Jonathan Studio Apartments

Host Katerina and the other staff (sorry did not catch their names as I was way too relaxed haha) were so warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived which is very important for me as a solo traveller. Only stayed for 4 nights but will definitely be back for a longer stay.
Location is Excellent opposite a beautiful white sandy beach with the most stunning sunset views. Just 5 mins to supermarket for essential groceries. 15 minute walk to main bars/restaurants/shops. 10 min walk to a couple of decent restaurants nearby.
Bus stop outside takes you to Kos town for 2.5 euro there is a timetable on the stop and was reliable.
I would recommend an organised bus trip up to Zia (mountain village with some of the most impressive sunset views in have seen)
Plenty of sunlongers at the pool with drinks available at the bar.
Rooms were basic and clean exactly what you need on a Greek holiday.
I feel really lucky to have found this Gem of a place with a real family run vibe. Tingaki is the perfect laid back get away.

Great location and friendly hosts. Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. We had a rear garden view apartment which was great for a 1 week stay. Supermarkets are 5 minutes walk away, bars and restaurants about 10 minutes walk away. We hired bikes and got around comfortably. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Lovely quiet apartments. Spotlessly clean. Great location right on the beach. Lovely big bed, free aircon, safe and Wi-Fi. About a 10/15 min walk into the main street in Tigaki. Bus stop to Tigaki and Kos Town right outside of the apartments. Plenty on sunbeds and no need to reserve them. Would definitely return.

We had a two week holiday staying at the Johnathan Apartments. The rooms were clean and we had plenty of clean towels and sheets. The staff went above and beyond to help us have a fantastic holiday. We would defiantly return. The beach is adjacent to the apartments and is Sandy and uncrowded.
The bar offers good beer and snacks, pizza, hot dog and chips and if ordered in advance a wonderful full English breakfast.

Lovely studios, basic but spotlessly clean, lovely family running them there so nice. Free aircon & safe, Wi-Fi worked great, internet TV, good shower & plentiful hot water. Kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge & one ring hob. We had a upstairs studio that looked onto the garden. The pool is lovely & clean with plenty of sunbeds. There is no shower room if you have a late flight but you can if the rooms free pay to keep it on for 50 euros.
The beach is directly over the road long stretches of sand ideal for lying on a towel & walk further down it to sunbeds etc. Turn right leaving the studios & 7/8 mins up the road is a supermarket. Turn left from the studios walking down the road (no paths for quite a distance) 10 mins gets you to the first set of 3 restaurants then 10/15 minutes further on gets you to Tigaki strip lots of restaurants, shops, bars etc. The bus stop outside of the apartments gets you to Kos Town 2.30 euros & the bus is lovely air conditioned.

Thank you to everyone at Jonathan Studios. Spotlessly clean. Great location right opposite beach. It's a 15 minute walk to strip although 2 restaurants on edge of strip were nearer. Both were very good.
The pool and resort were lovely and well maintained.
Only thing missing was the pool bar wasn't open in evening when returning from dinner. Never had that before.
We had a lovely time though.

Apartments located in a lovely location we stayed in a studio looking over the back garden lots of wild life to watch, pool to the front with a small bar area. Beach across the main road. Bus stop outside a trip into Kos is a must, it is all nice and flat due to my disabilities took me 20/25 to walk into Tigkaki you can hire bikes from most place and if you really struggle to walk you can hire mobility scooters, lots of shops, bars and restaurants everyone so friendly. Would come again.

We had a fabulous week in a one bedroom apartment.
Spacious, lovely comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Lovely walk in powerful shower and fresh towels every day. Much needed air con was included.
Pool area nice and quiet and always managed to get a sunbed.
Katerina and the staff looked after their guests like family.

Arrived at the apartments around 3 am to find a welcome message and instructions on how to find the room. The key was already in the door. The rooms come equipped with a safe, the key is on your room key, and remote-controlled air-conditioning, both of these are free to use. I loved the simple amenities, kettle, microwave toaster, and a 2 ring hob that I didn't need. The bed was massive and firm but not uncomfortable to sleep in. The rooms have 2 exterior doors, one patio style glass door, and a lockable metal shutter door. This one has small slats to allow air in but not mosquitos.
Outside you'll find 2 chairs and a table and clothes airer.
I make a habit of eating breakfast in the apartments dining area and enjoyed the breakfasts both the full English and the continental. The lunches they serve are good if you want to stay out by the pool.
The rooms are cleaned daily 6 days a week except on Sunday.
The pool is cool and really nice to swim in after you've spent all day in the sun. Having the beach across the road gives you the best of both, but it's quite rocky underfoot, so wear water shoes, or you'll scrape your feet.
The apartments are away from the main town and it's a double-edged sword as, on one hand, it's quiet, but it lacks being closer to the restaurants and bars as it's a decent walk from the centre.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, I felt welcomed and found Minas and Katerina to be welcoming and attentive hosts.

The Jonathan was extremely good value and we have never been anywhere that cleans the room and changes the bedding as regularly as at the Jonathan.
Katerina, Minaz and their colleague were very friendly and helpful.
Tigkaki is a lovely resort and the position of the hotel was great with a 30 second walk to the beach.

Apartments are cleaned daily except Sunday. Rooms are really good and have everything you need. Bed is huge. Aircon and safe are free. Pool is lovely. Bar sells snacks and has a covered sitting area. Beach is just across the road. There is a supermarket if you turn right at the road end. Its cheaper than the one to the left. Tajiki bars and restaurants are a 10 minute walk up the road which does eventually lead to a path. The bus is €2.30 if you don't want to walk bus stop at end of road. Its the same price to kos Town. Had a great time will definitely be back. Staff were friendly and helpful couldn't ask for more. Thankyou.

We stayed at Jonathan studios last week and had a great holiday.
They are in a lovely quiet spot, beach over the road and supermarket 5 mins walk. Enough eating places within 5-10 mins walk with the main strip 15 mins walk.
The hosts Katrina and Minos do a wonderful job keeping the studios, grounds and pool spotless.
They are very kind and welcoming, there is no charge for air con or safe unlike a lot of other places we have visited.
We wouldn’t hesitate to go back there.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Jonathan Studio Apartments. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly and the accommodation and grounds are beautifully kept.
I loved the location… a 10-15 minute walk from the more lively part of Tigaki with plenty of restaurants, shops etc. The apartments are directly opposite a lovely, undeveloped stretch of the beach, or a 5 minute walk takes you to sunbeds (for just 5 Euros). And the apartments also offer an immaculate pool with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. It’s a 5 minute walk to an excellent supermarket (turn right) and the bus to Kos town stops directly outside the apartments.
My apartment was spacious and comfortable with a very nice balcony with sea views. The apartment is fairly basic but it was great to have a fridge, kettle etc. And the aircon was wonderful (and no additional charge).
I will definitely be returning to Kos and will choose Jonathan Studio Apartments again, for the warm and friendly hosts and the most peaceful location in Tigaki!

Lovely apartment, really clean and spacious. Garden view, bar and pool very close, beach about a minute’s leisurely walk! Wonderful views of sunset over Pserimos island and sea. Lovely team running it all, very helpful and sociable. Huge balconies. Will be back!
Note: 20 min walk to main strip in town, fine for us but maybe not for all.
Bus stop right outside though! To Tigaki and Kos town.

We had the best time at Jonathan’s apartment Tigaki. We are family of four, me my husband and two boys. It’s perfect for family.
The location is really good, the miles long ocean beach is just few steps away. There are super markets every 3-5 minutes walk distance.
The clubs and party areas are 10 mins walk.
The room service is gold. Our room gets cleaned every day. Sometimes we left in a hurry and the bedroom were quiet messy, by the time we were back, it’s spotless again.
The toilet is clean, the furniture has its wear and tears but it’s clean and functional.
There are two well maintained swimming pools opens 24/7. Sun bed are always available.
The owner and his wife are very kind and friendly, very hard working people indeed.
I would recommend everyone to go to Jonathan’s apartment for a holiday.

Just returned from a fantastic week at Jonathon Studio Apartments. Lovely welcome from Minas and Katarina who work tirelessly to keep the apartments and gardens spotless. Great pool and sun beds and a nice shaded seating area to enjoy a drink or light snack from the bar. With the sea literally over the road and the bars and restaurants of Tigaki 10-15 minutes walk these apartments are so peaceful. Really made to feel welcome here and in the resort can’t wait to return later in the year.

We loved the apartment we ended up in. The first offering was close to the pool but did not have the morning sun. However Kristina and Misos were happy to let us move rooms and we were very happy with the room. No silly hidden charges for a/c or the room safe as others do. Clean towels and sheets daily or as required. And the room itself clean with a very good mattress. The facilities in the room were very good, fridge, hot plate, coffee machine, toaster and enough pots and pans for the two of us.
Misos and Kristina were very kind, relaxed and helpful.
Great shower and toilet, cool shower if there is no sunshine.
Up to mid-October the pool was slightly cool but usable.
Location great as there is a lovely beach 120m away across the main coast road, and the sand, water and shallows, are lovely although there is passing traffic which means it is not silent.
We had bikes and so the 10 minute walk to town was a breeze by bike and Kos town a pleasant and relatively flat 30 mins away.
Lovely outlook to the island and Turkey.
Small pool bar with simple snacks.
Very good Wi-Fi throughout the property.
We'll return in a heartbeat.
