Super friendly nice rooms the food is very good. Lots of choice and very tasty. Complex is nice and quiet. Here we come. N again.

Pleasant staff despite the small language barrier for Francophones.
Location of the hotel is beautiful and 400 m being from a sandy beach, the hotel has a pontoon to go down to sea directly.
Small water park very good for children.
Restaurant and food more than ok, clean and fresh.
Some rooms look a little aging but it is ok and clean.
the hotel is not huge so it is ideal for families with small children.
There is really a way to have a good family holiday for a very reasonable price for the service offered.

Very bountiful place and confirting, we have a very nice esperince, people very friendly and king.

Me and my family had the most wonderful holiday here and very special memories have been made! Perfect location! View from the room was fantastic (see photo) Easy to access the town (five minutes walk along a lovely pathway with gorgeous sea views) the town had so many amazing shops, 10 minutes walk to the sandy beach — beautifully warm sea! Theo was the most amazing member of staff by far — he went above and beyond for us! My only complaint would be the bathroom needs desperately updating — shower is very small and the bathroom is also very small, so needs an update, but the staff, food and facilities made up for that! 10/10 🇬🇷 Best holiday I’ve been on in 5 years! 🥰

The staff very friendly fortunately because this is not the case of the management… the bathrooms are to be redone and the pontoon to access the sea would need a good refreshment.
The restaurant is very limited in dish.
this hotel deserves 3 stars and is very far from the 4 stars.

Nice place by the sea. Animation ds the nearby town. Three swimming pools including a very quiet and especially for the more adventurous tobogans! The staff is top professional. The rooms are very decent with lz most sea views.

The outdoor facilities could be better maintained. The small ponds were without water, although fish swam in them. The beach, if you want to call it a beach, is not suitable for children at all. Not even for me as a mother.
However, I find it quite awful that every day the loungers by the pool and in the slide park are covered with towels. In other hotels in Crete, these towels are rigorously removed.

A big thank you to Theo. Well-placed hotel. Lack of cleaning in the rooms I find.

Beautiful View! after we had a lovely room, we paid for 6 days for a nice room with a view of the sea 36 Euro! Food was okay for Vegans and vegetarians very much to choose from! Disadvantage of my boyfriend is not a pig, too bad the veal was unfortunately only once a week! what is not but The Pools make to 8:30 p. M. But all the people crouching as early as 8 am in front of it to fill with your towels are! Are barely there and you can't lie! much Too Narrow for all of the Pool is too small. Dirty he is, too! Staff is super Nice and very fast in the clear! Got mine all the time because they really have a lot to do! Disadvantage still from 10 p. M. To 11 p. M. There is no drinks for Al! Pool bar has still to everything to 11 only!

We came from 12 to 19/07 and have spent a very good stay! Les + : hotel is well located and close to all the roads and bus stops, warm welcome, staff friendly and helpful, food good and varied at every meal and opportunity to eat very healthily, room correct functional and clean, air co in the room, flat screen TV and one channel in French, but it is adequate, fridge in the room, bedroom furniture functional, towels and sheets changed regularly, clean hotel in general, nice pools and maintained, small shop in the hotel open late diversified and not too expensive, pontoon to go in the sea at the bottom of the hotel, service wellness proposed by the hotel, with a lovely view of the hotel, good music in the bar day or in the evening, a small path behind the hotel that leads directly into the city. The — : The curtains are not darkening so it's unpleasant to sleep and not very relaxing, the snacks in the afternoon are not very varied and healthy (French fries), the drinks in the all Inclusive very little variety and not very good, no entertainment day or night in the hotel, a bit of a pity that there is no bar near the pool 2.

We have just returned from our holiday in Crete. We spent 10 days at Horizon Beach and had a very nice time. Highly recommended is the very beautiful view of the sea. The staff is also very friendly.
What struck me is that many people think "All Inclusive" doesn't care. Take food mountain by and then half stays and wanders into the garbage. Which also annoys the staff very much. Every single employee does a very good job. Many thanks to the entire hotel team and a special greeting to Theo. We'll be back.

It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel. Room was clean, in good condition — cleaning everyday. Beautiful views, good connections.

Good value for money but not great luxury.

I stayed here 7 days at all inclusive (3 meals per day, 1 snack bar and local drinks), in room 7xx
First of all, the photos from FB and website do not show exactly how the hotel and facilities are. When you book the room with seaview (seaview costs an extra 30 euros) they do not tell you in which building are you staying, in the one with the reception that has facilities for 4* or in the building from the back (where I stayed) with facilities for 2*.
I hadn't neither seaview, neither gardenview, just 2 trees in front of my balcony.
The room furniture from the back building is old and the room was smelling like the window was not opened for 1 month. There was mold in the bathroom, a dirty and tarnished old shower curtain, an old wardrobe with a bad smelling blanket in it, an empty fridge (I was expecting to be goods in it for I would pay at the end of the holiday), twin beds (this is what they understand by "double room"), no shower gel, just soap and shampoo.
When we tried to discuss about the beds and the facilities at the reception, they told us that is the room we booked and they have nothing to do about that. The holiday was paid in advance…
The local drinks were absolutely disgusting, without taste, both "beer" and "juices".
The bathroom ventilation was not working and the bathroom window is on the hall, near the entrance in the other rooms.

It is amazing for swimming cos of the pool in the back and it has massage chairs and also eat as much as u can breakfast dinner and lunch the rooms are so nice and comfy u also get ur own hairdryer! The bar is open after 10:00 to 12: 00 and free drinks and food I love it thats why I gave it a 5 star.

Classic Ridge Hotel Complex: Multiple lots of rooms swarmed over a large space. A restaurant dedicated mainly to the "all inclusive" tourism of the available swimming pools and numerous sunbathing in self-service access to the sea on a rocky coast. A pontoon allows to bathe in peace of mind very helpful and available.
Buffets for meals of good quality and varied.

Very picturesque and attractive place. Great view, mountains and sea.

Budget hotel with very good food. The grounds are small but well kept. 2 swimming pools. No beach. Stones. You can swim from your own pier. But there is a beach in a 5-minute walk along the sea. In the neighbourhood of the Eighth Corps-the construction, from it a heap of dust and rumble. Unpleasant. The furniture in this case is old, mattresses at beds are bad. Only for it-4 stars. If we lived in other buildings, where it is rumored that the situation is better, would appreciate the hotel for 5. It is necessary to understand that this estimation from the position of price-quality. For the money that we paid for the rest (by modern standards-a little), the hotel is very decent. By the standards of the neighboring Na na Beach, much more expensive, all simple. But here the principle "how much paid, so much and received. " And in the case of Horizon money is not pathetic. And you can even go back again. Staff-friendly, contingent of holidaymakers-decent. The beer is delicious, the food is also. Crete is magical. KRA-co-TA!

We just checked out Yesterday. The Hotel is dirty, there are bedbugs. The Smell on the grounds is unpleasant. There is a construction in front of the balcony, but in the boutique inhabit. Food on C grade. No Beach.

It was a nice holiday especially the staff was very nice.

No hotel beach. All inclusive drinks from 11 — 11pm, but unpalatable. No tables free with meals. No loungers free by the pool, so definitely too little available. Towel shortage, therefore received only 1 towel for 2 people. On demand, reception staff become very failingly unkind. In the shower, the curtain sticks to the body, which does not prevent the underwater setting of the complete bath anyway. The view of a stone wall was not the most beautiful either. Fridge broken, demand was ignored.

One of the prettier places on Crete. Two bus stations to the west or east and one is in the middle of life. Hotel as such is highly recommended, even if it is a bit too quiet in the evening. Sadly overpopulated by Poles and Russians. The food is very good and varied, even if it gets cold too quickly. All inclusive in terms of drinks not to take seriously, includes only soft drinks and typical beer and ouzo.

We had a week of family vacation at the top! Really beautiful view! Clean room and cleaned every day. Pleasant staff. I recommend this hotel!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent. Drinks are usual local.
Kitchen-hungry will not remain.
I woke up in the morning with a damp stomach. ) ) always meat, fish, but the chicken is rare, once every three days.
There are swimming pools. Adult and children.
The beach is absent, it is necessary to take a car and to drive to other beaches, or to walk 20 minutes on beaches of neighboring hotels.
No beach towels, take with you or out of the room) The view is chic, the rooms are full, we asked for a change as many old location buildings are remote, up to the life of 35 minutes on foot this is Hersonissos, to Mali by car 10 minutes Wi fi is very bad, is timid at No people in the restaurant and reception staff pts friendly.
If you are not finicky and are going to spend 80% of your vacation in the study and sightseeing, then you are definitely here.

Good location (close to beaches, pontoon, pedestrian walk to the village) but unpleasant environment during our stay (work next door: noise and dust)
The pool would have won to be heated at this time!
Clean room but not comfortable bed, not always hot water in the morning in the shower room, and poorly soundproof (near road)
Restaurant at will but monotonous (same choice every day) ; available all day snacks and beverages/coffee, rather well.

3 star hotel only worth 2! Good location by the sea but very poor room (uncomfortable mattress, very limited bathroom in cleanliness! )

Lovely Hotel. The only… The hotel Area is large. There are pools, restaurants, its own beach.
Three meals a day, all inclusive. Even local alcohol.
There were no Animators, but we organize our leisure, so it did not disturb us.
The Staff is lovely, courteous. The Cleaning is quality. Daily.
All very highly recommended!

After reading all bad reviews there must be some fussy people out there? Fantastic views easy walking distance into stalks only downfall was the evening meal? Not for the English? I would definitely return back to the horizon hotel.

This hotel is on the shore line and is facing the sunrise!, the building there are pretty old and unattractive, the crew is very warm and the view is amazing. Pro's — close to a side walk, great food, the staff service is great, Amazing view, quick access to the sea. Cons — Beds at the room are awful!, air conditioner is really old in all rooms, they changing towels every 2 days, bad Wi-Fi connection, snack bar has no verity, small old TV (not flat), Luggage room is wide open for every one. For the end 4* hotel that feels like 3*, the quality is not high but the staff & the attitude make the difference. The view is amazing and the food is good, but all for all I won't visit in this hotel again. There are many hotels nearby that worth checking.

Very nice hotel.

Large hotel with a family run feel providing a full board type accommodation. Copious amounts of food catering to all tastes with a good amount of 'Greek' type food. Lovely friendly staff make for a thoroughly pleasant holiday.

A great hotel with a very nice view of the coast, especially at night time. Good food, rooms are great, just air conditioning was a bit bat not always working. Sadly you have to walk to a beach about 1-2 kilometers, the nearest place you can only dive in sea is from a footbridge, it is a good if you can swim very well but if you can't and just want to walk into the water not so good. The staff are very helpful. Sadly all included includes just beer, native rake drink, brandy and soda drinks and wine. Cocktails are not free.

I stayed at the Horizon Beach Hotel in June 2017. The staff were amazing and a special thanks to Harrys, Theo, Manos, Bambis and Angelo who went the extra mile to make my stay at the hotel very enjoyable. We had a lovely spacious room with a sea view balcony. The hotel was very clean. The food was plentiful and at every meal there was a very varied choice. I would definitely stay at this again and I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Crete looking for a reasonably priced hotel on all inclusive basis.

A very nice and cozy hotel. Nice rooms (in the new building). The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is perfect (probably the best in the area) with a magnificent view onto the bay and a very nice access to the sea, where there are good snorkeling possibilities. The food is good, however the drinks could be better. For drinks, there is a nice place nearby: IRIDA CHIC (2 min walk) where you can get very good wine and spend nice time with live music. All in all Horizon Beach is a place worth recommending.
