The sunsets, and Staff are very helpful, The Hotel is a Motel and it was last renervated when it was built, It’s dirty. I don’t know how the people of Guam live or the Hotels owners, who admitted they’ve no money to renervate it, but it was fully booked the whole month I had booked. So I think there just running it into the ground. You definitely need a car, there’s no public transport, other than a expensive trolley bus bus costing $4 dollars a journey, which may not sound a lot of money but your no where need anything.

Great beach front location, but the hotel rooms are awful. A total disaster in bad need of a major refurbishment.

Parking lot is not safe even though it is near at the front desk.
you have to watch your vehicle because there is no cctv around that area they are not reliable for any lost or damage to your car.
so park at your own risk. And if that happen no body care about you. They didn't show any concern. I am one of the victim in car burglary in that place. So think twice before you leave your car. I would never ever recommend this place. GOd Bless us all.

Management and staff have always gone above for me. Here, you’re treated like family, and they can get you out of sticky situations, like locking yourself out on the balcony at 4:14am! They cater to you and genuinely care about your needs. Like in a flash! This is my always ‘go to’ spot to relax, unwind, and take awesome shots from the balcony. Love this place!

I dont normally blast people or complain about things but we just had a typhoon our power has been out for 4 days at our home and we needed a comfortable place to sleep. So we decided to get a hotel room me thinking the hotel I have been always going to would be the best choice and the best price. So I chose Hotel Santa Fe Guam. I called to make a reservation cause I heard rooms were running out fast. 30 mins from my house it was not confirmed but I proceeded to hotel anyway in a hurry before someone takes it. When I got there with my 4 kiddies I was told there was a 30 min wait because room was not ready. So we waited finally we got our key and proceeded to our nice and cold comfy room. All was well until I was hearing a constant tapping noise such as a mini generator. I said oh my gosh my husband is gonna be angry when he gets here. Turned the TV on there was no cable at all and was not informed over the phone that there would be no TV. At the front counter I saw a sign saying phone lines down but wished they had told me cable doesnt work either only because I have kids who have waited 4 days to be occupied. So I said let's go for a swim instead. Came back up ate dinner and is now wondering how am I supposed to sleep with that tapping noise. I know this is a lot to say and I shouldnt be complaining since a lot of people have to sleep in a gym because there houses were destroyed in the typhoon but man there goes my money and comfort. Only good thing was there was hott water.

Really run down. Sticky floors, no available electric outlets without moving furniture. These rooms should be half the cost per night for what you get.

Rooms smell horrible with mold. Floors in bath and entry area were filthy. They moved us to a different room and it still had us sneezing and coughing and watery eyes. It just smelled horrible. Pool was nasty. Changed hotels. Stayed st thd big resort next door. Cost a little more, not much and was a million times better. Lots of stuff to do, great food snd water sports. Lazy river etc. Rooms were beautiful and very clean.

It was very bad. Many things not working i. E the room phones, icemakers on floor s. Smelled musty. But for the price it wasn't expecting. The pool and jacuzzi closed at 7pm. People are just getting in to relax about then. Good customer services from Lady at front desk. Thanks.

The rooms are dated but not awful. It's a solid, inexpensive choice by the water with reliable sure services that cost less than a taxi. Service is above and beyond: I dropped my pashmina in the parking lot and they had it for me, nicely folded, the next morning when I checked it. Hotel Santa Fe will be my first choice for layovers going forward.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I should have picked a similar priced hotel away from the beach. Phones in the rooms dont work (been like that for over a year according to staff). Hotel stinks also. The pool closes when the help decide. There is no set time. The "fitness room" looks like a crack house. Lousy really…

Wow where should I start used to be a really nice cozy place but now I don't know if it's Under New Management or what's going on with the owner but it's is not not a good place to stay I mean they just let the hotel go downhill I'm in the carpet is the same carpet they had when I was here the first time like 6 years ago smells bad the tub on the bathroom has more on the bottom the laundry room really dirty they only have one washer and one dryer so you can imagine the time you have to wait to wash your clothes they have a pretty decent breakfast is good could be a little bit better the staff is really friendly I have no complaints there they do the the best they can but if they management keeps this up I don't think the hotels going to last for long it's a shame because it'd used to be a really really nice place.

Older, smaller well worn. Wi-Fi a real challenge on a daily and location basis. Close and cost effective hotel beach front property. The staff really do try, management needs to upgrade the Wi-Fi.

The rooms could have better beds, but everything worked, it had what we needed, and the beach is nice. That customer service was great too. The guy working the desk at night, Benny, was extremely helpful and answered questions that we had about the area.

Stunning beach view, good restaurant, small bit good view of swimming pool. Loved to go their more and more and more.

We keep staying here for more than 10 years whenever we visit Guam. Not fancy but away from crowded town and beautiful sunset in April. Hopefully hotel management keeps this hotel a little bit more tidy. But we still like this hotel and there is no other choice.

The price is very cheap, the counter service staff is very polite. There is a private pool, although not big, but just by the sea, you can soak by the water to see the sunset. The room is quite large, may be to reduce the moisture in the room, so the air conditioner is super cold. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant taste general, but can enjoy the atmosphere of dining at the seaside, but a little more flies …

Let’s be honest. You’re looking at Santa Fe b/c for cheap hotel w/ ocean view. That it is, perfectly. Low priced stunning views and right on the bay. You can’t get better for these prices in Guam. You can pay more for a better room, nicer hotel, and bigger beach, of course. But you’d be looking at those hotel reviews if you wanted to spend big $$ for that. Instead, spend your money on food, drinks, experiences. Stay at the Santa Fe for low-cost vistas and a beach at your toes.

A little out-dated with tube TV, but OK for the price and sunset views. Queen bed is 2 fulls pushed together. Have coffee maker, but do not provide coffee. Santa Fe Grille is good food and bar.

The rooms are old, damp, and the breakfast is Chang, the pool is Chang, the hotel pool is in the sunset ⋯

The hotel is more like a bed and breakfasts. The old breakfast is a buffet-style rice-flavored miso soup salad, fried chicken, orange juice and coffee can be chosen because it is outdoor dining so the flies are a little bit more, but the scenery is really very beautiful. The hotel is a swimming pool with no marginal pool. If you want to stay in this hotel, suggest a car rental. It would be convenient to have a payless next to the hotel. More like locals would go to a store that sells lots of raw goods.

Beautiful views, great location. Needs some updating. It's a bit old and outdated.

The value for the location is great, the customer service is excellent, the room was a little dated, but still nice. Wi-Fi was fast. The hotel is on the beach so you can take a dip in the infinity pool or go swimming in the ocean. Beautiful view as well!

The restaurant/bar has jet most picturesque sunsets. Great place for happy hour and live music. Restaurant food is great.

The place is excellent! I stayed there a couple of times and both experiences were awesome! Great service and staff. Will definitely recommend!

I don't know how other people do their ratings, for me, the hotel is just a place for lay over, you move around to see the beauty of Guam… I admire the courtesy of the staff, courteous and trustworthy… For me the room is okay and really big, toilet and shower is clean and okay… Your room is fix everyday, one plus for me… The only down side is the TV, it is still a crt type, I was expecting and led TV with usb capability… Over all I am here for 3 days now, everything is okay… And will be staying longer…

This hotel has a beautiful view of the bay. However, the 70s called and wants its 19" TV and bath tub back. The sundry store only takes cash even though it has the credit card sticker on the door. The staff is friendly. If you are looking for an inexpensive Guam vacation this just might be the place.

To my knowledge, this is one of the only hotels in the area that is locally owned. This feel is pronounced in the exemplary customer service and local-island feel. The rooms are about average, but the reason I give it four stars is because of amazing view at sunset from the restaurant and pool, as well as the service (from the fair-priced shuttle to the general helpful and friendly nature of the staff). Upon first glance, the decor and overall look of the hotel is very nice. If you look a little closer though, you can see the wear and tear. If you are able to see past the minor flaws of this place, it is well worth the price they are asking for, especially in comparison with some of the other corporate establishments in the area.

Well first of all, I would like to say that Hotel Santafe is alot different from what it was awhile back. the food is great, most of the staffs are friendly, the building is still standing, at least. The rooms are much cleaner than it was. I was able to see the place again when a friend of mind rented there, and when I saw the changes in the room, I really liked it. Whoever decided to take out those coffee makers and the unnecessary stuffs, was a good idea. The carpet's look like they are being taking care of and the rooms smells great. The sad thing about it, is the maintenance part, they need to keep up to par with the rooms, sorry to say, it's making housekeeping look bad. the view is great, and bravo to whoever is handling the housekeeping department. keep up the good job and I can't wait to be your guest. thank you.

Terrible hotel. By far the worst customer service. Checked in to find our room was not cleaned, beer bottles left by previous guest, used q-tips on the floor, dirty toilet, & the floor had not been vacuumed. I can't even begin to go on about all the bad experiences had during our 10 day stay. Ick! The only redeeming quality was the view… and the staff at the cafe were very nice.

Oh my God this Hotel! According to their web-site, Free Wi-Fi and Internet connection by Ethernet cable. They must have been kidding me. The signal was so weak, I could not even sent a short a line message out. Ethernet connection was not working either. King and Queen size bed I could chose but, only to find out two single beds attached. Bed sheets were not clean, looked like someone slept night before. Bathroom, no water stopper for the bathtub, so forget about taking a bath and while taking a shower within 5 minutes hot water turned to cold water. The room very cold, and a cold shower made me shiver. TV, my goodness, looked like a decade old and 36 stations listed but only a few channel I could watch for a minutes or so because bad receptions and hazy pictures made me irritate. I picked this hotel because I only have 10 hours lay over and wanted a hotel close to the airport. Only I can give a star because staff were very friendly and kind. I would certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a joke.

Very simple, but clean and friendly. Wifi purely for looks, 50KB/sec, it is easier to buy SIM-cards.

Room has a slatted door for the bathroom. The shower head was barely pushing water and another member of my party had no shower head at all in their room. The Wi-Fi is spotty and limited to one connection per customer. The Wi-Fi regularly requires revalidation and seems limited to web browsing only. The lamps in the room are unique, one flickers of and on if you bump it at all and the other has no locking washer or ring on the top so the shade falls off any time you touch it. The room has one drawer for storing clothes for longer stays. The TV is a 13" CRT. The bar had only one beer on tap (Stella Artois) and a very limited bottled beer selection. Overall I was thoroughly unimpressed with this hotel and consider it (along with a different hotel I had the pleasure of visiting during my last stay in Tumon) among the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I made the comment to coworkers today that I believe that Guam is due for a TV show that showcases the worst hotels in Tumon (which likely had once great days and wonderful stories to tell abuout their glory days) and selects one for an amazing overhaul by some HGTV makeover show. The worst hotel wins. It would be a tough call between the Hotel Santa Fe and the Pacific Bay.

United Airlines found them for me in a pinch when my flight to Japan was cancelled. I was EXTREMELY and pleasantly surprised! We had dinner at the grill — the staff was AWESOME! I am already planning another trip to Guam as my destination, and will use the Santa Fe Hotel if they'll have me.

Coolest beachfront hotel on Guam. Away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist district with the best ocean view on island. The Grille serves up an awesome menu and the staff are friendly and helpful. At the price, they can't be beat.

Hotel weak euros (and is 20 minutes by local bus to the most beautiful beach on the island with white sand. And here the beach with a grassy bottom, the Japanese on it do not bathe) ). Local restaurant expensive but delicious. Breakfast is not order it! there except lettuce and oranges have ( Near the hotel there is a local Coffee House so that's where you can eat delicious hearty and very affordable Finance. There I tasted the most delicious cocoa in my life:) All bright impressions and a bright holiday.

Food was not bad, prices not bad, but the view is awesome.

This hotel is located outside the tourist center of GUAM. Refers to the budget price categories. But his undoubted plus — private beach. And very beautiful sunsets.
