We had a lovely stay in May. The house is kept cool all day and all rooms are comfortable. The gardens were lovely, with gorgeous views and lots of places to sit and relax. The pool caught the best of the sun.
The village nearby has a lovely bakery and small supermarket, and there are a few authentic Greek cuisine restaurants as well, all of a high standard. Heraklion is an easy day trip, as is Knossos Palace.
The owners' son was very welcoming on arrival, and the house and gardens were tidied throughout the week, with a linen change 1/2 way through.
Everything was great about this location, and we had a fantastic holiday experience.
