Hotel welcoming and relaxing, well placed and oriented. Friendly staff and attentive despite the language barrier.

Only small downsides: the bathroom a little small.
Air conditioning for an extra $5 per day.

We had a wonderful stay at Romantica. They are really good hosts. We highly recommend their apartments. Its just a few minutes walk to the beach and some good taverns. We d definitly come back.

Very nice service and a great pool, only little far from hersonissos of you dont have a car or scooter.

It's a very wonderfull hotel, the rooms are warm and spacius and a nice vew. The pool is great you can relax a bit there while not site seeing. The family that run the hotel is very warm and welcoming, they help with anything they can and they are more than willing to give advise on what is worth to check out at crete. I have enjoyed evry moment there!

Wonderful place to stay, quiet and peaceful, yet very near to local tavernas and simply stunning restaurants in which to eat. Views amazing would not hesitate to recommend, we hope to return.

Great location — — only 15 min away from the beach! Malia is only 10 min away by car for those who want to party! If you want to try the delicacies of Cretan cuisine the traditional tavernas are a heartbeat way. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The stuff is very warm and makes you feel like you are at home.

Beautiful serene and in the midst of nature, yet close to the beach, the bus stop and the clubs. Perfect for a holiday! Returning soon!

Big uphill slope to get to the hotel, without a vehicle, it is sunburn and sunstroke insured. At first, home, it's rather pleasant, the receptionist smiling, who agrees to answer all questions. The discovery of the room, it is spacious, nice view of the pool. Bathroom smells foul, very quickly flooded and without carpet, with a chance to slip and fall backwards. Air conditioning extra (5 euros per night), the towels stained, the TV absent, but announced as being on request (which is totally false, you might just be attacked by the owner of the premises to the very limits) and neighbourhood very noisy to sleep, it will be to do it during the day). I do not recommend and I will not.

The location is perfect! It's still in Hersonissos, yet far from the madding crowd. But if you want to feel the buzz of the city, it's hardly a drive down the road. The beach opposite the apartments is small, but very interesting. A sandy beach with a little cave. Although quite rocky around, it makes a great collection of rock pools. The apartment we had was the one on the ground floor. It was just perfect for us. We loved the pool. It's beautiful and not too deep too. My kids would make haste for the pool every morning! We would have breakfast (and any other meal we have at the apartment) on the patio facing the pool. It's priceless getting that relaxed feeling. A glass of wine (or raki! ) by the pool watching the sunset, whether the kids are in the pool or not, is something I'll never forget. I didn't want it to end. Katerina and Manos (and Katerina's sister), were wonderful hosts. Katerina will give you plenty of information for wherever you want to visit on Crete. I felt very comfortable with Katerina from Day 1! When we left, it was like leaving a friend. It's things like these that helped make your holiday very special, very memorable. It's one of the best holidays I've ever had. And I have travelled to many countries around the world.

Excellent value for money, ideally located, 1 km from the beach and 200m from the village, pool nice and room clean and spacious with nice view.
