It was a spontanious Trip to Crete. We found this Hotel (Iliana) and we not regret it. The price is unbeatable. Breakfast is really cheap and you have a really good choice. Thumps up. Everything in the Hotel is clean you feel very comfortable at this beautiful Hotel. The stuff is helpful, friendly and courteous. The Location is great near to the Beach and to the small cute village Panormos. Thank you for having us here. Your sincerely Sofia and Marvin.

Visit this place!?!, … The most pleasant stay I’ve had in ANY hotel over the past few years and that includes five star hotels I’ve had nights at in London, … This really shouldn’t be a two star hotel, … It should be much much more!, … Again like many other places I frequented in Panormos a family run establishment owned and operated by a lovely couple Andreas and Eleftheria, … My hat is off to you in regards to getting everything spot on from the rooms to the pool to reception and many many more things up to and including their staff and the sweetest and nicest room maids, … 150 metres from the beach and a 150 percent the best hotel in Panormos!, … I leave this place with a heavy heart but with an indomitable will to return, … All that’s left to say to the Iliana family is Be lucky, be safe and Bless και η αγάπη και η αλήθεια οδηγός σου… Χχ

This hotel is amazing! The owners are lovely people who cannot do enough for you! The staff are very polite and very welcoming too! I highly recommend this hotel and you won’t be disappointed! Iliana hotel is a lovely small hotel family run. We have been spending 6 weeks there for the passed 15 years Panormo village is the perfect place for a quiet holiday and very good tavernas ones to visit are the Fanari Kastros Mackis & Limni beach.

Just returned to Devon after an amazing stay with Andreas and his wife Elefteria. This was our first time and we are definitely returning next year. Friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble and definitely a sense of humour! Our apartment was spotlessly clean with everything you need for a 2 week holiday. Great location. 5 minute walk to supermarket and beach and charming tavernas. Huge thank you for making our holiday a wonderful stay. See you next year!

Nice little quiet (if not caught by the raging neighbours) Otelchik. This hotel is the second time, last year-17 days and this 26. A lot of Russian families with children. For a long period from 2 weeks to a month.
-There is a working electric tile (in the room apart plate with oven) and all the more or less necessary utensils (the knife was only bread, they do not cut anything, had to buy a normal), in the morning calmly can cook porridge, and soup too.
On all sites in the description of this hotel it is written that cleaning every day, BUT! Cleaning time in 3-4 days, every day only trash endure. There was no soap under the bed. That is, wash in a zone of visibility. And then the cleaning as… The floors were washed and bed changed, dust does not wipe. The balcony belonging to the room also does not wash, only that with access to the pool.
And the wish to the hotel-once you imagine the kitchen, it would be nice to put a sponge for dishes, a rag for the hands and dishwashing liquid.
And it would be nice to have a washing machine in the hotel, at least for a surcharge, but it is necessary. Children are constantly getting dirty and have to wash their hands
The hotel is generally cute and pleasant Andreas is a good fellow, very friendly! And cons is so, bugs.
Useful information:
From Palormo you can get to Rethymno (30-40 min), bus runs every half hour, ticket costs 2, 60 €/person in one way.

Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Rooms perfect with all you need. In the centre of the village so easy to stroll to beaches restaurants and shops, all within easy reach. Super place for a holiday.

Very nice hotel. I recommend it to everyone for a relaxing, family holiday. The room has a kitchen area with utensils and equipment, air conditioning, hair dryer. There is a small swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas on site. Near shops, taverns and three beaches. In the port of Panormo is a great beach for young children! There is a parking for cars. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Andreas! I liked everything!

My sister, Lynda Hyatt Bosworth and I decided to go to Panormo very spur of the moment. We were delighted with this small town and so pleased that Andreas had space available last minute. From our first encounter we knew that we had met a warm and caring host that was very open to answering all of our questions, giving us suggestions regarding restaurants to dine at while in his charming town. The hotel is perfect: spotless rooms, cozy and inviting and simple free parking adjacent to the hotel. We liked the town, hotel and restaurants so well, that we came back a 2nd time after having been in Hania. We will return and we cannot thank Andreas and Elefteria for their warm and gracious friendship and excellent suggestions and driving and parking directions :) to 2 women who suffer from sense of direction challenges!

Fantastic 1 bed apartments and studios with a swimming pool. Towels/linen provided and changed every 3 days. Hot showers, A/C and comfy beds. The manager and all the staff are so friendly and always happy to recommend local places to visit.

First class place for the money! All the staff v helpful and close to everything including nice beach and tavernas. The Wi-Fi is adequate and the aircon was OK in the heat, and is unrestricted.

This is a small friendly hotel. The hotel manager Andreas is just so good at his job. As has been said before he comes around the pool area with ice pops to keep you cool and also gave us a complimentary bottle of lovely Crete wine because he felt our time at the pool one afternoon had been disturbed by tradesman doing repairs. Every morning he speaks to you and is asking how your stay is going if he can get you anything. You certainly don't get this at the bigger resorts. The rooms are cleaned daily with clean towels given too which is lovely. The pool is wonderful, small but very good. Rooms are spacious with everything you would want to get you by… including a hairdryer, free safe and air con too! Will most definately book here again. I am very impressed indeed with everything about this little hotel.

Hotel Ilianas is just perfect for a nice stay in Crete. His central position in north of the island with quick acces to the national road is ideal to go and back in each crete's place in one day.
The rooms are big and well equipped, cleaned every two days, the swimming-pool and externals are cleaned every days with water…
The managers, Andreas and his wife, are also very nice, very welcoming, always at your listening, and good advice to organize your stay in crete.
Hotel Iliano is situated in Panormo, a small port, with all you need for quiete hollidays, with tourism and rent car agencies.
We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Iliania… thank you!

We have here almost every year for the past nine years. The apartments are spacious and cleaned daily with towels every second day. There is a beautiful swimming pool and the pool area is always clean and tidy. Cooking facilities are simple and great for making breakfast. We ate every night in the many local taverns out. Panormos is a quiet village with friendly local Cretan people. The beaches are fine. There is a good bus service to Rethymnon, but a car is necessary to see the island.
