Artemis Apartments Apartment

This is an awesome place in a great location. Our room is set adjacent to the bar and pool area and on the top floor and we haven't had the need to hire the air conditioning yet as we get a decent cooling breeze from the coast. The staff are very friendly around here too as are the clientele. The food at the bar area has a small menu but it's decently priced to have a meal if you just want to rest.
Just a word of warning though. The windows open inwards and be mindful if you put cases underneath. It's caught me out twice and the second time I done it it left me with a deep gouge on my head. Good job I'm bald as it may have been a trip to hospital.

Definitely will be recommended here such a friendly family run place. Food is great rooms very clean and great craic with other quest. It's one big happy place. It's our first time and we will be back xx thankyou x.

Such a great place. We first went in 2014 and have just returned from our second two-week visit (Aug 2018)
Artemis is defined by Sotiris and Ava and their children. It's their home as well as their business, and that shows. DON'T GO to Artemis if you want pampered luxury. There is no spa, no hairdriers or telephones in the rooms, no disco, no posh restaurants, no room service, no mini-bar, no crowds of guests who don't speak to each other, no slaves, no endless sales pitch. … There isn't even Wi-Fi except around the bar and pool area. DO GO if you like basic, clean, well-run accomodation, peace, freedom and friendly people. The bar is open whenever you are, and serves good quality snack food (pizzas, BLT, egg & chips, burgers, salads etc. ) at decent prices, if you can't be bothered to go to any of the many nearby tavernas. The sheer number of repeat visitors tells you all you need to know. We've met people who have been back year after year. And yes, its a good idea to pay the extra for aircon during the summer! We'll be back, of course.

We have just come back from a 11 day break. I cannot tell you how amazing this place is. The family that own these apartments couldn't do enough for you. The food is lovely especially the greek salad and the beer YAMAS. The greek night was everything that you could expect and more and if you are a socialable person you can make some amazing people that you can call friends. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Just got home and we are really sad our holiday is over!
I went to Artemis with my parents and we had the best week!
The family are so kind, funny and welcoming!
The pool is crystal clear, the apartments are clean spacious and well equipped! The other holiday makers are lovely and felt more like family than strangers!
My dad and Sotiris became great mates!
We will be returning next year and would recommend it for everyone!

Just arrived home after a fab holiday in crete. We booked Artemis apts based on the reviews we read about this family run business. I cant rate this high enough, Poppy and Sotiris were great hosts and very welcoming. I am a foster carer and have 3 special needs placements who also came on holiday with myself and my husband along with my daughter and grand daughter… They made life so much easy for us allowing everyone to eat and drink what they wanted and placed it on our room tab and I paid at the end of each evening. Rooms are basic but who really wants to cook or watch Tv when on holiday "NOT ME" thats for sure… We will 100% return next year… Many thanks for a great time xx.
