cosmo City Hotel.

I stayed at Cosmo City Hotel for a week. The hotel has a central location with very easy transport links. Nearby is also the Central Market Hall and a currency exchange counter with a very good exchange rate (Correct Change) I found myself very well: plentiful breakfast, staff at the reception friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, however unfortunately, the cleanliness is not done every day. For this reason I give 4 stars to my review and not 5.

A Decent hotel with a great location right on the main pedestrian street. The room was Very clean and comfortable. Of the minuses-bad insulation.

Everything was great except two things: 1) Could not see through the window and we had to get out of the hotel to check out the weather. 2) The beds were so hard that I did not sleep much, and due to this I would unfortunately never use this hotel again, as a good night sleep is essentioal for a good experience. There were no mattress topp and the bed was uncomfortable and made it impossible to sleep all night. So — if you like hard beds — this is a great small hotel with perfect loacation and friendly staff.

A Great location, and in convenient walking distance to the Christmas markets and main streets. The 24 hour Free Wi-Fi was good and the hotel reception staff were very polite and helpful. Daily room service and clean towels was provided. Our double Room was small and faced onto the busy street, so the noise could sometimes be a problem… but it was lovely and warm. The Shower cubical doors didn’t close properly so we had to be extra careful not to flood the bathroom, but it was no great problem. Breakfast was from 7-10am and was basic but ok. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room which would have been nice after walking around in the cold markets. Overall we enjoyed our stay for the price of our holiday. We would stay again if we return to Hungary. Thank you.

Best location in the heart of Budapest. Nice and competent staff. Breakfast ok, but nothing superior. Unfortunately, positions repeatedly "out of print. " Cleanliness in order. Very quiet at night.
One should perhaps think about whether it makes sense to harass guests at the breakfast table through "hop on-hop off" tour offers, I personally found this very inappropriate.

In the middle pedestrian Vaci. Better located impossible. As an acceptable hotel.

Apprehensive when our taxi dropped us off at the hotel entrance, a rather plain blue door on a side street off V’aci u. Then once inside a thread bare stair carpet up to a very small reception desk where it’s only possible for one person at a time to check in at a time. A very small lift up to the rooms only possible to take two persons with luggage so had to wait a while to go up to second floor. Our room was quite small but nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, nice bathroom with small shower. Breakfast was buffet style, the only letdown was the two hot dishes scrambled egg etc were always cold, only one two slot toaster so always a queue to to use it. We missed not having a lounge area to sit and have an after dinner drink. Great location near dozens of restaurants, shops and attractions. Overall a pleasant experience.

Overall very good. Excellent location. Clean and well equipped rooms. Air conditioning welcome. We had a problem with our 'key' not working but staff were always on hand to help and resolved problem next day. Breakfast was good. Only slight negative was the seemingly unfriendly and unsmiling waitresses at breakfast. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel has an excellent location for visiting Budapest as it is in the midst of it. Furthermore the room has been upgraded within the last years and are really nice with all the basic stuff you need for a long weekend. The staff was very friendly and gave great assistance and added value to the welcoming package already prepared by the hotel. The hotel is rated as Three star, but the service is worthy of a five star hotel. \Will stay her next time we visit as well.

This is a great hotel with a great location. Stayed on a mid week birthday break. Check in was quick, friendly and very informative with the receptionist giving loads of info on where to go. Rooms were very clean with plenty of room. Breakfast was as expected for a continental. Good selection of cereals, meats, pastries etc. Overall the hotel was ideal for a break in a great city.

Check your credit cards when you return! Cosmo City Hotels are a bunch of crooks. When we arrived they warned us about the restaurant next door taking financial advantage of their guests, well they are just as bad. When we got there they asked for a credit card and something seemed weird about it. Against our better judgment we gave them one but when we returned home to the states, we had a mysterious $40 charged to us. Perhaps they billed a "small" amount in hopes that we wouldn't notice. We called the hotel and they said it was for damages but wouldn't or couldn’t tell us what the damages were. I can assure you with 100% certainty there were NO damages. We are neat, clean and responsible adults. We are now fighting this mysterious charge through our credit card company. I was going to give the hotel a bad review anyways due to the fact that the lobby smells like a sewer and the people at the desk are creepy and repeat the same sales pitch for the excursions (I assume they get a kick back). Most displeasing about the hotel were the walls in the guest rooms. They are paper thin. I not only could hear every enunciated word our neighbors were saying but I could even hear her zip up her suitcase, that's how paper thin the walls are. Forget sleeping if your neighbors are watching TV or talking. Also, the breakfast was less than impressive. I would avoid this hotel.

Great property, great cleaning staff very very helpful and friendly although I did not speak English did everything they could to oblige, I thank them publicly, we stayed 4 days but had we known, we would have booked for a whole week.
