I honestly don't think that you can get better than this in Koutouloufaris. The apartment was extremely beautiful and so clean. The design of the garden and apartment is amazing. Breakfast was very good with only traditional food. Staff is amazing too… super helpful all the time. 100% recommend… few steps and you are right in the middle of the town where everything is happening.

Except from the wonderful hospitality and the amazing service, mr. Manolis was very helpful and polite, and he managed to make my dream come true. My Big day was perfect and I couldn't thank him enough for it. The rooms were magical. My guests from Kalymnos and Australia were speeches and satisfied. The old house was so much better than I expected it to be and I am every grateful and happy for that!

When WWe arrived there was no one to welcome us and we had to find our own way.
Not very nice… Never ever in my whole life I had such an onfriendly feeling when I arrived late in the evening We had a very dark appartment… One very tiny window and ther were growing weeds so no daylight. The poolbar closed at 16.00 hours just the time for some drinks.
No icecream or whatever by the pool…
Around the pool you good not stand on bare feet… The stones were hurting. We went to this place approximately 28 years ago and then it was older but much more happines in the park… nice music… Poolbar was always open…
This time I had the feeling that it was a club for very old people…
Anny from the reception was a very nice and friendly woman… She was the only one who was really nice. The last day we had to leave and the reception was closed and our suitcases were still inside.
They promised us that there should be someone available at 17.00 hours so we good take our lugage on time.
At 17.30 hours thete was still no one to unlock the reception…
At 17.45 after our call there came a jongmen walking very slowly to us… Didnt even day sorry for being late and opend the door.
Didnt even say bye to us when we were leaving. This was such a unpleasant feeling to leave like this.

Friendly helpful staff basic accommodation in a lively little village. Lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. 15 minutes walk to the beach again with lots of bars cafes and restaurants. Lovely place to visit traditional local food.

A hotel of the powerful "Diamond International" chain in Koutouloufari, Crete. The location is ideal and it has been recently completely renovated (2013) Possibility to book as a time-share or directly with them. There are lots of shops, restaurants and a couple of bars there to cater for all customers needs. Also the nearby Orion Rent a car does free airport transportations on 7 day rentals and up.

We had a great holiday in this charming hotel. The room was clean and we had an amazing view. In the evening there are a lot of options for dinner and you can have a nice walk, but back in your room there is no noise. You can sleep perfectly in your comfy bed.

Staff are so helpful and friendly facilities are great and at this time it's lovely and quiet (October) the village has everything you need without going far and the excursions are very well organised.

Wonderful setting quirky apartments very peaceful accomodation and central for all the fantastic restaurants and bars.

This hotel is a piece of trash, first the lady at the front office smokes her lungs out instead of helping us, the office closes so early so that if you have a question it can't get answered. We booked a excursion to Santorini and the lady at the front office said that the bus will pick us up at 6:45, we woke up at 5 in the morning to get ready and the bus never showed up we waited there for an hour. The massage lady's are extremely not nice. When the lady gives you the free 15 minute massage it is only valid one freakin day it's so fake. They are only valid the first day. If you come to Crete don't stay at this dump because it is not worth the money, AND DO T BOOK ANYTHING WITH THIS HOTEL EVER IN YOUR LIFE IT SUCKS Even a dumpster is better than this place STAY AT A BETTER PLACE Don't expect any service in this place the only nice thing is the location that's all. you deserve better.

Right in the center of the village with everything in close proximity, a well situated and designed resort with nice units containing the necessary contents and surrounded in plenty of green even though in the urban space. The pool is a fine but lacking a paddle pool for very small children. Enjoying our stay and can certainly recommend.

Clean rooms with beautiful views. Koutouloufari is a Greek village near Hernossiss, a larger beach town. The village is very cute and filled with British tourists. The Village Holiday is about a 20 minute walk down/up a large hill to the Hernossiss beach. To get to the nicer, cleaner beaches on the other side of the port of Hernossiss it is a 45 minute walk up/down the hill or an 8 euro cab ride. The beach on the western side of Hernossiss had beautiful beaches where you can rent a chair and umbrella for the day or just bring your own. My biggest complaint with this hotel was the way the staff tried to sell us over-priced services and excursions whenever we asked for any kind of help. I get that many people working at hotels are working on commission, but it was kind of frustrating. Additionally any time asked for directions we found that the time it took to get places should be doubled or tripled. We did break down and do a day trip to Santorini that we booked through the hotel which I would not recommend. It's a two bus hour transfer to Herkolion (a town just 20 min away), then a two and half hour ferry ride. More long sweaty bus rides in Santorini then the ferry back plus bus. Small pool for too many people. Pool closes at 7:30 pm. Small cafe with food until 5:30. Wifi only worked in part of the room. Must book hot tub, sauna, and laundry in advance. Beautiful views from balcony. Very clean. Kid friendly. Nice little library of used books.

Lovely, clean and quiet. Perfectly located in the centre of Koutouloufari. Food in the pool bar is delicious!

This place is just perfect for a relaxing holiday. Quiet and peaceful. Very clean indeed. Apartments are well equipped and free air con and free Wi-Fi. The food in the pool bar is delicious.

They saved the last part of our holiday with an extreme last minute booking quite late in the evening last Saturday escaping a dreadful hotel we had booked. They were all very kind and helpful. Very responsive as well. The place is well run, clean and welcoming. We had an apartment close to the pool with a sea view. The rooms were well arranged and furnished with everything you need. Everything was clean. We loved it! Thank you to the team!

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Rooms are adorable. Located in a cute little village with great views and plenty of shops and restaurants. I will happily go back again and I will choose them if I'm ever staying in Heraklion again. They do have parking, it is down a narrow alley. Don't bring a large car (if you happen to have one on Crete). A small sports sedan was about as large as you can fit on these village roads.

Great place to relax, well maintained & serviced, friendly & helpful staff. Couldn't have wished for a more chilled atmosphere. Great location away from the hustle & bustle of the coastal strip & tourist hoards! Car is an absolute must if you want to visit the area and get about to see the sights. Would recommend without hesitation. Thanks to all at the Village for a great holiday! See you again one of these days.

It's nice, clean, well kept. Excellent location to reach the sea (also on foot) or the main street of communication of the island.

Difficult to reach if you do not have the navigator. The typical streets are narrow and moreover the sea view is limited by high voltage cables and parables. Nevertheless, the residence has its own private parking, the rooms are air conditioned and the pool regenerates from the daytime heat. Reception is open from 8:00 to 20:00

Fabulous and quirky accommodation in a beautiful village! The staff were really friendly and most helpful.
Lots of unspoilt little lanes to explore with great views of the mountains. They have private parking if you hire a car which we did, we found it to be a delightful place and would recommend for those that don't mind hills and steep banks.
