We only arrived yesterday and feel like family already. It’s a busy area but the rooms are quite and comfortable. Everyone here is so friendly and the rooms with a view of the Acropolis are amazing. I would stay here again.

Excellent hotel with huge comfortable bed. Our only minor complaint was that the soap dish in the shower was a wire mesh that let shavers and bar soap to drop through. Very expensive drinks in the rooftop bar restaurant area. Other than that a top notch place to stay in Athens.

In my opinion this is definitely a 5 star hotel. It’s a fantastic property with a wonderful team of people making sure your stay will continually exceed your expectations! We were continually impressed with everyone we met at the hotel and their professional and gracious services.

First of all, the service was absolutely horrible. I have been to many hotels before and have never experienced such disrespect. This is my fourth time coming to Athens and the last three times I have came I have stayed at the President Hotel and have always been super pleased with everything at that hotel. This year I decided to try the Hilton and I am so disappointed I did. These high end hotels are a joke, all they want is your money they do not care about anything else. I dropped some liquid on the sheets in my room by accident and called housekeeping if they can come and just change the sheets for us since it is impossible to sleep with the mess that was made. When the lady from housekeeping came she looked at me as if I was stupid and she kept sighing all while slamming everything possible while changing the sheets. Do not recommend.

A historic luxury hotel in Athens with a great view of the Acropolis from many of the rooms. The palatial lobby and accompanying shops and restaurants enhance the majesty of the hotel. I have stayed here twice in 2007 and 2018 and the quality of the hotel remains the same high level. If your budget is not an issue, stay here when visiting Athens.

Service not reflective of price. Of the 6 hotels I stayed at in Greece 2018, the Hilton experience was the worst by far. Service was 2star at best with a 5star price. I am still in disbelief how they could charge 7Euro for a glass of milk, which was for my three year old daughter. Every other hotel refused to take money, My experience also included 40Euro a day Valet, but you had to park your own car. Waiting 23minutes at a pool bar table and the only reason someone came up to us was because we requested to speak to a manager. Having to carry our on luggage down because help nor trolleys were not available. To add insult to injury this was how we spent our last days in Greece on what was otherwise a perfect holiday.

We had such a memorable stay here. All the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. Eleni (from Executive Lounge) graciously upgraded us to a suite to make room for the baby cot. Eleni & Christina and other staff at the restaurant were amazing. The reception staff (and the EL staff) guided us for our day trips and local sights. Very family friendly in the heart of Athens! Highly recommend to anyone traveling with Children!

When visiting Athens this is the perfect hotel. Location is great and the staff are very polite especially those in the executive lounge. Say hello to Dimitri while you're there. He is a great guy and pointed us in the direction of where to go and what to see.

During the arrival experience you are greeted by very helpful bellmen that will help you with luggage and where to check in. The lobby is grand, filed with tile, high ceilings and open spaces. My room was very large and faced the pool and the Acropolis. The bed linens at hilton properties are very high quality and extremely comfortable/breathable. My only critique was that the shower temperature kept changing from cold to hot in continuous cycles. It was very annoying.

Great place to stay, when you walk in the front desk area wad bright and inviting. Our room was recently renovated adding a very retro look. The view fro. Our balcony was an amazing look at the city. All the restaurants served yummy food and provided 10 plus service. The roof top bar had a stunning night time view with music and a DJ. The spa and pool provide all I needed for some down time. I needed a few extra things. House keeping wad more than happy to bring anything to me I nerded.

Classic Hilton. Not very nice. But the service is amazing. Staff really great. The rooftop bar with view on Acropolis is to be done.

The restaurant Atherion was absolutely fantastic. We had a platter of cheeses and cold meats and a side of avocado and hummus. The avocado was unripe, but tasty nonetheless, but the Hummus was lacking in salt. The wines were excellent yet pricey. Service was quiet and reserved but polite. Prices are steep, but the quality matches them. (By the way, Saturdays at about 7-8 in the evening is a perfect time, it’s quiet and peaceful! ). Overall, a great experience.

Amazing Hilton property. Great fitness center and convenient location. Galaxy restaurant has great food and views (sunset) of Acropolis were fabulous! Locals like it as well. Great patio, must check out Galaxy even if not staying there.

I give it three stars because the prices of restaurants and room service are much higher than what corresponds to the country and the chain.

The Galaxy Restaurant and Bar from the 13th floor is spectacular. Very good cocktails and the view over Athens it cuts your breathe away. The price are higher than other places, but the view is worth it. The music is also very good. I definitely recommend this place!

Great service. Nice rooms. Location a bit far away from all action. Anyhow walkable distance or short ride by metro or taxi/uber. Nice view. And really Acropolis looks great from hotel. Anyhow the hotel is just on crossroads of 2 busy streets. A lot of nice and due to this swimming in external pool might be not such nice as it could be.

Worst experience ever before it even starts! We are loyal H-honors Gold members for years & Our vacation is this coming summer. we booked our room with our free nights and points, (obviously because regular money rates are super high) then due to unclear instructions from Hilton agent about max occupancy policies at the time of reservation we were required to book an additional room for our kids which we eventually did. We also CLEARLY communicated our early flight arrival and need of early check in and we were told our early check in request will be granted for a fee and we accepted that. Later I received an email to find they misunderstood us and gave us wrong information … and that we have to pay an additional night for both rooms for such an early check in (which they already knew! ) “Sorry for the inconvenience “ is all they could say! Many back and forth international costly calls and they would NOT carry their own misunderstanding and offer any make up or solutions… Lastly communicated H-Honors for 2.5 hours chat and they couldn’t help either saying hotel has to settle that! Obviously their current rates available now are ridiculously high and now we’re stuck with trying to find another cheaper nearby hotel & messing around overnight with a lot of luggage and 2 sleepy kids! Totally not Hilton standard of care and big SHAME on Hilton name!

We did not stay at the Hilton, but I did want to acknowledge the amazing service we received! We were in need of a printer to print our flight tickets and the exceptional front desk associate was more than welcoming, saving us €55 each. Thank you so much for having such a polite and delightful front staff!

Walking distance to the Acropolis and a great view from my room! Executive floor has an excellent lounge and the room was spectacular.

A very nice and cozy hotel. Was here in January with my work, as part of a conference. Am almost sad I didn't get to spend more time at the hotel room, which was well furnished, very clean and with a lovely balcony. The location seemed to be very central and was with the most lovely view of mountains and Acropolis. There also seemed to be a good selection of restaurants close by, thou I didn't really have time to try them out. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and full of choices, and the cleaning was spotless. Water prices in the minibar was crazy, but that's probably the same thing everywhere else. Didn't have time to find a mini market. And that was just to find something "negative" to say. I will definitely recommend this place :-)

Only two stars because the service is great. But the room is not nice to be a luxury hotel. The bar in the room is scarce. The value for money is not right. The area is close to the center but not the best.

Hotel is beautiful (inside). Staff is incredibly helpful and courteous (most of them). I came with my children and was bummed to find out the outside pool was closed. However; we were very happy to find out they have an inside pool. After paying (yes paying) 15 euros per day per person to use the pool, an attendant then made us wear shower caps while swimming. Totally bizarre. Try making two 8 year olds wear a loose fitting Granny’s shower cap in the pool. When they fell off a couple times the person working there demanded that they get out if the shower caps came off again. This totally ruined the 5 stars they would have gotten from me. Way to almost make little girls cry. Kudos.

Great hotel, with half the rooms facing the Acropolis. They are also spacious and well-equipped. Good facilities for business events, outdoor and indoor swimming pools and gym.

Many extra payment services (Wi-Fi, Indoor pool…). The breakfast was very good.

Very good services, everything is super friendly but the traffic noise was heard in the room which spoiled a bit the ambience. Reason I only give 3 stars. Other than that, nothing to say. The staff were very nice and welcoming, very good food, seen on the Acropolis from the room, and large pool.

An emblematic hotel in the center of Athens. This will take into account the meetings that take place in this hotel. It is a great hotel with excellent modern decoration and clean spaces. The staff is courteous and willing to serve you all with a smile. The meeting rooms are quite large with comfortable seating and a good acoustic. The food is very delicious and it is definitely worth visiting for a meal or a stay.

One of the better Hilton properties I have ever stayed. Got upgraded to the Concierge level, fantastic breakfast choices included, and quite substancial hors de œuvre choices with a hot dish, sides, salads, sandwiches, fruit, cheese, wine, etc. Centrally located, next to the Metro. From Athens Airport take bus X95 and get off at Ilisia stop, right in front of the hotel (just cross the street with care, is a busy intersection!

Beautiful hotel in the city centre of Athens. Has the best location for business, leisure, city break or a resort feeling. With the amazing outdoor swimming pool and bar, and the spa, you really feel like you are in a resort in the middle of the city. The Galaxy Bar and Restaurant on the roof of the hotel is a must offering the most amazing views over the beautiful city.

A real Five star house with a huge pool in the middle of the city! Great view of the Acropolis which can be reached on foot in twenty minutes and by taxi a little faster. The prices for the underground parking are outrageous, but everything else fits. Recommended is a visit to the bar on the top floor, especially when it is dark — the view is breathtaking!

Very good hotel. The parking can be expensive but the facilities are nice. Gym and indoor pool.

One of. The. Best outdoor. Pools in Athens. Well maintained and very clean. New owners have spruced up. The pool area with new comfy. Sun beds and smart umbrellas. They. Have also given it a feel of an Oasis with large pot plants and lights. Service by the pool a little slow but the Lifeguards are very helpful and keep order. At busy times.

Hilton looked after us very well. Great location. We took an upgrade that have is free breakfast and light dinner. Staff friendly and competent.

Very well maintained hotel with nice rooms. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Rooftop bar has the best view over the city of Athens, and looking directly at Acropolis. A great place to get a drink and watch the sunset. Overall a very satisfying experience.

Facilities were nice, but I had an issue with my flight getting moved up by a day, and the Hilton staff gave me the run-around about not being able to cancel the last night of my reservation. Staff referred me to the Hilton honors telephone line, and the Hilton honors telephone line referred me back to the hotel staff in an endless loop of nobody being able to actually help. At the end of the day, I have no idea if my last night will ever be refunded because I had to leave the hotel to catch my flight with no resolution.

Oasis pool bar and swimming pool are just great. Been shocked due to changing bath towel color from dark blue to dark Grey, even for the sun umbrellas. Hilton hotels chain is international but Athens Hilton has been always "dressed" with white-blue colors, as to its "Greek identity". Extreme shocking to see one day red towels and umbrellas in the pool (according to Turkish co-owner) or even its Hilton flag changed into red. Staff professionally behaving, good services and ambiance in its space.

This was our second visit to this hotel. Always get friendly service, good advice, and great accommodations. We shall be back again for sure.

Great location. Close to majority of the historic sites. Massive hotel. The staff were helpful in recommending places to go and to eat. 3 pools. A bunch of restaurants inside to choose from. Difinately would come by again.

Perfect place in the center of Athens.

Overall it's a good hotel and good location. But while we were there July 9-12 this year, the executive lounge was chaotic! too many people and too little seats or food to accommodate, and some are standing during the happy hours! very under manpowered and the ladies working there were running non stop. Yes it was high season, so this should be taken into consideration.

Wi-Fi did not work for most of the 3 days, I had to reset my card to the room 3 times because for whatever reason it did not work after few hours and you often have to wait a long time for the elevator. On the flip side food is good, the location is okay and rooms and the premises are very clean. The bar on the 13th floor has an amazing view.

The bad: We were in the excutive suite. We heard the ongoing music of the Galaxy Bar late at night in our room as we are trying to sleep. Taxis in Athens Greece our notorious for ripping off tourists, especially Americans, and to have the hotel use their taxi service costs extra 5 Euros. Other good hotels charge half this. You epect to eat at the resturants in this Hilton expect to pay 7 Euos for a soft drink. Hotel makes you sign a wavier that you will pay 12 Euors when you borrow an umbrella and not return it. No other hotel has this policy and just let us borrow one. It takes a long time to get service at the front desk. Our card did not work at first in the elevator to access the executive suite. Seems this place is a rip-off and farther away from the attractions. You probably want a hotel closer to the attractions to avoid using taxi drivers that scam tourists or end up paying 5 Euros extra to use the hotel's taxi service. The was the worest Hilton we stayed at due to service, even compared to other Hiltons. We just tried to order a pizza and this is the only hotel that asked me to wait downstairs for delivery. Only after complaining, did they agree to have the doorman call me when they arive. I asked about who deliveres and they gave men the number to Pizza Hut because they don't know anywhere else! They could not even research other places that deliver to help us out. All the other hotels did this why not the Hilton which is the most expensive one?

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The gym is small, but well-equipped and the customers there are also quite friendly. The lobby is stunning, the pool is huge, the breakfast is amazing (though the price is quite steep), the decor in the room is quite good. If you have the option to upgrade to the executive rooms, I would seriously consider it, as you get breakfast, access to the executive lounge, and dinner all included for an additional 90 euros per night, which isn't bad if you put 3 people in one room. The hotel is located close to the bus and metro stop and is about a 30 minute walk from plaka/ parthenon, so it's quite convenient.

I stayed over here for 3 days but I am unhappy with their some kind of services. Very poor Wi-Fi service. It's located in easy accessable area of Athens. Easily you can connect with metro stations. From here you will have good views of Acropolis of Athens.

Great hotel, but seriously marred by 1) having to pay outrageously high daily rates just to use Wi-Fi in the room and 2) a dodgy minibar set-up that automatically charges you for drinks if you accidentally touch them (eg to put your own water bottle in will activate several drinks purchases and you don't find out until you check out)!

Anyone booking a room for a view of the acropolis beware of two large construction cranes right across the street which block the view. The hotel does not inform you of this even when you specifically asked for a room with this view which you pay more for.

Fabulous hotel, of considrable price that disappoints in matters quite important today, You sell it with wiffi, and has only in the common areas after a lot of steps. If you want to wiffi real you have to pay 30 and more per day. Taking into account that it is a pretty hotel focused on business travel, it seems to me a little bit sad. Everything else at the height of a Hilton hotel. Breakfast fantastico.

This hotel is one of the best in Athens when it comes to room size and ambiance in all areas (lobby, restaurants etc. ). Everything is spacious, renovated to an elegant taste.

The aesthetics of the hotel are very nice. It's very striking, and it appears to be a really nice hotel. And it is. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While it has the appearance of a really nice hotel, it operates somewhat as a budget hotel. Everything has a charge. Upon arrival, I was allowed to check in early, which I appreciated. No charge. However, once I made it to my room and contacted the desk for my Wi-Fi password, I was advised that I had to pay €20/day for Wi-Fi. I was told that I could access complimentary Wi-Fi in the lobby. While inconvenient, I didn't find this too out of the ordinary, just slightly expensive. It was until the following day when I tried to access the gym that I was told €15 per day to access the gym. That, I had never heard of, and thought out of the ordinary. (I believe these fees are waived for platinum honors) For a hotel that already charges a premium, I think it unwise and tasteless to charge these extra fees. I'd rather really stay at a budget hotel or splurge and stay at one with more taste.

My Hilton experience was enriched by visiting this hotel. As I traveled on business again I picked the place because of its proximity to Deutsche Bank to avoid wasting time in long drives. I was glad to find the onsite restaurants were sophisticated enough for business dinners as well.

Great location. Easy to reach the airport. Stunning views of the Acropolis and parts of the city. The restaurant was expensive but the food was delicious. Clean room and big enough. The staff at the lounge was very courteous and helpful. Would stay again.

Room was clean, although the floor seemed a bit dusty. We were disappointed to not have bathrobes in the room by default (and this is an expensive Hilton), and didn't bother asking for them. An iron and ironing board are in the closet. Dry cleaning facilities are provided, but at €14 for a pair of trousers, it's a bit much. A safe is provided. The mattress is incredibly comfortable (COCO-MAT, we checked). There is NOTHING complimentary in the room, not even water. A small bottle of evian is left on the table and labeled at €6.50, and the mini fridge has special sensors, preventing you from refrigerating your own water. Wifi is available for €18/ day. Utterly ridiculous, especially as this hotel has many an agreement with companies (including where I work) for business travellers. We spent our first night in Athens at the Hilton, and on our return from Santorini purposefully chose to stay anywhere but there. Service was great, but everything else was so ridiculously priced (a cocktail for €20? Wi-Fi for €18? A Club Sandwich for €30? ) that we were constantly compelled to step outside for the smallest thing, ultimately making the hotel unwelcoming. All these prices are visible on their website, so we did know about them. Chose to try nonetheless, and I am not sure we'll be going back. Great for one overnight stay, if you don't need internet, want an excellent breakfast and a quick dip in the lovely pool before moving on.
