We are having a wonderful time on our holidays here with my daughter and grandson. The staff are extremely nice, and well trained. The food has been wonderful. The 1 bedroom villa with private pool is an excellent way to spend private time with your family. Spacious, clean, and fun with the pool. Highly recommend!

This is a beautifully built resort that blends in well to the surrounding landscape. It caters well for families as well as those wanting a quiet escape or retreat. The spa and wellness centre is superb. With spacious and tastefully decorated rooms, numerous restaurants and bars and plenty of beach and pool areas to sun yourself you won’t be disappointed.

A fantastic stay with attentive staff in a beautiful location. Nothing was too much trouble and our three year old was very well catered for. Special mention to Evi Sikovari at the Beach House and Paulina of the beach waiting staff who made our stay extra special.

Beautiful resort nestled in a quiet, private cove. Lots of areas to hang out in — gym, fitness studios, extensive spa, three pools, four restaurants… not to mention private pools in every villa and suite. Staff are very friendly and always say hello. Great facilities, including cars, runabout tender (boat), water sports equipment and yoga studio.

What can I say apart from amazing! Beautiful hotel and grounds. Amazing views. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff! Nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you Daios Cove for a brilliant first trip! I am certain I will be back one day!

Definitely worth a stay in this hotel, though a couple of days. Chic rooms with private pool. Very cool seafood restaurant. Magnificent beach with bulk sand and in the bay, so swim is always comfortable and neither the wind nor the waves will not interfere.

DAIOS COVE is a luxurious 5-star resort in Crete with its own private bay. The entire team on site is very courteous, friendly and reads every wish from your lips, so that you feel comfortable here from the very first second and can relax perfectly. The complex impressed me with its architecture and its modern interior design, so you won't find that in Greece otherwise. The food — and beverage offer also convinces and reinterprets Greek ingredients and recipes with international influences. Given the understated luxury and privacy you enjoy here as a guest (most rooms, suites and villas have their own pool), you understand well why so many VIPs holiday here. My conclusion: I certainly wasn't there the last time.

Great hotel with top service. Even the standard double-zimmeg offers plenty of space and due to the construction of the hotel everything is quiet and secluded. The service in the restaurants and rooms is top notch. Especially recommended is the stay in a villa with breakfast in the Ocean Restaurant and free food and drinks in the villa and on the beach.

My husband and I just spent an incredible week at daios cove — we went for our babymoon — early May is a perfect time since it isn't too hot yet, but you can still enjoy snorkeling in the cove. The food was delicious every day, and our room was beyond perfect. Looking forward to going back in the future!

Very friendly staff — nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room (they all have sea views, but get one higher up on sixth street and above for a nice view of Agios Nikolaos lit up at night). Nice pool, quite crowded beach.

Loved this resort. Private beach, large resort with 10 types of rooms with a view of Dario’s Cove. Staff were always friendly and helpful and we agreed that the buffet breakfast and evening meal offered a great choice of real quality food. Just marvellous. It’s a lovely resort and lots of families chose it — so the pool and beach are always lively.

A great hotel where you can really enjoy your holiday. The buffet was always tasty and the staff supernice. The whole pleasure of course also has its price, even if one has to say that this hotel is more preferred by families with children. And as you know, that's not everyone's business.

A great facility, the food would not be cold and the beverage prices completely covered.
We had a great room with a wind-proof balcony and terrific view. The complex is spacious and, despite the many beds, there are only a few others, except at breakfast and dinner.
The artificial beach is clean, unfortunately the umbrellas are very close together.
A bottle of water and a table drink to the HP would have been desirable. Definitely covered is the cheapest glass of wine for €8.
The buffet is often cold.
For a stay BB unconditionally recommended!

Unique Hideaway in private bay! One of the best addresses on Crete. Very relaxed atmosphere, great beach, great sea. Excellent service, very good food and special excursion program, eg guided Landrover off-road tours or excursion with the yacht.

This place is simply amazing. From arrival your met by concierge with a cold flannel. Your taken to look at the view over the resort which is stunning. Then taken to check in where your greeted with a refreshing drink. Check in was smooth. We were then taken by golf buggy to our room. We were lucky to be staying in a one bedroom suite with private pool and a huge terrace. The suite was amazing. And had EVERYTHING you could need. To get around the resort you use the golf buggy system or the funicular system. The golf buggy drivers were so friendly especially manos who was so good with my son. The resort has a brilliant kids club which my son loved going to. The food at breakfast and dinner was 5 star such a great variety and all to a very high standard. The early dining system for children was brilliant. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from agios nikaloas. The hotel has free parking.

Beautuful resort, friendly staff and lovely room with a spectacular view of the sea and surrounding mountainside. Probably the best buffet food I have ever had in a hotel in terms of quality and variety. However, the a la carte restaurants were fairly pricey even for a five star resort and in particular the alcohol / wine. But, overall would recommend.

Wow… just wow. Approach this place with absolute confidence. The hotelier has architected a property that stands out as a base for a Grecian experience that delivers value in so many ways. A beautiful property in a spectacular setting, great facilities, sparkling Wi-Fi connectivity, inspiring views and a team of people so nice they nearly had to come home with us.

It's nice, but very expensive for what it is. The rooms don't really match the price in style — and privacy. Getting a pool room means you share a balcony with a small partition which doesn't block smoke at all. On that — there's smoking everywhere in the resort, even the kids club garden has ashtrays. The only non smoking bit is inside — but who wants to eat inside for a week on holiday? We changed rooms to avoid the chain smokers next door, but can't help feeling that for a room that was £700 a night + rack rate, discovering that the suites and villas have their own more luxurious breakfast in the nicer restaurant (nobody else is allowed) becomes hard to swallow. The beach is the best place for shade if it's windy as the pool won't have their umbrellas up — but access to the beach with a pram involves 3 flights of stairs. Overall it says family friendly but it kinda isn't. Unless you don't mind your whole family inhaling smoke whilst you eat, the kids club feeding them sugar and having random guests walking freely through the garden to access the main building through their rooms — therefore less secure. They also tried to give my 1 year old a boiled sweet — not sure who wouldn't know that this is a choking hazard. The buffet half board restaurant was basically the same thing every night, and below average food. Very conference centre vibe which is why I wouldn't want to eat inside. Definitely nowhere near 5 stars. The nicer restaurant had better food for sure.

Very nice facility, very friendly staff. Half board is completely sufficient with a delicious, varied buffet. Only point of criticism: Boutique and extra restaurants extremely expensive. Almost only young couples and families with children travelling, very relaxed atmosphere.

We spent a wonderful 10 day holiday at Daios Cove. The staff is really nice, always with a smile on their faces. The structure is fantastic, well placed in the surrounding environment. Having a little girl of almost 2 years, we chose this resort especially for its beach, truly a paradise; We never had a problem finding free parasols.
The buffet restaurant is very good. The dishes are of excellent quality and quite varied. The room staff is very friendly and attentive to all needs.
Nothing to say about the room — he reflected our expectations.

Facilities were great. Private Outdoor pools ok but not worth it. Beach has pebbles not sand. Staff very attentive in the hotel, a bit slow in the restaurants. Buffet was large but not what I would expect for a 5 star. It was bland and a bit boring. Quite repetitive. Otherwise beautiful. One point worth mentioning that if we didn't have a car, I would have felt too isolated.

The rest is new and in a secluded location above a Bay with turquoise-blue sea. Beautifully located and maintained top. We had a one bedroom villa near the sea. With private salt water pool and garden. Just absolutely gorgeous and relaxing. The half board food was good and varied, and the service is very friendly and helpful. All in all a very nice holiday. Happy once again.
