At first glance it might look a little messy and kitchen could be a bit cleaner, but it is all forgotten when you meet the very friendly owner Carlos who makes it like a home for you. Art on the walls and a two big lounge areas with a future sauna. As evertwhere in Guatamala the hot showers as the electric current is only half of what the electric showers need to produce hot water. The beds are the best I have tried in Guatamala nice thick so I slept like a baby. Free water is provided and there is a refrigerator and freezer. Ping pong table and marimba if you wanna play. Make sure you to get a key for the front gate if you need to come in quickly as heavy rains in the afternoon tends to flood the road and heavy winds will destroy your umbrella and undercool you. Only 10 degrees at nigjt in Quetzaltenango also called Xela.

Lovely staff. Very reasonable pricing. Good facilities. Would recommend. Only issue was some Irish lad was constantly banging his local girlfriend in the dorm. Managed to scare away three separate guests. Luckily I have noise cancelling headphones. Can't blame the hostel for that though.
