This was my first time in Akrotiri and a great discovery! Santorini is not just Fira and Oia — the spirit of Santorini lies exactly here: mystic, majestic, grandiose with healing mind and soul energy. I am a Covid19 Health Protocols educator and inspector and went to the Fisherman's House to build the system from A to Z. I have never seen such thorough application of health and safety measures among the dozens of hotels I have consulted. The meticulous care and dedication to health and safety, flabbergasted even me. Cleaning the rooms and disinfecting them, follows innovative methods and practices satisfying the client while keeping the rooms safe from risks.
But this is not the only thing that amazed me in this hotel. It was the fact that it is located in a geographic location that you could see both the glorious sunset and the moon-rise in the east, with the sea at both sides! It was the peace and quite of the hotel. The independent entrances, I couldn't tell if there were other people in the hotel. The fantastic breakfast provided with all the safety measures, individually packed items, and utensils. It was the fantastic toiletries (at last someone is paying attention to this), the spacious and as clean as it gets (I supervised this process) pool, where relaxing at my sunbed after the sunset reading my book with all these colors, was the moment I let go all the stress of the year.

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful place. The owner is very friendly and helpful, giving you very good travel tips. The room was just perfect for our romantic stay. And what a great traditional breakfast served on your balcony to enjoy the sunrise :)

We just spent a week at this wonderful place. Everything was perfect! We had 3 balconies with fantastic views from each one. Vana is so helpful and friendly — taking time each morning to give you maps, advice and local information. She even drove us to a restaurant one evening until we got out hire car. Breakfast was delicious, delivered to your balcony with a different choice of eggs every day. The pool is large, very comfortable loungers, everything you need in the rooms including toiletries and all staff work so hard keeping it spotlessly clean everywhere.
Great location with caldera view just across the road, walking distance to historic Akrotiri and some good restaurants, an easy drive to the beaches of Kamari and Perissa. Beautiful and peaceful position not that far away from the busy Oia if you hire a car. Short drive to the lighthouse to see the amazing sunsets.
We can’t wait to return to this fabulous island but especially The Fisherman’s House — we loved staying here! It made out holiday perfect!

Fantastic breakfast. Lovely host who will explain how to get where and what route to take. Lovely recommendations for dinner. It is well situated and very peaceful but you do need to hire a car.

What an amazing guest house! Everything was perfect, from the welcoming checkin to the thoughtful breakfast-to-go upon a very early checkout. Vana is amazing and ensured that every detail of our stay was fabulous. We’ve truly felt like home. Thank you!

Last week we had the good fortune to spend 5 nights at The Fishermans House — everything was absolutely perfect — from the most amazingly breakfast each day, to the pool and most especially the welcome and care we received from Vana and Savina. We hope we can return someday!

My husband, my daughter and I were in this place last June. It is a nice, family place with an awesome view. The people who managed the place was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent.

Place quiet and relaxing. Clean and comfortable rooms, but especially the staff are adorable, caring and professional. Haven of peace at very reasonable price. Breakfast incredible. Long life to this board who honor the Greek hospitality and the "philoxenia" which characterizes this people, for decades. Thank you.

Plumbing problem in shower that they couldn't fix, they said all the rooms were the same. They kindly returned our rental fee.
