Santorini Dome Resort is just far enough away from the tourist traps to give it an edge. Very private, great views and magic sunrises Staff are amazing, Demitri, Allen and Harry, our new favourite Barman are the best. So incredibly helpful and made us feel special. The unit is especially wow based on typical Santorini architecture and the decore inside is incredibly soothing. This place is ultra clean. We had our own private spa and great to sit in at the end of the day with a restful wine.
This resort has been a highlight of our stay on this beautiful Greek Island experiance.

Everything! The Best hotel.

Amazing place with a beautiful view and very friendly staff. Got to try the food there; pasta was delicious! Spacious, clean rooms with Jacuzzi and spectacular sunrise view from the room itself. You can see the entire city and the sea from here. Walking distance to the mountain to enjoy the sunset as well.

Amazing resort and great hospitality.

Rooms — 5 Star Everything looked exactly like in the pictures. The room was clean and tidy with lot of space, the bed was comfortable and the private pool with the view to the sea was superb. Staff — 5 Stars Everyone including housekeepers, waiters, bartenders, managers was extremely kind and did absolutely anything to make us feeling comfortable and happy, they also answered all of our questions and suggest us where to go and how to spend the time in Santorini. Location — 5 stars Although the hotel doesn't have sunset view, you can see the sunrise. The location is private and quite, and everything is 5-10 min drive by car / atv / motorcycle. The panoramic view is absolutely stunning and the breeze from the sea is so chilling. Food — 5 stars Breakfast was tasty, everything was fresh you get to choose from the avant-garde menu and you can also enjoy the buffet which includes bread, bacon, cheese, jams, fruits, coffee and more. We really enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend anyone whom interested in privacy and beauty alongside 5 Star service and acommidation to book at the Dome resort. Fabulous view. Polite staff.

If it's your first time in Santorini, you might want to book a villa that is Caldera facing. This hotel faces the other side which we found out when we arrived. We had to walk across the street to see "the view". If it wasn't for the friendly and helpful staff, I would have rated it lower. After the initial disappointment, we got over it and enjoyed our stay. The food was ok to good. The Villa was pricey and you would probably be better off spending the extra on a Caldera facing villa. The hotel is almost middle of Thurs which is the main town and Oia. Transportation was hard and you either have to rent a car for around €70 to get to places. Also consider that on your budget. That could probably go into a villa in the Thira area where everything is near. I don't mind booking a stay again as I have enjoyed the staff hospitality. But for the Santorini experience I recommend the villas in Thira with the Caldera views.

Quiet nice hotel if you want privacy. The sea view rooms face east side which the view is nicer on the west side of the island.

We had an absolutely incredible time at the Dome Santorini Resort. We went on our "engagement honeymoon" and it was perfect, romantic, and peaceful. The facilities, the pool area, the breakfast area feels private and is beautifully designed! Instagram picture worthy (which is my highest standard! :) )

The staff has some wonderful recommendations! The staff is not all from Santorini itself, so they've really taken the time to venture the island in order to provide some great recommendations!
I sometimes felt I was being sold activities as if someone was making some commission off of them, you can always choose to do what you want, which is what we did! We preferred to eat at great places than to take tours! When we mentioned it, we were given great recommendations right away to our taste!
The location was perfect for us; however, keep in mind you will need to rent some sort of transportation (we rented an ATV). The staff coordinates everything for you through their contacts and affiliated companies! It was easy and fast!
It is situated between the two main cities (Oia and Fira) which is what we wanted, privacy and a bit of isolation, yet still easily accessible to the main activities, shops and restaurants.
Loved loved loved! I would go back :)

They say that you must go to Santorini to enjoy the sunset but at this beautiful resort you also get a chance to enjoy the sunrise: an amazing view from our balcony! Our stay was wonderful. The staff were polite and very helpful and especially Anna and Dimitris who are both adorable. They went out of their way several times to help us whenever we needed something in our room or asked for general information about moving around. The buffet was very good and the wine, oh the wine… it was delicious! Five stars for everyone and everything. We would definitely go back!

In an overall opinion the hotel is very nice with good facilities and nice views. However it does have a few flaws. Things like the water tasting horrible in santorini told by the reception lady herself thus providing us with a 'Complimentary' water bottle. If I am recomended to not have the tap water at the hotel then the least I expect is to be provided with water I can have whenever I want or need it as this is an essential anywhere. One free bottle does not do us any good. Also you cannot have food delivered to your hotel room which is rather annoying because the food from the hotel is way too expensive and going out to eat isnt always possible. Breakfast is also ridiculously expensive at €15 a head with not much of a variety at all. This was a discounted rate too so I do wonder what the actual price is and wonder why it's that price. Another thing you should be aware of is the hot tub which takes atleast an hour to fill up to the required line so plan ahead. One last thing is that we emailed the staff asking if we had a private balcony to which they replied yes we do but we did not and forget a private balcony we did not even have a balcony. Generally its a nice hotel but its not good value for money. I would not stay again as im sure there are nicer places in fira or oia which are good value for money.

Unfortunately a hotel is not only about the scenery, the view or the building itself, but about how welcomed you felt overall — it is about the experience as a whole. Although the place is beautiful and the majority of the staff were super attentive, there are 3 important things that are genuinely wrong: 1. We lost the key of the room (which happens, right? ) and got to the reception a little after midnight. There was no one at the reception, but "luckily" we found a staff who helped to find the person in charge. She came back to us saying that we were "lucky" because she was about to leave and reception is generally closed between 12-8, which no one had told us. She was super rude when dealing with the lost key incident, treated us with disrespect and in an unfriendly way, and left us waiting in the dark for 15 minutes, pointing out several times how expensive it would be to get another key. 2. The breakfast is poor, like really bad for a hotel so highly rated. 3. The air conditioning of the room is below average, and it stays warm for a long period of the night. I would have given it a 3-stars if not for the key incident, which to me is inexcusable. For the high price, it is not worth it at all. Come to Santorini because it is truly a wonderful place :) — but find somewhere else which is either cheaper for the same service level, or that has a better quality for the price you pay here.

We stayed here in June for our Honeymoon (5 days). Very nice resort. Excellent service. Nice resturant at the place.
Good location — close to Oia and Fira but still in a quiet place with a great view to the sea. We liked that they took us the suitcases from the hotel car & the great service via mail or in the place.
The air conditioner in the room was a little weak. We recommend the resort. It offers good value for money.

The staff @ the dome resort was amazing, Dante, Anna, Nikos, Julia, and Dimitris catered to us in every request that we had. My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and had no complaints at all. The hotels location is a short ride from the center of town which we preferred because we did not want to be in the touristy areas. No complaints at all and the staff made our stay an amazing stay. Would for sure stay @ the dome resort next time we are in santorini!

This resort was descent. Its a very catfish hotel, because it looks nothing like it does in pictures. In fact, it was quit disappointing to see the contrast between their pictures of the hotel online, and what it looked like in real life. The rooms were kept clean, however we found a lot of bugs, which is normal for the area. The hotels receptionists are very kind and helpful. They speak English very well, and it is very easy to communicate. The buffet was nice, however it was nothing to rave about. The "hotel" is very close to everything, and is very easy to get to from the main town square, which I highly recommend to visit! I personally would not revisit Dome, because it was too quiet for me. But if you are looking to unplug and just relax, this hotel is for you!

What a piece of crap hotel, dirty room, rude staff, it might be a two star hotel. Over charged my credit card by $181.00 three weeks before we arrived and then refused to correct their mistake. I would not stay at this hotel again if it were the only hotel left on the island. Be very wary of this hotel and the practices they say and then do something else.

Beautiful scenery and amazing staff. The room views face the quieter side of the island and are beautiful. Some rooms have private outdoor pools and jacuzzis.

Unbelievable time in santorini. Great hotel. The staff made our trip so much better. Full or knowledge of the island and all their recommendations were amazing. Thank you Dome staff.
