Review of IONIAN SUITES 3*

As this was our first time visiting Corfu, we researched the area quite well and chose to stay at Bruskos Hotel due to it being a friendly family run hotel. Although the hotel is not on the main strip it is in very close proximity to it. We were not disappointed. We arrived in the early hours of the morning to Bruskos and were given a very warm welcome by our host Irini. Although we experienced some difficulty with our luggage by the transport shuttle Irini and Haris our hosts immediately went out of their way to ensure this was resolved for us. Exceptional. Throughout our entire two week stay at Bruskos, Irini, Haris and Kostas made us feel so welcome and as if we were part of their lovely family, I shall miss them very much until our return next year. We had a One Bedroom Apartment overlooking the beautiful immaculately clean pool which is surrounded by olive and lemon trees, it was a wonderful view. Our apartment was cleaned daily by housekeeping (who were very friendly and thorough) our bed linen and towels were changed daily, replaced with lovely fresh clean ones. Nothing was too much problem and everything was kept immaculately clean. Nearby there are picturesque tavernas and beaches, the Malibu beach is just a 5 minute walk away and the main strip about 20 minutes walk away where you can find plenty going on including a variety of watersports and boat trips around the Island. We dined out at a few restaurants but our favourites were Seagulls, Malibu and Kaffessos. Although for the majority of our stay we ate at the Pool Bar Restaurant at Bruskos and the food was just perfect. All meals were homemade and lovingly prepared with fresh produce including Irini's tomatoes, olives and herbs… delicious! A must try, my favourites were the Bruskos pizza, homemade burgers and greek salads. We also indulged in a few cocktails at the bar expertly made by Theo who went out of his way to provide a truly unique experience. Highly recommended. Overall a wonderful holiday with exeptional hosts we shall definately be returning Thank you so much Irini, Haris, Kostas, Theo and Sandy… highly recommended.
