Great hotel. Reasonable price. Friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Great food with buffet breakfast (included) and paying lunch & dinner. Nice pool and outdoor deck and beautiful gardens. Safe. Shops, restaurants and bank only five minutes walk to the right of the hotel.
Only downside is the hotel gym — the worst I have ever seen with just dumbbells and no bench. Broken single treadmill and broken multi-use equipment. The room also smelled bad.
I note some reviews mention issues with missing reservations or double booking but I didn’t experience this as booking reserved beforehand in person by a friend.
The hotel double booked my room despite my paying in advance. I notified the hotel I would be arriving at 2 am. I arrived to learn that the hotel did not have a room for me nor did they seem to care. They never notified Expedia who had to contact them to give me a refund. They had no intention of refunding me since they never notified me or Expedia. I contacted the Management four+ times via email. No one responded. At 2:30 am I had to find a new hotel and thank goodness my guide was still with me. I would not book a room here.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Terrible service and terrible attitudes from the hotel staff. Their system is always down and I was unable to pay for my room using my card (which was working perfectly everywhere else; supermarket, restaurant, etc. ), and that caused a huge problem for me. Me & my colleagues tried 6 different cards and none of them worked on their faulty system. They did not present any solutions, & asked me to withdraw money from the atm which had around $10 fees per transaction.
Whatever you do, do NOT stay at this terrible hotel.
