Beautiful place, super quiet. All very friendly and super attentive.

Exceptional staff and service. Amazing layout, courtyard, two upper balconies with spectacular views. Breakfast choices are good and delicious. The walk to the park is about 8 blocks. Not bad. The room we had is snug, but it has a little courtyard. There was always a breeze. Pants and long sleeves needed during much of the day.

Don't even bother booking for Saturday when there's live music, they take the reservation and then say they can't find it… lousy service 👎

We went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The food was delicious and the service excellent. There was a good guitar player by the pool, but we were on the other side. Very romantic.

Spectacular food, we ordered a Camenbert from the start, simply delicious and Tuna, very good. The fish was very rich and the meat on point, exquisite taste.

I love visiting Meson Panza Verde, the staff is very customer oriented, great people! The rooms are beautiful and the food is great!

Great food. Marvelous wine. Terraces, roof top, candle light dinner. Highly recommend the tenderloin and the duck. Must see the jade vines that are now endangered. The camambert appetizer is to die for.

Best hotel and restaurant in the whole of Antigua!

Excellent place, every detail of the hotel is unique and special, so how the menu, were part of a great moment, super recommended.

Terrible experience, my wife reserve a specific room and they where trying to give us an inferior one for same price, that’s insulting, terrible place I don’t recommend it.

5 star atmosphere/service/food. It doesn’t get any better than this. Impeccable attention to detail. An evening here will not disappoint.

My husband and I are staying in Antigua for a few days. When we arrived at this gorgeous and magical place a few minutes before our room was ready, we were immediately offered a welcome cocktail in the charming lobby bar. Upon being shown our room, it was pretty and comfortable, but quite small, and not what I expected from the website photos. Nonetheless, we settled in to rest before heading out for dinner. Unfortunately, a venue directly behind Panza Verde was hosting a party or event which featured loud, thumping music, which carried right over the wall of our patio. Mentioning this to the front desk, they kindly offered to show us an alternative room upon our return from dinner if the music continued. When we returned from a great dinner at Frida’s restaurant near the Arco, the music was still playing loudly. Knowing that it would be hard to sleep with the noise, we once again approached the management and were shown the option of another room. The second room was absolutely palatial, and a definite upgrade from the first one. We were graciously given the chance to change rooms. The new room was not only much more elegant and spacious, but nice and quiet. Thank you to the hotel manager for making our stay so much more pleasant! Wonderful service and breathtaking atmosphere! Had am amazing meal at this restaurant for our anniversary. The staff were very attentive, there was a guy playing the piano, the atmosphere was very welcoming (even when we were in traveller clothes and not looking that posh! ). Nice wine and lovely deserts.

A LOT of hotels could learn from Panza Verde. They are absolutely epic. We have stayed here a couple of times and everything was perfect. The food in the restaurant was delicious and so exquisitely put together. The rooms are perfectly appointed with some gorgeous antique furniture which adds to the charm. This time we had gone to take a night off from real life and at 9.30 I got a call asking if we were coming down for breakfast… I was a bit cheeky and asked if we could have it in our room and they were totally obliging to our laziness. You don’t feel like just a client here, we are always treated so kindly. Keep it up, we will be back. Thank you!

A good place to do events.

Stayed here overnight, can't speak to the restaurant except for the complimentary breakfast, which was fine. The real treat here is the roof top terraces. They offer a panoramic view of the city and surrounding volcanoes. The rooms were about what one should expect for this level of hotel in Guatemala.

The food very rich and with an ample menu, but you must make reservation. Mesón Panza Verde is a European-style establishment with lush gardens, art gallery and rooftop terrace with panoramic views.

All of the restaurant food was good, but nothing really knocked your socks off. The price is quit high for Guatemala, especially for the quality taste and service. I think Hector's is a much better deal.

I didn't stay at the hotel, I just eaten at the restaurant. The food is very good, good portions and good presentation. The atmosphere is quiet, even romantic. Prices are high but you expect that kind of prices for being a very elegant place.

The Meson Panza Verde restaurant is simply amazing. New York City quality in Antigua. The waitstaff is A+, there is an excellent wine list, and the food is sublime. You must go.

Visited back in 2015, but everything was terrific. The room was gorgeous, as is the entire property. We received a drink on arrival and had it on one of the many balconies. All the staff were great, and the breakfast was nice (though not amazing). Can't recommend this place enough.

Absolutely amazing place! Loved the food, culture and architecture! The views from the terrace of the volcano are breathtaking. The gardens, the rooms and the warm friendly staff make this place magical! Loved it.

We had heard so much about Meson Panza Verde prior to our trip, so it was one of our must-do dinners while in Antigua. Our dinner was (by far) the best meal we had during our time in Guatemala. It's no wonder it's been voted one of the top restaurants in the country. We could tell the ingredients were top quality and the presentation was beautiful. The service was professional, friendly, and prompt. The setting was intimate and romantic, with options to sit at candlelit tables surrounding a garden, an outdoor terrace or in La Cueva (where we sat). The benefit to La Cueva is there is nightly live music after 8pm, except on Sundays ($5 per person fee added to dinner bill). We walked to the restaurant from our hotel on the other side of Antigua (around 6:30pm). However, since we didn't leave the restaurant until after 9pm, we called a taxi to drive us back to our hotel just to be safe. For a delicious, intimate meal in Antigua, we highly recommend Meson Panza Verde. Dishes:

Beautiful restaurant in the old style. Rather quiet and not overfilled. Eat very good and nice service. Price rather expensive.

It is not obvious but this "creation" (1984) of old building … Is a great achievement. Decoration just right. Lush vegetation, table
more than honorable… Lots of little corners, little terraces. A little away from the plaza mayor but not too far away. Preferably has two.

10-2013 This is considered an upscale restaurant in Guatemala. The atmosphere is very romantic and the food is exceptionally good! Everything we ordered from appetizers to entree, … amazing! 3-2017 Dined here again from our 2 years ago visit. Food is wonderful, staff is friendly, live music is lovely and the atmosphere is gorgeous! Would definitely recommend! Oh,. You must try the anise pork ribs,. Absolutely mouth watering with intense aromatic flavors! Yummy!

I have been going to Panza Verde for years — it was the premiere restaurant in Antigua. Unfortunately I took my husband there for the first time this weekend since we were in Guatemala for a wedding, and we both ended up with extreme food poisoning. After 4 days, we are just beginning to eat bread. The decor is beautiful and the food is normally amazing, but this was the worst experience.

Very nice, but the food isn't as good as before. And the gps isn't correct.
