Admiral Argassi Hotel

We absolutely loved staying at Admiral De Lux. The hotel was beautiful and constantly clean. The location was amazing pretty much in Argassi Town with lots of pubs, restaurants and activities to do around. The all inclusive food was the best we’ve had so far, lots of veggie and meat options however sometimes repetitive, there were a huge range of cocktails to choose from and also a snack menu in between courses if needed. This was helpful when we were out for lunch one day, they would bring round drinks and burgers around the pool which i’ve never seen at an all inclusive.
We had some issues with our flight and TUI so we had to source our own accommodation at 12am. The reception staff made this so much less stressful for us. They were calming and understanding of our situation and did everything they could to help.
We wanted to specifically say that Kornela was amazing during and after this situation.
The pool and evening entertainment made for a reason to stay in the all inclusive not wanting to venture out too much and make the most of our stay.

On our arrival, a receptionist was standing outside the hotel, ready to greet us, which was a lovely welcoming touch. After checking in (and paying the 10€ a night local tax) we were shown to our room and assisted with our luggage via a (very small but adequate) lift. The room was lovely, with adequate storage, albeit just a couple of drawers and an open rail for hanging our clothes. Our room overlooked the pool and also had a direct (reciprocal) view into the restaurant. Privacy was not an issue as long as we kept our curtains closed.
The pool was quite small for the size of hotel, and inevitably sunbeds were reserved from early in the morning. It was fairly noisy with loud music playing for most of the day, and impromptu aerobics sessions going on. We did join the throngs around the pool on one occasion, when we laid claim to a couple of sunbeds further away from the pool, where we were (no fault of the hotel) plagued by wasps and stray cats. Snacks (such as hot dogs) and alcoholic “shots” were offered by waiters throughout the day.
We found the beach which was a 10-minute walk from the hotel, where we paid 15€ a day for two sunbeds and a parasol. The scenery was lovely to behold, the sea was beautifully warm (mid to late September) and we were content to spend the majority of our time reading our books or swimming in the sea. A delicious selection of fruit (enough for two) was brought round by a local vendor for 5€. The beach was generally peaceful too!

We stayed at this hotel recently and while it has some lovely aspects, there were also quite a few issues that left us feeling disappointed.
On arrival, the first impression was very good – the hotel is small-scale, quiet, and aesthetically very nice. The location is perfect too, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away. We had to wait around 30 minutes for our room, but since we arrived before official check-in, this wasn’t a problem. The first room we were given seemed perfectly fine at first. However, after our first shower we noticed a handful of ants. Initially we didn’t think much of it, but when we returned later that evening there were ants everywhere.
We went to reception and the lady sprayed bug killer in the room before saying she’d check for another option. When she came back, we were told we could leave our belongings in the original room and move to another room just for the night. This “temporary” room was on the other side of the complex and in very poor condition – honestly, it was disgusting. By this point it was past midnight, so we just stayed, but we were angry at the standard and at being asked to leave our things behind overnight.
Thankfully, the following morning another member of staff was much more professional and moved us straight away to a new room which was excellent – same style as the original but even nicer. We did still notice the odd ant after showers, but with some bug spray we managed.

Visited here as a surprise getaway for my partners 30th birthday along with 2 of our friends. Was very sceptical after some scary reviews on here, but must say, please disregard them, as we all had an incredible 10 days here. My first time on this beautiful island.
First of all, the check in was seamless and stress free, receptionists very helpful and the kind lady walked us up to our rooms. €10 per night per room for the tourists tax.
We had a deluxe room on the second floor, room 308, very spacious room and the views were incredible, was able to see out to the Zante port docks and the beach. Only slight niggle we had, staying for 10 nights, was the lack of wardrobe space, as it was all open plan, nothing major but maybe something to consider.
I wanted to surprise my partner further on his actual birthday and when the housekeeping staff came along, explained that it was his birthday, and was left with some beautiful petals and towel art on the bed! I was honestly lost for words and so was my partner when he saw the room! Violetta you’re incredible, thank you again so very very much 🫶 we also had a bottle of champagne on the evening too which was a lovely added touch.
I also loved the fact that each day there was a fresh large bottle of water left in the room, a nice touch that was very much appreciated, as I haven’t experienced this anywhere else yet!
Drinks selection was very good, plenty of choices of cocktails/mocktails and soft drinks to choose from all through the day.

3-star hotel with a standard of a 4-star one. Great location, helpful staff, very clean and luxurious. Sheets changed almost every single day, variety of dishes, tasty drinks at the bar. We had an amazing stay.

Returned yesterday after 9 night stay. Lovely hotel. Staff were lovely especially Elena the restaurant manageress. She was always pleasant & friendly. Went above & beyond to accommodate any requests. We were shown to our room on arrival by reception staff. Will definitely be returning. Food was amazing plenty of choice. Cleanliness of rooms etc exceptional!

We booked into the hotel on the 1st of July this year for one weeks stay. We was shown to our room by the staff and they brought our cases to the room. We found that there was a shower over the bath, which I didn't find it safe for my mum to climb in and out. I spoke to the staff on the reception the next morning, and asked if we could have a room with a shower cubicle. They were very understanding and a found us a room across from the main hotel, which we accepted. We loved the the food and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. There were some nights where there was no entertainment, and people were having to sit on the loungers around the pool on the evening. The waiters brought snacks and drinks to the guests during the day, which was nice. All the staff were friendly and helpful. One of the down sides to the hotel was there were no hand rails down the stairs to the toilets in the lobby, and the stairs going up to the rooms which concerned me. The music in the restaurant and around the pool was very repetitive. The staff did a very good job of removing towels on the big beds around the pool that people had reserved. If you want a quiet holiday to relax, then this hotel may be a good choice. I'm not sure I would return to this particular resort. We have just returned from a week at this hotel and it was fantastic.
The reception staff were super helpful and friendly even decorated room with balloons for my birthday!
Great location lots of shops and bars nearby.
The room was clean and well looked after with cleaners everyday and if we were around asking us if we wanted fresh towels, from what I could tell the bedding was only changed once but this didn’t bother us, water was always available sometimes you just had to ask. My one criticism would be I do not believe our floor was mopped so by day 6/7 my feet felt dirty when walking around the room.
Pool was lovely and clean with no struggle for a sun lounger.
The food was good but felt very repetitive if you have young children or are a picky eater may not be for you.
All inclusive drinks were good although some could be very strong.
Overall a very lovely week and would definitely return.

This is a hidden gem at an amazing price (which I’m sure will only rise as more people visit/ find this hotel). This isn’t a “brits abroad” hotel and has a great mixture of nationalities, mainly European and a few quiet brits (I’m a Brit myself and would not travel to a “British” hotel).
Should be higher than 3 stars. I believe it recently had a renovation and they’ve done a superb job, very modern, current and instagram-y. 5 minute walk to the main “strip” of Argasi. Food from the buffet is really good, can get a bit samey I. E breakfast, 2 meats, 2 fish etc however for £800 a person we didn’t mind eating out some nights. Had a poolside BBQ on the Saturday with traditional pork and chicken gyros which was amazing!
Entertainment every other night was great, mixture of traditional and singers/bands, the commodore up the road had DJs most nights however is a dated hotel but you are able to use their facilities.
We had a swim up room which was lovely and was a free upgrade which means it was even better. Would recommend upgrading if you can as main pool closes at 6pm which we found quite early.
The iced coffees are amazing, some cocktails not so great but loads of options to choose from! We loved the cocktail of the month “Blue Velvet Margarita”.
Overall, a great stay and I have traveled to hotel chains such as Royalton, RUI and Sandals. The value for money at this hotel is insane.

Just spent a fabulous week here! Lovely hotel situated not far from the main street with shops and bars. All inclusive food was fantastic. We stayed in a room with out own private pool which was lovely! Only negative we could note was the cleanliness of the room when checking in. The bathroom still had hair in it and the extractor fan was filthy, plus the bed sheets were dirty. Apart from that we had an amazing relaxing week! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again! Thank you!

Booked this hotel last minute with TUI. When we finally arrived after a 9 hr delay. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist. Checked in very easy. The hotel had set up some food for us because of the delay which was very nice of them. Lift didn't work. Thank God we were on the 1st floor. Room was lovely, bathroom a bit small but it was ok. Clean and towels daily. Food was hit and miss. Even though we paid for All inclusive, we found that we ate out in the evenings because the food was just ok. There was not enough sun beds to cater for all guest. But found that some guests were putting towels on about 4 beds, but only using 2 at a time, so that they could swap when the sun had moved. Which was quite irritating, selfish and annoying. Because of this for 4 days we went to the Skyfall Beach bar and sunbathed there, which was lovely. The staff were really nice and could not do enough for you. Food and drinks were delicious. Staff did nothing about it. Entertainment was ok, loved the Elton John tribute act. Very entertaining. Our cleaner always asked if we wanted to change our bedding, but I don't see the point really, I don't do it at home, so why would I ask for it to be changed daily here. Zante is a beautiful island and the people were so welcoming. But after paying 1, 700 for our stay is was definitely not worth it. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had wonderful days and the staff was very sweet and took great care of us. These people work so hard, we have a lot of respect for them. The woman who cleaned our room every day (room number 309) was super sweet. We had nice contact with her and she made sure that our room was clean every day. The food at the hotel was also delicious! We didn't lack for anything and had a great time. In short, we can 100% recommend this hotel to everyone.
We gonna miss it there, but we Will leave with a full heart <3

Just had 2 weeks in this hotel, cannot complain about anything! Food is fresh, well cooked, lots of variety, whole salmon, king prawns, amazing Greek salad! Desserts are perfect. Choice of sun beds from comfy bed type ones to normal positional sunbeds, there’s a choice of being able to sit in the sun or have shade — we did both. Staff keep the whole areas inside & outside clean and tidy.
Very modern, stylish hotel.
Excellent choice of all drinks, staff will make any cocktail / drink you ask for.
Lots of activities to do on the island, we hired a scooter, quad bike & own private boat & got to see the whole island & it’s beauty. Some perfect snorkelling beaches if you venture out a bit.

This is most certainly not a 4 star hotel, 3 star at best. Rooms are spacious but bathroom very small. Shower over the bath, be careful of the water from the taps, changes from warm to cold to red hot with no warning. Room cleaners very unregulated. Cleaners came one day 17.50 to clean our room. The food is the same thing every day, and if you are not there when it opens you will at best be heating Luke warm food. Drinks are OK and good coffee machines. Sun beds very basic for a supposedly 4 star hotel, also 50 percent of the beds are in the shade all day. The one lift in the hotel is filthy, I have seen cleaner public car park lifts. Entertainment awful. The acts are in the dark all the time. The one act, an Elton John Tribute was so bad he was brilliant. Will not be coming back to the Admiral.
