Izabal Hotels

Perfect place to stay at the river. Clean and comfortable rooms, nice shower, good Wi-Fi. The staff is really nice and helpful.

Can't recommend this lovely place enough. Rooms are really clean and comfortable with lovely showers and facilities.

We loved the jungle setting and the welcoming host family. The breakfasts and evening meals were delicious. I explored the area by kayak. The family rents out kayaks at a cheap rate.

Could not have dreamt a better stay on the river! Marta and her family are so warmly welcoming, it fills my heart.

This hotel was awesome! Jovani — the hotel manager was amazing. He was so helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious.
Rooms were clean and spacious.

Quaint hotel. Extremely clean. Gio, whose the GM and his staff are AMAZING! 1st class service all around. We had breakfast included with our room and that was a delicious breakfast tipico.

Lovely basic hotel.
Clean, comfortable rooms, small private clean beach area. Big swimming pool.
Friendly staff, quiet location and beautiful grounds.
Best accomodation in Livingston!

The views over the palm trees and to the oceans were exceptional. It was nice that they had a pool. The facility is a little bit run down and many big tourist groups come here.

This hotel has a phenomenal view, incredible food, super comfortable and cute rooms, and is a generally beautiful property! We even took their kayak out on the river! This was an amazing visit! :)

They were really kind and helpful with my limited Spanish!
Good A/C! Delicious breakfast! 😋 Very clean rooms, bathrooms and floors.

Really enjoyed my stay here, it’s a great place to come and relax for a few days. Dorm rooms are good with individual fans and lots of space, only downside is no lockers to store valuables.

One of the nicest accommodations I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful bamboo cabanas in the middle of the jungle.

I was staying here for 5 nights and loved it. Clean and cool location, but mire importantly: Everyone was super friendly and really good vibes. Loved spending Christmas here.

In a great spot right at the mouth of the Rio Dulce. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner to anyone and the food is good.

We arrived late in the evening without reservation and were very well received.
The family is lovely, the kitchen is spotless and very well equipped, the dorms clean and comfortable.

I would definitely stay here again! Great location, friendly host, and very clean. The kitchen and common areas were so beautiful and nice to use. Breakfast (pancakes and bananas) were so yummy :)

Great place to stay, it's a bit dated and could use some updating like newer TVs or bigger, maybe eliminate the black mold not just paint over it. However the staff is all amazing and seem to do

Hotel is nice, has villas type rooms. Some are big for families. Some just small dobles. Shampoo, soap no conditioner. Coffee and water complimentary. Has a safe in the closet.

We really enjoyed our stay at the eco lodge! Ninette at the front desk is so lovely and helpful and you can tell she really loves the nature.

I went to Tijax as part of a group tour, the atmosphere is lovely, the staff are really friendly and the food and drinks are really good.

Lovely place if you need to disconnect or chill days while traveling Guatemala.

We loved the Dreamcatcher Hotel! Situated at a little river just off the lake you find yourself in a very calm location, not too far from the bus stop in Rio Dulce.

Lovely staff, everything is kept really clean and it’s god a nice area to relax for a good price!

I stayed in the dormitory, the employees are super polite and helpful. The dorm has fans, the mattress was comfortable. Showers are spacious, cold water. They offer breakfast for a fair price.
