When I saw the hotel from the outside, I thought the house had its best years. But with the entry, this assessment faded. Friendly staff, nice rooms and also a very pleasant breakfast. Unfortunately I didn't have time to use the bath and sauna area, but I'll definitely do next time. In the morning I even received from the reception the recommended jogging running track in laminated version, a nice service.

The house is now 19 years old, which you can see now! The rooms are large and beautiful are the separate toilet integrated into the bathroom. The highlights of the rooms are the lighthouses, which house the mini-bar and the TV. Attached to the hotel is an adventure pool, which makes your stay much easier in bad weather. The staff was friendly, but the integration of "international people" did not work at all. Language barriers and a "different" mentality are the reasons for this for me. In conclusion, a hotel for 3-5 nights definitely recommended!

Nice Family place. The staff treats guests amazing; they even helo you and know how to entretain the kids. The only problem would be, there is no fan or AC in the rooms and in summer, makes it really difficult to sleep.

No AC in any room, even if promised on website. Personnel have very limited English skills. They reply in German even if you ask in English :) The restaurang have a very limited menu.

The location was at a nice hidden spot with alot of parking spots. The overall experience was great for that evening especially the music. The only negative thing I came across to was the fact that the buffet for food was deported after one hour. I was quite hungry after the event finished but that's all.

A competent and friendly welcome, large, spacious and clean rooms. Bathroom with toilet extra, I find great. The staff are very polite and attentive. The breakfast buffet with its wide selection is great. The dinner as a 3-course menu was delicious. For a short break, the hotel is a good choice.

Double Rooms are beautiful, everything very clean. Breakfast Buffet with a wide Selection, including Waffle Iron. Coffee is so lala. Friendly Service, just a bit confusing when it comes to Access to the adventure Bad-/sauna.

Suite booked for one night at the normal room rate. Gorgeous. All around panoramic views and see the sunrise from the bed. Unforgettable.

The Wyndham Stralsund connected to HanseDom Is simply class.
The rooms are beautiful, the staff friendly and always for a fun to have.
The swimming pool is just right for rain days and can be used all day, especially for our little (4-6 years) a lot of fun and also for us top.
The sauna landscape must have been seen, it leaves nothing to be desired.
We will certainly be back.

Good hotel, some service staff should be friendlier. Sauna scenery delightful. Perfect for a getaway. Breakfast and dinner great.

The rooms are bright, friendly and tidy, the beds comfortable. A cover and a bowl were available for our dog. In the bathroom everything is available and functional, unfortunately a bit calcification, which gives an unclean impression. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, very tasty, it is constantly freshly reattached. The staff is very attentive and friendly and is available for any request. Feel very comfortable here and will be happy to come back.

Dinner on Friday good. On Saturday the table reserved by us was awarded and it took 50 min. Until the appetizers and the children's platter came, far too long for small children!

Unfortunately, this hotel does not meet its 4 stars! We have booked a complete package with treatments like massage and these applications have timed the hotel once for us!
In the short term an application cancellation does not even happen, because one of them is then placed in "Extra" Bill!
As other visitors report, it stinks from the taps.
The description of the offer could be written more easily.
I understand from the following sentence: "Three-course menu or buffet of the chef's choice" not that there is one or the other but that the chef decides what it is today at the buffet and one can choose from one or the other!
On the whole, for our honeymoon too bad for the money.
Which is why we even ended our journey prematurely.

Food is great, location OK, room size above average. Cleanliness leaves some corners to be desired. Staff. Overall a recommendation worth it!

Great location for having a social event.

Was with my family there and will never stay overnight in any Wyndham accommodation. The staff is unfriendly, the food can give you a gift and the cleanliness I do not start at all. 1 star I forgive for the beautiful city of Stralsund.

The rooms were clean. Service staff was always helpful. The food in the restaurant was tasty and adequate, had the 3 course menu with greeting from the kitchen. For children there is also food. The breakfast buffet was extensive and tasty. In the hotel's own Aqua Park is highly recommended to relax, as there is an attached sauna and spa offers. Price is right for the entire stay. Extra requests are gladly fulfilled. Would visit again and would also like to recommend it to anyone. Always happy.

The rooms are fine. But breakfast was an absolute full disaster or a full disaster. Far too expensive for the offered! €43 for 2 adults and 2 children. For that, there were baking buns and dry bread. And by dry, I mean older than a day. The fringe pieces were already heavily curved. Happens with us only after 3 days. Grain flakes well. Cake dry. I'd try another hotel next time.

The hotel is really super especially the connected adventure pool HanseDom…
We only had the faucets faulted at the front desk the goods completely germinated looked like in a stalactite cave. After several draws, two taps were made and the one that looked the worst was the one that remained as it is, calcification and germinated.

All in all, we had a pleasant short break with the family. Good food, nice waiter from Poland and as a highlight for the children the swimming pool. Here and there there is always something to improve, but where is everything perfect? Thank you.

I went there for gym class, and although the lockers were a little dusty, it was nice and inviting.

Unfriendly staff and bad Wi-Fi.
By the way: in the sauna one can only be naked and the breakfast was very limited. No recommendation.

Very nice room. The breakfast and dinner was very good. Access to swimming pool and sauna.

The hotel has been in the years and this is visible everywhere. The exterior façade is very dirty which continues in the hotel hallways especially on the carpets. The rooms are very well-equipped with a balcony. The carpet strips are dissolved everywhere. The crowning is the double bed with boards under the mattresses. And is very well located. You get up early with back pain and feel as if you slept on the floor.
The Hansedom is very crowded and very noisy. The staff at the Hansedom is very rude.
If you want to use the sport you have to pay 2, €50 in addition to the €12 per person. We have stayed in many 4 star hotels in Germany and have never had to pay for the bathroom extra. This hotel deserves a maximum of 3 stars and is never a 4 star hotel. The food is average and does not skin any of the stool. We had booked half-board and got vouchers for dinner and that reminded me of a FDGB home at GDR times. Our conclusion: We never go there again. I just marvel at the many positive comments on the net.

Large well thought out rooms. Good facilities. Cleanliness in order. Staff friendly, although sometimes a little stressed. Breakfast very good. Good central location, enough shopping facilities. Free access to the swimming pool and sauna was great.

The hotel was a total reinfall! Very inflexible and unfriendly staff. For the rest it is until 4 o'clock in the morning in adjacent Veranstaltungensräumen party also unsuitable like good shooter.
Call reception to change then maybe at least the room you can save themselves also.

Have only the fun pool in the HanseDom visited and find this quite small. This is probably due to the attached Spa area with various sauna landscapes, as well as the gastronomy. Also a fitness and Sports Centre is available here.

I had a fantastic short break there with my girlfriend. To handle the possibility of a room with bathrobe directly in the Spa/Sauna is class. The Hanse Cathedral offers many opportunities for children and adults for €12. And the food is just the buffee days tip. On demand are many lactose-free dishes.
All in all is hard to recommend.

I'm staying at the hotel!
Unfortunately seduced the great homepage, and not quite reasonable price, to believe that has you as a hotel guest free facilities in the wellness area (not all but a small fitness area or a small sauna). But it absolutely isn't. Everything costs! When you arrive at Hotel but only in the evening, this financial effort is not worthwhile!
The room is awesome! And also the Frühstückbüffee is OK (costs but also 14 EURO… it could be even better).
What is greatly in need of improvement is the menu of the restaurant! There only the Nudelgeericht spoke to me ;-) Everything else seems to be… too bad… have been put together by someone with "only one flavour"

High quality stay, staff improved compared to my last-year-stay. Room service seems to be more efficient and breakfast buffet became marvellous. Now, I do recommend staying here.

The room was clean, if a bit worn. The furniture was also good. The Breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. The Buffet in the evening we were once in place. This evening my wife and our two children is not promised. Unfortunately, there is apart from the HanseDom no further leisure activities in the interior. Foosball table, Air Hockey, pool table, or the like, we would have still desired. Price-performance was definitely there.

Four stars for the marvellous themed swimming lagoon, two stars for smelly rooms and disapointing breakfast. Besides trained staff, the hotel lacks a decent room-key-system. Besides those downsides it still offers a nice stay at beautiful Stralsund.

Beautiful rooms, great service super breakfast buffet. The Hanse Cathedral is also a nice and relatively modern bathrooms. Only the menu in the restaurant was a full bust. But let's hope that was the shape.
All in all, again.

This hotel is simply the star which it has not worth! The staff is very helpful and friendly, but that may make the impression of the whole not really good again. Our room was average, but never 4 star. The bathroom is extremely disabled. Great for people with disabilities, not just reasonable for non-disabled (shower and toilet are motion sensors activated). 15 min wait until the shower water is finally warm (mind you it must be before that otherwise no water running) or uncontrolled activation of the toilet flushing is during use, to expect anyone. The view from the window in the back yard of the Strelapark would have been still to endure shopping centre, since not every morning 5:00 already truck their goods would deliver it. Sleep with the window open is not to think! The desire (specified at the time of reservation) for smoking rooms, or at least a room with balcony was not taken into account. Not too bad but for us this hotel.
Tip: If you book it, necessarily take a room overlooking the HanseDom (are the rooms to rear without truck noise) … we had room no. 215.

Has seen better times. Nice large room. The mattress was however strongly renewed. Sumptuous breakfast buffet.

As a teenager, I was like in the Hanse Cathedral,
but the quality gradually decreases.
I must complain about the following points:
-poor lunchtime cooking in the Interior of the Spa
-Choices of courts only limited and very unhealthy!
-Maintenance and repair will be saved unfortunately in many places
-mouldy-smelling steam sauna in the outdoor area
-The admission prices have exploded as everywhere
Actually, the Hanse Cathedral in sows and Spa area offers many entertainment and recreation facilities. The salt sauna is also a beautiful new way to relax.
Unfortunately, too little is done to maintain the quality of time. What a pity.

There, we had a very nice stay (one week). The location is fine, if you would like to explore the surrounding Baltic Sea in particular submissions. A visit of the HanseDoms which connects directly to the hotel is highly recommended. Spa and sauna landscape are really recommended. As a hotel guest, you get a discounted price for a day pass. At any time, you can with the posted entry the bathroom leaving and later back in at no additional charge. The hotel staff professional and friendly. Our room (standard) had a balcony and a large bathtub. We would go there again definitely. Also next time then again with an external breakfast (€ 18 p. P. ) In the hotel) and dinner also outside (€25 p. P. ) In the hotel)! Small tip for breakfast: 3 minutes walk to the restaurant of the CITTI market. There's a good plate of breakfast including hot drink of your choice and orange juice for 4, €55 ;-).
