Alupang Beach Tower

Our room was very dirty when we checked in. We had to buy cleaning supplies to clean the unit. To add to that, some of the chairs of the dining table were wobbly as well as the table. Then, one of the elevators broke down, making us take the service elevator. Oh yeah, the washing machine leaked water into the floor tiles in front of it and so we couldn't use the washing machine.

The entire place is outdated and the lobby, elevator, and hallways are hot. The AC wasn't working well in 2 out of 3 bedrooms. We gave the room time to cool and went out and only noticed closer to bedtime that the bedrooms were not cool. The management refused any compensation for the miserable experience. It's cheap so it's no surprise you get what you pay for. The location is near a beach that reeks of sewage so I don't recommend this to any visitors.

Communication was very easy upon my arrival to Guam starting off with scheduling a tour of the property and similar rooms available for lease followed by next steps required by base housing office. Front desk staff and property manager made it a hassle free process. The room might be a little dated in some aspects but the overall price with all the amenities included is hard to beat with the competition. Will update throughout my time living here.

My family and I stayed here for a long layover while traveling to micronesia. Amist all the exhaustion from traveling, my son left his iPad and charger behind in the room. He was devastated, thinking it would be gone forever. I contacted the front desk and housekeeping did find it. The manager in her free time mailed it back to our home in the US. Our room was very spacious with a beautiful view. I loved the store in the lobby. And my family enjoyed a few hours on the beach. Which is literally steps away from the back entrance. We truly treasured our short time at alupang Beach tower. We look forward to our next visit, and will definitely be spending alot more time there. Bless you all at alupang Beach tower. As a Guam native this hotel and condo would be so much more beautiful, and would bring in so many visitors if the rooms were updated, the amenities (fitness and restaurant were operational). Why the lobby was so hot and humid, I wondered that everyday. I'm sure the rooms could be upgraded to a regular sofa or love seat instead of rattan furniture. The location is pretty great and to wake up to the view… breathtaking. It has so much potential to be more than a 3 star hotel and condo. Owners could do a better job with air filtration and plumbing. We had baby roaches coming up the drains in the kitchen and bathroom. There was little black gnats coming up the bathroom sink, thank goodness for toothbrush cases. I loved that I can go on morning beach walks, the front staff was always so friendly, and helpful. So much potential!

I have been to Guam quite a few times stayed at a different hotel every time and I can say without a doubt in my mind this was the nicest and most enjoyable room I have stayed in for the dollar amount. The room we stayed in was enormous and felt like a home more than a hotel room. It was very easy to check in and check out with zero wait. The parking was super accessible and convenient. The beds were pretty comfortable and the view from the balcony was incredible and breathtaking during the sunrise and sundown. The quiet sounds with the waves crashing in the background was amazing and I wish I stayed for longer. Also, they have a small mart in the lobby that had almost everything you might need/ forgotten. Room door lock faulty, mattress springs protruding, no hot water (common island issue? ). Watch my video of the questionable indoor pool. Kitchen lacks essential cookware. Despite these issues, kudos to the superb front desk staff!

Nice beach. Quiet and away from the large tourist population if that's what you're looking for. Not a lot of space on the sand so I could see it getting tight if it gets a little busy.

It's average: good location, spacious, but the hotel iiself is outdated. The staff are friendly and helpful. Just needs alot of repairs and renovation.

ROACHES! I can see why people check right back out. Walked into my room to find rat poop and dog food on the floor. Previous people’s trash still in room. Live roaches in every room. Smoke detectors removed. Every surface has stains and drips of mystery substances (inside rooms and every hallway). Towels and curtains have blood stains. You can smell the mold before you see it, and feel it in the form of a sore throat and runny nose your entire stay. Doors don’t lock. No pool. No fitness room. No lights anywhere outside the property. Restaurant has been closed for years. The 5/5 reviews are from a paid service. No way they are legit. Good luck!

Once upon a time… this place was a show place. Now, it needs a huge amount of upgrading. The rooms are spacious and well laid out but in desperate need of new carpet, paint, kitchen supplies, lighting, telephones that work, and other upgrades. The mattresses are hard as rocks, and the bedding is sheets only unless you ask for more; then they bring you a cheap strip motel thin quilted comforter. The view and the beach are amazing. Having a kitchen and a washer/dryer was a super bonus. Cab or rental car needed to get around from this location.

Great location, great staff. Loved the layout of the rooms; they were big! Lost a star because of the noise from the air conditioner and Marine Corps Drive but then, that road made it so convenient to get everywhere on the island fast. I liked that the kitchen was not big, since we just made breakfast and an occasional lunch. It is getting worn, but after the first day we didn't see that anymore. Convenience store in the lobby can't be beat, it had all the travel size stuff we needed for cooking. Gorgeous beach and pool. We got into the Jacuzzi bath every night; heavenly. I will stay again on my next visit. Perfect for a week's stay.

I see many different reviews. I would first like to point out, that many of the units here are owned by different people. I feel terrible that there are so many negative feelings about the place, more so because I Airbnb one of the units here. I would like to personally help make your experience here a better one. Please message me to book a stay at my unit. Newly renovated! I can say, based off the reviews my unit is completely different. I doubt there will be disappointments.
