Considering the price, this hotel is perfect. The rooms are very clean, bright. The bathroom is immaculate. Breakfast served until 11am is full. The manager speaks French. So I would recommend this hotel without any restrictions.

Beautiful hotel, quiet location, very friendly staff. It's a little off the mountain, but that was ideal for us as we had a rental car. The food or breakfast is rather mediocre, even special. I would still mention that the beds were really uncomfortable hard. But despite all this, there are 4 stars of us.

Been going to villa mare Monte for over 10 years now it is such a lovely place to stay and relax.

This hotel is definitely highly recommended! It is very nice located on the mountain, just outside of Malia. The staff are very friendly and have fresh fruit (figs) in the morning at breakfast, in addition to the existing buffee. We also took part in the barbecue evening, where there was a large selection of food. We have also met people who have told that they are always traveling to this hotel and I now understand why!

Relatively expensive compared to the prices on the island. Breakfast is extra. The furniture is dilapidated and the apartments poorly equipped.

Nice and relaxed for Malia, somewhere to get away from the hedonistic bussle. The only downside is the hill.

Beautiful Mountain Scenery, Great Swimming Pool, Peaceful and Quiet. Bedrooms are very clean and well looked after. Food is amazing. Staff are absolutely amazing, go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and well catered for. Can help book restaurants, activities, tours, anything in Greece! Plus they British too! Catering to all nationalities.

We enjoyed our vacation in Villa Mare Monte. What a wonderful little and quiet place with familiar atmosphere. And the hosts are truly amazing!

Very nice Hotel. We had a beautiful apartment with a view over the whole of Malia and the sea. Very friendly staff! Pool area with Mini-Golf and Pool Bar.

Our room was great and every day the beds for us have been made and everything cleaned!
The staff, especially the owner, is super friendly and you will be recorded as in a family. Every day there is a very varied breakfast and evening dinner for 12-15 Euro p. P is provided. That is of course included in half board. The situation because you don't is a dream that you get with the whole noise of the party mile is so close to the town of Malia on it. But to reach the nearest supermarket, taverns and the sea within walking distance anyway.
The pool is clean and invites you to linger on the concern.
We would go back here anytime! the farewell is difficult.

I think this has to rate as one of the best hotel experiences I've had. It's a great family hotel. The manager and staff are great and lovely and it was a really sad time having to leave. It's nice and quiet and you could easily spend a whole day just at the swimming pool with no hassle. The rooms are great and the cooking facilities are good as well, even though we never made much use of that. We were treated like family and will definitely come back.
