A hidden gem filled with charm and hospitality. Clean rooms, beautiful pool area, protected parking, and wonderful hot breakfast cooked fresh by our gracious hosts. Definitely recommend!

Excellent hotel, the best in san pedro sula in price-quality semi-orthopedic beds, clean facilities and odernas, excellent breakfast and an oversized pool.

Very good service, the food is delicious, the rooms are very comfortable and for me it has very good location since despite not being in the city center, it is close to most of the main places of San Pedro sula and there is easy access to them.

A restful quiet retreat at the base of the Mountains — Each time I have visited, my experience has been a relaxing withdrawal from the lively city of San Pedro. The Refugio is well placed in San Pedro in so that you can visit the city, beach, restaurants, malls and movie theaters with ease and efficiency. It is excellent for one needing lodging for business or leisure. When at the Refugio one feels as if they are in a far away retreat and able to recharge and recover your strength. I particularly enjoy reading or talking with family by the pool as our daughter swims. The rooms are clean and very well maintained; in addition the air conditioning is great and bathrooms spacious. We normally get a room with one double bed and one single bed for myself, wife and daughter; the bathroom has closet area which is great for storing our bags. The rooms can get fairly dark and we sleep wonderfully on the beds. Overall I highly recommend and encourage you to stay at the Refugio de la Montaña! -Sincerely Kyle.
