L'hotel è senza dubbio molto bello, con tanti servizi, la piscina, la spa… La stanza è grande e ben insonorizzata, il set di cortesia comprende praticamente tutto eppure pensavo qualcosa di più: la pulizia non è perfetta forse a causa della moquette datata che la incupisce. Comunque è perfetto se devi prendere un aereo presto.

The room is large and well soundproofed, the courtesy set includes almost everything but, yet, I thought something more: the cleaning is not perfect, perhaps due to the aged carpet. However it is perfect if you have to take a plane early morning.

What's not to like? It's greatly located for travelers with an early morning flight. The service was impeccable. Food at the restaurant was nice. The receptionist I met was kind enough to speak slowly to help a guest with less fluent English, which I want to see more often. Only if the pool was less deep…

What a great hotel. We stayed on the executive floor and loved the lounge and free breakfast. Being a frequent traveler and foodie I can honestly say you will find no better breakfast buffet anywhere. The staff was professional and nice. They all seemed to speak English well and even dealt with me trying to speak Greek to them. If we fly into Athens again I can almost guarantee we will be staying here.

The airport location is convenient for next morning flights. Aside from that I'd suggest a stay somewhere else as you pay a premium for the added convenience. The hotel was more modern than most we visited while exploring Greece. The rooms were plenty spacious for an overnight stay and included most of the standard amenities. The room did not include an iron or ironing board but neither did any of the other hotels we visited while in Greece. The shower, with ceiling mounted rainfall shower head, was spacious compared with the showers of the more rustic locations outside Athens. Due to the airport location the view from the room window was less than stellar and there was no balcony. The bed mattress was too soft for my taste and had a dip in the middle. The lobby restaurant was offering a buffet the evening we stayed and the food was good and varied. The service was decent as our drink orders were slow to come out. I would only visit this hotel again if I had an early flight out of Athens.

For a beer while waiting for the departure of the plane to Paris. Nice proximity, nice setting, ordering by the rank leader, service by an intern apartment and waiting for glasses of water almost until the end of the meal…
Price for two beers, a bottle of mineral water and a club sandwich 38 € 50! Not to mention the price of the parking for a little more than an hour… €8…
It is too expensive, especially for a ' local ' when you know the price for the same thing at the water's edge, about 11 € 50 with well-sure free parking and a magnificent view… Long live the holidays… Away from the Sofitel except for the Americans!

Amazingly quiet for the location. No plane noise at all, nor traffic or other people. The piped music in the hallways was perhaps unnecessary. Staff were nice. Bed linen was great. No English channels other than news, and static reception on all. Room was a decent size, and the separate wc to the shower was handy. It's not cheap, but not unreasonable, for what it is.

So for Greece this is extremely expensive, yet you get no decent Wi-Fi. 350 euros and don't try streaming, can't do. Avoid Greece to be honest if you like any kind of reliability over anything. Amazing stuff.

Big class! Unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy it enough. Arrived late and departed early the next day.

We went here years ago and still think about it. The accommodations were wonderful. The staff were wonderful. The French restaurant on the top floor… you wouldn't believe was in a hotel but it was extraordinary.

This hotel has very friendly and helpful staff, lots of amenities and is across the street from the Athens airport for easy access to your flight. All facilities are top notch and well maintain.

A very luxurious hotel with a high quality free buffet. The best and the worst is that it is next to the airport. With the windows closed you don't hear anything and you can sleep perfect.

Right next to the Athens airport. The interior is slightly aged but still well kept. Staff are professional and friendly. The restaurant opens 24 hours.

Beautiful Hotel. There are all the services you could want: swimming pool, sauna, gym, spa… The breakfast is princely, there is everything and more. The rooms are very large and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Really a pleasant experience. Breakfast is served from 5.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Great option if you have to catch an early flight. We were offered a free welcome drink in the cosy bar.

The Sofitel is located right across from the airport. We checked in online, so all the necessary things were already prepared at the reception. Very good organization! In the spacious double room there was everything you need for a short stay. The bathroom was equipped with the care products of Lanvin. The room was clean, very quiet and the staff very friendly and helpful. We are very happy to return.
The city centre of Athens is about 30 km away and can be reached by taxi €40, Metro €10, or bus X95 for €6 per route.

Very nice, very convenient, very quiet. Rooms are spacious, up to date, clean, and well equipped. Staff is very courteous and professional. There's a good 24-hour restaurant, and a bar open afternoons and evenings.

The hotel offers half day rate. Great for a same day layover. The restaurant is good and there is a nice outdoor smoking section. The location is fabulous and the rooms are very nice. Free Wi-Fi. My only gripe, the window didn't open.

The room that we stayed in was very nice with large comfortable beds, an enormous shower, and nice decor. The staff was helpful, reminding us of the day light saving time change and providing a power converter to use during the stay. This is a great place to stay the night before an early flight out of the Athens airport. We would definitely stay here if ever in Athens again.

The rooms are amazing. Access to the airport is just 100 meters away. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The hotel lobby does not have enough sitting area for guests to relax. Nice bathroom and separate toilet. Suggest to have a hand wash basin in the toilet. We had a relaxing stay.

It's a great location and has clean rooms. It's a little dated, but I really didn't like how one of the receptionists snapped at my wife rudely after a simple question. Kind of put a damper on our last day in Europe.

A very nice and elegant hotel. The rooms are a little small but it's right across from the airport so still very convenient. Guest that book a luxury room get access to the 8th floor lounge which has complimentary drinks and snacks.

Great hotel after a long flight. Beds are very comfortable and showers have endless hot water. Easy access to the airport, literally walk across the street to the terminals, they do have half day rates, great for getting a little rest before/after your flight at Athens.

This hotel is amazing. The rooms are gorgeous! The pool and the restaurants are awesome! The staff is the best. They are pet friendly and extremely accommodating! Even though we only stayed 1 night I can't wait to come back to Greece just to stay here again!

Stay is wonderful ❤ friendly staff, room service is exceptional, awesome amenities. We arrived a couple of days ago and love it! Adjoining rooms for the kids a plus Great dinning has lots of options. Great way to end a beautiful time in Greece!

The hotel was very nice. The room was clean. Check in and check out was really efficient. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast is also very good, very wide selection. The metro and bus stop are right next to it. So it's very convenient. Athens is a little bit of a hike but if you some time is definitely worth it.

Bad experience, we wanted to take two coffees at the table outside, despite urging them twice after the order after 3 hours we left because we missed the flight without receiving the coffees. Bad treatment.

Excellent stay. The rooms are clean and big. The bathroom with the shower or tub option is nice. There's a small indoor gym with some weights, a sauna and a indoor pool which is quite nice for those hot days. Located directly from the airport so it's very convenient especially for those early morning flights.

A surprisingly upscale airport hotel! Room was clean, cozy, and vibrant. If you're lucky enough to have breakfast included with your room, do not miss it! The breakfast blew my mind.

Very short over-night. But extremely helpful staff, with a whole lot of luggage, and as usual a supremely satisfying sleep experience. I rate this very highly. Sleep in foreign places can be a bit of a minefield. Full marks to Sofitel Athens for a deep, sweet night.

Being there in the business lounge for professional reasons, this place looks really good. Very polite stuff.

Rooms ok. Don't know about restaurant but the bar food is very average for the price. My chicken wrap was just a lettuce and carrot sandwich with a light touch of chicken. I've had better for £3 in a sandwich shop.

This place is really good. The staff is really helpful and expert in what do. To be honest I wasn't expecting this level of quality at an airport hotel. Rooms are clean and pretty posh. :)
