Xenos Kamara Beach

There's not a lot wrong with the hotel. Argassi though is another matter. The best part of the hotel is the ground floor, inside and out. It looks like it has been refurbished recently. And is clean and well maintained. The food from the bar was nice. Tuna Poke really nice. The rooms themselves are very dated. We had a 2 bedroom side sea view, very much worth upgrading to as the other rooms have internal views or over the access road. There is no sitting area in the rooms, to relax you only have the balcony or the bed. The side sea view rooms have the sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon. In high season, these balconies would be unusable. To be fair, they do not show or mention a sitting area in their blurb. The kitchen was very basic, no way could you self cater. There is a sandwich maker, so old and grubby we didn't use it. It needs a toaster at least. The fridge and air con were both very noisy. Our beds were comfortable and the combination of shutters and curtains kept the morning sun out. With the door closed, the normal external noise was well muted. However, there's a bar 50 yards from the end of the hotel which has live music 3 nights a week. This was loud to a stupid level and closing the doors did nothing to keep the noise out. We're not prudes, but 4am is excessive. On other nights, it was just loud. The road is very busy and noisy at times. Buses are none existant.
Argassi itself was not for us and I would suggest, not for children.

What a lovely hotel, and staff. Nothing is too much trouble for everyone.
Our first time here and it quickly became obvious that people come here time and time again and are like family.
I can’t think of a better recommendation.
Scrupulously clean. Bathrooms are dated but adequate, and I’m sure will be upgraded at some point.
We paid direct for a front sea view upgrade and it was worth every penny. What a stunning memory to go home with.
The beach is sandy all the way out, and non swimmers can have fun in shallow waters, swimmers can go a little further. There is a seaweed issue but that’s nature and sea🤷‍♀️.
The pool is an alternative and there are always sun loungers to be had. We only ate a couple of times here but it was delicious and served quickly and hot.
I can’t say anything negative about our experience as we have massively enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back 😁

Just arrived back from these amazing apartments. The rooms are very clean & cleaned daily with fresh towels daily. Kitchen area had kettle/toasty/microwave/hob/fridge, washing liquid/sponge/t-towel provided.
Our room 215 — side sea view was amazing, slept 5 & had two balconies. Second bedroom would benefit from draws/dresser as the wardrobe was small as we found as a family of 3.
Air-conditioning for 2x weeks was €140 & Safe €45 but €5 returned when keys were handed back.
The pool area was fantastic, plenty sun loungers & access to a lovely beach which was clean & shallow to walk out in.
Reception & bar/food area was clean & have amazing staff, who are very friendly.
Argassi was lovely, we a number of amazing restaurants/bars. Lots of family run places who are super friendly & didn't have one bad meal.
Definitely recommend Xenos Kamara Beach & would love to return.

This hotel was perfect for our family of 5. Not too busy, just how we like it. The room was clean on arrival and was cleaned daily. In reception area there are plently of books to borrow and read. The bar, cafe and pool area were clean and presented well. My children loved the pool and also the sea which was just down a small flight of steps. The staff are absolutely amazing, always a friendly face. I shall miss my morning cafe latte sat by the pool looking out to sea. Pancakes are delicious also. Definitely coming back here.

This is the most amazing hotel… The views are stunning and it's right on the beach. It's very clean and rooms are serviced every day which is fantastic. Rooms have a kitchenette with fridge which is incredibly useful.
The food and drink is second to none… great selection and price.
The best thing about the hotel though is the staff. They are exceptional — so friendly, kind and accommodating — nothing seems too much trouble and you really couldn't ask for more! We are already booked to go back next year!

An utterly fabulous hotel, first time staying here and we didnt want to leave. Fantastic location, hotel was beautiful and clean. We stayed in room 312 which had a wonderful sea view. Staff were all friendly, pool service was fab. I would definitely recommend to come here. Around 20 min travel from the airport and lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We travelled here with two children and they loved it.

Loved this hotel. Great location. Loved that there was no stampede for the sunbeds. Lovely pool area & steps down to the beach. Staff really friendly. Really good size rooms & spotlessly clean. We didnt have a sea view but that wasnt an issue as we were only in the room to sleep & get changed.

Just back from another great stay at the Xenos Kamara Beach in Argassi. All the staff are amazing. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, they were always happy and very helpful. Nothing is to much trouble for them. The beds were so comfy and the room cleaned daily. Can't wait for our next visit.

Just back from a fantastic week at Xenos Kamara Beach! The staff were very friendly and helpful—always service with a smile and nothing was too much trouble.
Booked direct with hotel and I stayed in a two-bedroom sea view apartment (Room 205, just above the entrance), which had a sea view off my balcony, room was cleaned every morning, had a super-comfy super-king bed, air conditioning, and an electric window blind in the bedroom.
Breakfast was good, and we enjoyed lunch by the pool on a few days—delicious food and excellent cocktails! The hotel overlooks the beach and as we were early in the season there were always plenty of sunbeds available by the pool.
Location is good, short walk to the restaurants and bars, few supermarkets nearby.
We did a few day trips:
Banana Beach (25 euros each way by taxi) – fantastic beach, hired sun beds and parasols, waiter service…. Food and drink ordered from your sunbed ☀️ expensive but worth it.
Glass-bottom boat turtle trip – absolutely worth doing! We saw turtles, explored amazing caves, and cruised along the coast. Booked with an agent by the bars. The bus pick-up point was only a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
Water park – it had only just opened and was a fun day out (20 euros taxi each way).
Highly recommend Xenos Kamara Beach for a relaxing and friendly holiday by the sea!

I have really enjoyed my stay here at Kamara Beach Hotel.
It has a great location — an easy taxi ride (10 euros) or a 4km walk to the charming main town of Zakynthos, right on the beach, which offers clear, shallow and safe swimming.
It is also conveniently located for restaurants and bars, but set back away from the action to allow a retreat to a more peaceful evening.
The facilities are kept immaculately clean, and our rooms were efficiently serviced every day.
These things are all great, but the absolute standout point at Kamara Beach is the staff. Every single staff member we encountered was genuinely warm and nothing was too much trouble. Noisy fridge? They had it replaced while we were out for the day. Need help of any kind? No problem — the front desk is staffed 24 hours.
I felt safe, valued and looked after, and it is the people that I will most remember from this trip. Thank you to everyone at Kamara Beach Hotel!

Great apartments. The team that work here are all really friendly. The apartments are simply furnished, and cleaned really well every day. The pool area is well presented with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The location of the hotel is perfect, just off the strip and has a beachfront location.

We had an excellent stay here. The location is awesome, with a great shallow and sandy beach right in front of the property. The pool was very nice, with a great view. Breakfast was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Parking our rental car was also not a problem. Great value for the money!

Hotel was ok not sadly not the best I’ve stayed in, in Argassi but the view is one of the best. The bathroom is in desperate need of an upgrade. Bed was very comfortable and balcony was large but on paying for a side seaview, being on the ground floor you couldn’t really see the sea due to the monster grasses! Hotel bar area has no atmosphere at all. Hotel bar food not great. Had a Greek salad which was equivalent to a side salad but price of a main meal? Sadly I wouldn’t return to this hotel.

We stayed here in August 24 and found it to be one of the better Greek hotels we have stayed in.
The rooms were perfectly adequate, but our 2-bed sea-view apartment lacked suitable storage for clothes. There are not enough drawers or accessible shelves. I had to use the floor of the wardrobe and the wardrobe's upper shelf for "non-hangable" clothes. There are 2 very shallow drawers in the dresser, and 2 small bedside drawers, but nowhere near enough room for 2 people for 2 weeks.
The twin room next door had a pointless low open-fronted cabinet and no clothes drawers. Their wardrobe was outside the room.
The rooms were cleaned daily, but — in my opinion — like all Greek hotel rooms, an hour with a semi-competent handyman to fix all the little breaks, cracks and missing bits would elevate the experience a little.
The reception, bar and pool area were superb. Very clean and well looked after, with fantastic and highly attentive staff. We never struggled to get a sunbed, but most had gone by about 10am.
Location wise it is perfect. Slightly at one end of the main resort, it is away from the noise, but only 5 minutes to the centre.
It is also on a very nice little beach, the sea was wonderfully warm and it was waist depth for a good 20-30 m.
I would give it 5 stars, but the room storage let it down, as did the fact that the main balcony with chairs/table was off the twin room not the main double, which was a shame, but maybe not a deal breaker.

The location is brilliant. From the pool area you have direct access to the beach and the bridge. It is also less than a 5 minute walk to the centre of the resort. We had a 2 bed family apartment which was basic but functional. The lunch from the bar was very good and drinks were reasonably priced. Would recommend it for families and would go back again.

Came here in 2009 with my lad who was 3 at the time, it was a lovely hotel with a nice bar and nice food, the area had some great bars and restaurants with plenty of choice. All round it was a great place but pitty there wasn't much there for the lado. We still enjoyed the pool and the sea and the places we visited. All round it was a good average place to stay 👍

Just returned from a lovely 5 night stay with brilliant staff who cannot do enough for you. The apartment had everything you needed, clean towels provided daily and toiletries in the bathroom. Air con is available for €10 a night.
The pool area is lovely never had any issues getting sunbed’s and just a few steps down to the beach.
Plenty of restaurants and bars within a 2 min stroll and a supermarket at the top of the street for all your essentials, would also recommend the food at pool bar for during the day.
Would recommend Ethnic for evening meal great food and service.
