Alisaxni Studios

My first time in on this beautiful island and I couldn't have chose a better place to stay. The hosts Dennis and his mother were warm, caring and helpful. The hotel was spotless, and nice big kitchen there if you don't want to eat out. Ground floor rooms facing courtyard have their own patio and kitchen. Alisaxni is peaceful. You can sit in the courtyard and only hear the sound of the waves. My room overlooking the sea was beautiful. I cannot wait to go back. October is end of season, so lot of places close up, but Argassi still had a few restaurants, shops and bars open. Perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet.

Everything was wonderful. Thank you. We’ll definitely come back here☀️

Me and my fiancè spent 8 nights here. A small corner of Paridise in Argasi. Excellent notes: private position compared to either locations in the area, private parking and all services and restaurants close by. 2 steps and you are on the beach enjoying the sea. Rooms are VERY CLEAN and all services are managed in a very good manner. We would give Argasi a 3 on location because is very busy and it gets even busier after dinner time.

That’s probably the most clean place we’ve ever been, we enjoyed our stay.

I'm sure the apartments are lovely, but the poor turtle living out front in dirty water and hardly any room is sad. This is not how animals should be kept : (do better, please.

Overall a wonderful place. The location is great, you can sleep by the sea and just relax and enjoy the view. The owners are also very friendly and willing to help. They also gave us their apricots and oranges from the garden which was a lovely treat. Free parking is also a great bonus — and even in the shade. The cleanliness is great, room are cleaned every day and you receive fresh bed sheets and towels.
On the other hand, as far as the room goes, the air condition was rather loud, but luckily the rooms are positioned so that they are rather cold. I also found that the hair dryer did not work. Now the biggest dissapointment was the kitchen. There is only one socket for all appliances (kettle, stove, coffee machine, toaster, milk frother etc). We tried to make coffee on the first day but had to wait for other people to free that one socket so we could heat the watter in a kettle. The stove and the coffee machine did not work. In the next days we were not using the kitchen at all and just went to coffee to a restaurant.

Fantastic accommodation right on the sandy beach with free sunbeds for guests to use on the beach and the beautiful gardens. We stayed in a ground floor studio which was amazing, tastefully and artistically decorated with a good size kitchen and full sized cooker and bathroom with rainfall shower. Very comfortable bed too which is rare in self catering accommodation. The owners were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, they gave us traditional cookies, homemade wine and olive oil. We couldn't have chosen better accommodation for our holiday in Argassi. Close to lot's of restaurants and shops with a bus stop a few metres away Would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I stayed for a week in one of the rooms with sea view, we had the perfect week. Late check in was no problem, the house and rooms are beautiful with a maritime crafts and arts touch, own beach, kitchen and BBQ available to use. Denis (Hope I spelt it right) and his family are super friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much. Rooms were quiet, with air con, beautiful en suite rain shower, comfortable beds. There’s sun beds and a shower in the beach as well. Short swim or wade out in the water brings you to a beautiful little rocky reef where you can see small schools of fish, octopus, moray eels, anemones and sea grass. Argassi is a lovely little resort with lots of restaurants and bars, but quiet enough for families or people who just want to chill. We will hopefully be back next year, wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Just got back from a wonderful stay here. I agree with the other reviewers who explain that it is a family run hotel and it is absolutely wonderful! A bit understated, but it is all great! Right on the beach. With a great barbecue for the guests to use, beautiful patio and a table at the waters edge, sun loungers for the guests too! Owners are nice, and responsive. We will be back!

Alisaxni Studios is a wonderful place to stay! The premises is well maintained and looks fantastic. The owner is accomadating and extremely helpful. The beachfront property gives you ample opportunity to relax on the studio-exclusive sunbeds without too much of a crowd. The rooms have air-conditioning and are refreshed daily (except Sunday I think). The location is also advantageous as you are within walking distance of many amenities (bakery, cafe, market, restaurants, bars, taverns) without the disruption of the crowds. It's cozy, comfy, and I would definitely look at staying here again if we return to Zakynthos!
