A great place! I found all I needed at Somewhere nice: a delicious breakfast to start the day, a very reliable Wi-Fi for my job, all the good advices to go here and there, and the pool and bar to rest after a busy day in Accra. But the best for me was the kindness of the team. Special mention to Hassan, Chi-chi and Leticia, who really made me feel at home.

This is truly some nice place to be — with lovely staff, a beautiful environment and spacious rooms — I could not be happier. Moreover, I love the eco-friendly concept that permeated the whole hostel. 10/10

The hostel has a nice and relaxed atmosphere, rooms are spacious and this was even the only place in Ghana where we had both a working AC and shower :P Filtered water offered is highly appreciated and breakfast is lovely, with pancakes, fruit and some dishes that change each day. The garden has a chilled out atmosphere and is nicely decorated. We didn't use the swimming pool as the water was not very clear. A few days later we were in a remote area without internet access. When we called the hostel to reserve a room for a few days later, all they could say was that we HAD to use booking. Com or send an e-mail (even though this was not an option for us). This was extremely unhelpful and a large contrast compared to our initial good experience.

A really chill atmosphere with delicious breakfasts, a swimming pool, and relaxing places to hang out. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Geoffrey who remembered me from the last time I was here, four years ago! Thank you.

Somewhere Nice is really nice and comfortable and welcoming and has the greatest staff I´ve ever met in a hostel! everyone is friendly and helpful and you can really relax in this Accra oasis.

Somewhere nice is best hostel ever in Ghana that I could recommend to all travellers, Somewhere Nice is a hostel were you could feel like home, incredible breakfast, nice pool always clean, free Wi-Fi, guest kitchen were you can prepare your own meals like home, friendly staffs that always served with smiles, comfort and relaxation beds, A/C that works all the time. One more thing that I cherished about somewhere nice, staff were fast in fixing of any damage that reported to them that will always keep them as nice as they are.

Fantastic atmosphere with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The common areas are spacious and the pool is clean and well looked after. Bar offers food and mixed drinks and the regularly changing guests keep the place feeling interesting and new. Can't recommend it enough.

Very nice places Central in Accra walking distance to Nima about 1 hour walking distance to art center. The service was very friendly. The breakfast was also amazing and filling. The rooms are modern and simple. Our twin room was a bit small for the price but everything was ok and manageable. We enjoyed our stay a lot and recommend the somewhere nice hostel especially to backpackers and younger travelers!

Somewhere nice is just what the name implies. It's somewhere nice. It has a homely feel contrary to the typical hotel feel. And the staff are very friendly and hospitable.

A lively place with eco-friendly facilities. They offer a lot of vegetables as well during breakfast. There is a swimming pool with a large screen television inside.

A fantastic, really friendly place. I stayed at Somewhere Nice for a weekend while working in Ghana and ended up going back two more times since it was so relaxing and welcoming. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the powerful, hot showers are such a treat after weeks of washing from a bucket but best of all, the breakfast is out of this world. My last day in Ghana, I got food poisoning and had to be out of my room at Somewhere Nice by 11am even though my flight wasn't until 10pm. Bernice didn't just let me stay for no extra cost but even gave me her own room to rest and recuperate in. This sort of extra-mile hospitality is extraordinary and one of the reasons why, if I go back to Ghana, Somewhere Nice will be first on my list.

It's nice, but there is NOTHING nearby. no cafes, restaurants, etc. Kinda expensive single rooms ($50 USD, normal for Europe, but not for Ghana) 10 bed dorms are $25, but still… that's a lotta ppl in one room…

Somewhere Nice hostel is the best hostel ever I have been, breakfast is extremely super, swimming pool and smart internet is bonus, all the room has air-condition, ceiling fan, friendly staffs, easy location area, not far from airport also there is many intertainment places are close to Somewhere Nice hostel, in all, you will find values of your money.

Reliable, safe, cute place to stay at a fair price in Accra (which otherwise is quite expensive). I've stayed here on multiple occasions, and my experience each time has been very shaped by other travelers. Cross your fingers you get a friendly, respectful crowd! (And beware that cigarette smoking is extremely frequent in the common area. )

Nice afordable hostel for travelers, clean, good breakfast. The place is not far from the centre. Only thing is the mosque near the hostel which wakes you up every early morning.

Staff is very friendly, the complementary breakfast is delicious. The Wi-Fi, a rare commodity in Ghana, also works well most of the time. The only improvement would be the dorm beds, which could use thicker mattresses.

Greeted with a smile and a helpful hand, I could tell upon entry this was not a typical hostel. I was offered a seat, a glass of water and the Wi-Fi password. A few minutes later, I was shown to my room. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my bags were already there and I could simply relax. The atmosphere was relaxing, the pool was clean and the other guests invited me to play board games and share a beer. If you are looking for a comfortable night's stay at an extremely reasonable price, this is it. Stay Somewhere Nice next time you are in Accra.

A little haven in Accra with nice basic rooms, well-functioning installations, super-friendly manager and staff, a small swimming pool, and great breakfast with pancakes, scrambled eggs, bread, jam, avocado, coffee, housemade juice etc. We are here frequently on travels to Accra and haven't been disappointed.

A hostel for foreigners on vacation.

Hostels in Ghana can be a gamble, this one is the jackpot! It has everything you could want: clean, well-organized, great staff, great prices, great vibe, great common space. The complimentary breakfast is incredible! There's even a pool. I worked up north of Accra for a few months and stayed here whenever I was in the city. The dorms are super cheap and even the twin-privates are priced well below what you can find elsewhere. In my experience, you are lucky to get half the quality for twice the price anywhere else.

Place is quiet, good for relax, swimming pool is available. And Manager Max is very friendly. Very spacious rooms.

I can warmly recommend this place to everyone travelling to Accra. It is a clean and beautiful place and offers everybody the opportunity to calm down after a busy day in the city, e. G by swimming in the pool or just hanging out on the terrace. Max and the rest of the stuff members have been so friendly to me and helpful and answered me every question I had on my first days in Ghana. I really felt comfortable there and always like to remember the good times I had at Somewhere Nice.
