Exceptional! Wonderfull team!

Amazing location facing the ocean.

We are currently in this more than exceptional hotel for 16 nights now. From reception to room service, the quality of the food, the amazing service, everything is perfect. We are treated like kings every day. We have a beautiful suite of two large full apartment with private Infiniti pool, view of the caldera, fira, oia and all sunsets. In addition, its ideal location, in height (the highest part of Santorini), between oia and fira is perfect. All the staff are kind and an incredible care. We are lucky enough to travel around the world and this hotel is truly one of our favorites. Best after 2 months in Greece. Thank you so much to all.

I loved our stay at Astra Suites. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, the experience was splendid. The staff are just so courteous, helpful and just amazing. They made our stay very special. The location of the hotel is also perfect with the most beautiful views and fantastic for watching the sunset too! I loved the hotel and Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful accommodations. My husband and I stayed in the Luxury pool suite! We could not have been happier with the amazing views, the friendly and hospitable staff, the delicious food and the relaxing pool and spacious layout! I would visit again & again.

My wife did an eloquent job of stating how much we loved the hotel and the staff, but I just wanted to voice my pleasure as well. Words cannot adequately describe the staff at Astra. They know what you need before you do and stand ready to make your vacation perfect. I am no stranger to travel and have stayed in some of the best, but Astra tops them all. George and his team treat you like royalty, Nikos is a master craftsman behind the bar, and the restaurant is not to be m…issed. The rooms are as good as the service, with a comfortable, local feel (and incredible views). Thank you Astra for making our dream trip better than we could have ever imagined!

Kalispera from the states! We arrived back home last night wishing we were still in Greece and santorini on holiday! Our time and experience was unforgettable and he memories we made will last a lifetime! I’d like to personally give thanks to all the staff from top to bottom for making our stay so relaxing and comfortable. From the day we arrived (and even before), the staff gave attention to details that I have yet to experience from any luxury hotel! We loved how the staff checked in before arrival to confirm our ship and time we would be in to coordinate pick up. This made us feel so welcomed and cared about! Check in was flawless and very informative even though we couldn’t process e turning after seeing the stunning view of the premises. The details of walk through and thorough explanation were amazing. Everything from the sheet of tips and restaurants (which was invaluable for food resources by the way) to the way every member of the staff knew you personally by your name made us feel at home. I can’t say enough about the comfort of the rooms. The beds were phenomenal and the turn down service with little touches is so very nice when coming to a relaxing holiday! The balcony breakfast is such a great thing and it felt like no question we asked was too much to answer. The amenities like the island tour and catamaran are a very nice touch. Having everything disposable at your fingertips made everything so seamless and easy to relax.

Unbelievable. Unforgettable. Went for anniversary. Perfect breakfast every day. Sunset pool view was amazing.

We did not stay at this hotel, however, my new husband and I were in desperate need in finding a nice dinner one evening (we forgot to make resovations). As we walked onto the patio of this stunning location, we kindly asked the server if they possibly had one table open for the evening. He checked for us and said that they were able to do it. We were the ONLY customers eating on this patio until about 8 pm in the evening. We got 5-star service from this waiter and his other co-worker. They chatted and joked with us. I have never experienced such amazing customer service in my life in the United States. We will take away from this trip such outstanding hospitality by this hotel staff and will consider coming back sometime soon and staying there. Keep up the good work!

The hotel itself is stunning but the service is impeccable. From the second we landed, the staff at Astra Suites has gone above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. Seriously every single person we have encountered is so polite and helpful. There is no guess work here. They help you with everything, even the little things you don't think of. The food is amazing. Never cold or overcooked. Complimentary wines and chocolates/fruit multiple times a day. The views are unreal. I could not come up with a complaint if I tried. Hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed at. I wish we could give it 6 stars! We would 100% recommend it to any and everyone. Thank you for the perfect honeymoon! We will cherish these memories forever!

I stayed at Astra Suites for my honeymoon and the entire package was a surprise for me! I couldnt have expected a better surprise from my husband for our wedding — by far the best vacation I have taken in all the years I have traveled (and yes I love traveling! ), so I can promise that you are signing up for something extraordinary. The people were amazing, super helpful & so so caring. The views from our rooms (we stayed in the honeymoon suite & the pool suite) were breathtaking. Every evening was magical as we saw a perfect sunset from our terrace. We didnt have to travel to crowded places to catch a glance of the sunset. The food, the deserts, the view was fantabulous. BUT the BEST PART was the room — GORGEOUS — cleaned twice a day, with all possible amenities — it was such a pleasure to be treated with such royalty. I can never forget my experience & if I ever visit Santorini again, there is no other place I am going to stay! Thank you every member of the Astra Suites Team for making our first trip as a married couple such a memorable one! We will cherish every memory for years to come :)

Where do I even begin to “review” Astra Suites? In 1998 we visited Santorini for the first time. We stayed in Fira and one afternoon we made the 45 minute stroll to Imerovigli. I stopped on the walkway at the entrance to Astra Suites and vowed that when I returned it would be to this place. We scrimped, saved and dreamed of returning to Greece — and we did just that in April 2017 to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Astra Suites itself, and George Karayiannis and his staff did not disappoint. From the moment of our arrival, via private transport from the airport, his porters were waiting for us and our luggage. Taking in the magnificent caldera view, past my new favorite shop Sand Lily along the walkway and down the steps (many of them! ) to Reception. We were greeted by the most genuine of smiles on the faces of Managing Director George, Dora and Kostas. Fresh squeezed lemonade arrived while formalities were taken care of. George knows this island inside out and went over his favorite places, must do things and the don’t miss’. All of this written down for us to peruse at our leisure. We had chosen a Junior Suite (Room is THE best! ) right on the Pool level. I had questioned whether or not we should have booked a larger suite, or a different level or one with more “privacy”. I am so glad we stayed right where we were meant to be! Fresh flowers, chilled white Santorini wine and fresh fruit were waiting for us.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Santorini! 1st of all the location is perfect, right in the middle of Santorini. The hotel is just simply amazing and so accommodating. The really treat you like royalty and every single person there is so genuinely nice. The breakfast is amazing and is served to you on your balcony every morning. There is too many things to say about this place so I will leave it with, this place is amazing and one of the best places I have ever stayed at.

This place was just awesome. The location, rooms, pool, bar, restaurant, and view make this easily a five-star Resort. The employees and the service they give make this a world-class Resort. In particular Maria at the front desk is outstanding. The employees provided a level of service I have never experienced before. Some examples of it are confirming with tour companies our tour for the day, Including pick up, meals, and drop-off times. Proactively confirming Airline reservations with us and the airline. Printing out boarding passes and leaving them in our rooms. Sending bottles of champagne and wine to the room and giving awesome suggestions for dinner. There are many options for hotels on Santorini. This will always be my first pick.

In one word, I'd sum up Astra as: excellent! The pool is heated, friendly staff, food is delicious, the suits are elegant, and everything is presentable. We'd like to thank Eleni, Maria, Cristina, Dora, Thanos, Bartender by the pool, and the gentlemen at reception during the morning for their hospitality. They made us feel right at home! My wife and I strongly recommend this place if one stays in Santorini. Thanks again!

At the beginning, I was not sure either to stay in a suites at oia or at astra suites. All places just giving nice picture of sunset, but never give any detail from which part of the room. But when I arrived, I'm glad I choose astra suites. Best service from picking me up till took me to the suites. And most important for me, there's no other roof that covering the sunset view ;)

We stayed here in our honeymoon in Santorini. We spent a total of 6 nights and every single day was pure bliss. The customer service from the second we entered the hotel was perfect. We were treated so kindly and any questions we had or requests were always promptly answered. The entire staff is so welcoming and friendly. It was hands-down the best hotel experience I have had in my life. I sure hope to come back again some day and would recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed in the smallest room and it was plenty for two people. It was always in a great location next to the pool and the view from the balcony was breath-taking. Eat breakfast every morning on the balcony was such a treat. Keep up the great work, Astra Suites!

Gorgeous, unforgettable view. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Definitely worth the stay.

At just under 800 € a night you expect an awesome view. Best concierge services ever. There is even a room for you after you check out before your flight. These people care about you. I got sick and they got me medicines. No charge. No worries. They helped me get through in every possible way. The breakfast menu is awesome and free. Ayce. We tried everything. They have room service, it is and is the same food as the restaurant they operate also. Great sunset views. Rent an atv and get away from Fira. Sail on a ship. They handle all of this for you. Plan a year in advance though. They only operate during peak seasons.

I stayed here with my family last summer (we were a huge group — 11 people in total). Astra suites was absolutely amazing, we ate there on the first night with a sunset view, and the food was great. The rooms are the nicest I've ever stayed in, the staff is wonderful, and the views of the ocean, Skaros, and the sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. Wonderful trip, I hope I'll have the money to go again when I'm older.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was incredible! The view is amazing and it's far more private than Oìa with even better sunsets The breakfast each morning is fit for a king, and the staff were always friendly. There are lots of steps here but that's just how Santorini is, it's worth it for the fabulous Cliffside views!

Loved Astra Suites! Stayed for only two nights, wish I had more time!

Didn't stay here, but Ate here! First off, you need reservations or sunset. The view here is better that Oia and with out the annoying crowds. The wait staff if highly impressive. They are well trained and attentive. The food was very good. Moussaka was good but not as good as what I had at Karma in Oia. But the beef cheek and pasta was the food highlight to my Santorini trip. It's a must. So for that reason, and the for the impressively skilled waiters and food presentation, ANDDDD the amazing sunset — I give this experience 5 stars!
