➜ If you are looking for a well-located, clean, much more than just friendly guesthouse with spacious rooms, modern bathrooms and rich breakfast, the "Forsthof" is just right. We were only allowed to enjoy the hospitality of Petra and Erhard in Maishofen for 10 days. And on the jammed long journey home, we asked ourselves: Was there anything negative to complain about in the "Forsthof"? The answer: NOTHING, but nothing! We really felt very comfortable from the first minute. Petra runs the guesthouse with heart and makes the best breakfast every morning! Homemade jams, lovingly prepared cheeses — and sausage plates, fresh vegetables finely sliced for nibbling, various egg variants every day, ham from our own production, a sweet homemade surprise every day and much more!
The rooms are very clean and, the proximity to the main road is by no means disturbing, as hardly to nothing gets through windows and doors. The towels are changed almost daily and every day there is a different "bed hopper" on the pillow. The best were the two small glasses of "rainwater" on the table, very tasty!
And which guesthouse already has a travel guide including how Petra's is… She knows the area like her own back pocket, always has a good tip at her disposal without being intrusive.
