Hostel am GÜTERBAHNHOF Hostel

1. Impression: Already at the time of booking I was very friendly and personally advised.
2 Impression: The entire facility of the freight yard makes a very inviting well-kept impression. Here the owners have given a lot of good thoughts. I found the implementation very successful.
3. Impression: The reception was very friendly and uncomplicated. We were offered free of charge a covered storage facility for the motorcycles. Top!
4. Impression: The house is clean and modern. Not uncommon for a hostel, the décor is very spartan. Bed, chair, table, garbage can. The mattresses are wonderfully hard, bed linen and towels were impeccable, even in the bathroom everything was taptopp.
5. Impression: There is also a public bar and a restaurant on the premises. We took the sundowner in the bar and got 10% off without asking for it. We were recognized as hostel guests. For me a very nice sign for attentive staff who care for their guests. In a nice chat we were given tips for the surrounding area (bathing, restaurants …)
6. Impression. After a quiet night we were allowed to leave the motorcycles and thus our luggage rain-protected even after checking out. The stroll through the nearby old town was therefore very pleasant.
7. Impression and conclusion: Super friendly, dedicated staff. Very good location with suitable furnishings. For a stopover in MeckPom absolutely recommended.

Top Service, Clean, Cheap, Highly Recommended!

Good address to stay in Neubrandenburg. Room OK but without TV, but great fast Wi-Fi, large parking and restaurant next door, which is also open daily. Hostelpersonal also very nice and accommodating, so a good alternative to hotels and guesthouses.
I'd like to come back.

A good and, above all, central way to spend a few nights in Neubrandenburg — if you don't expect comfort.
The rooms are very limited to the essentials (high bed, guest room, table, chairs) of this all but in good quality and in very good condition.
Especially with the beds, I noticed how stable they stand. Even with "turning, " nothing squeaks and wobbles!
Socket and shelf board by the bed would have been nice!
Also the bathroom has the necessary three things (sink shower toilet).
Here, too, everything is impeccably clean and also technically fine.
While the price of two people a night of £49 is not a real bargain if you really only get one bed for it, considering the alternatives it's appropriate.
Access to the rooms is unproblematic via a six-digit code, which is unlocked for the corresponding time of stay.
A small flyer on the table informs about nearby breakfast options around the hostel.
Parking spaces are available right outside the door in sufficient numbers. However, these are not included in the room rate and must be dissolved at the parking ticket machine with €1.50 for 24 hours extra.
All in all, it was a good choice for us!

Bad after work without food and TV.

I really loved the location and the waiters were very friendly. The dining room has a nice look and I loved how they put attention on details.

Clean, modern, cheap, nice. Real top.

The check in was uncomplicated payment went smoothly with card by pay lock one comes to the room this was just like in the description.

The first impression on the Internet indicated a good opportunity to stay. Unfortunately, this proved to be a fallacy. The room was very clean and comfortable. Plastic chairs and a heavily stressed wooden table. The beds in the Hostelstyle double stick small and uncomfortable. Cleaned or with new towels, the room was never during the 4 day visit. Obviously, there is no special emphasis on cleanliness during the stay. In my opinion, this is undoubtedly to be expected at the price of over 200 euros. A note to check out is in vain. The staff, if you encountered it, could not provide any information. Hostel NB for us never again.

A great hostel in a great location. City, bus-station are within walking distance. We could even park right outside the door. The rooms are very clean and hosteltypisch furnished. We are happy to come back!

This is a brand-new place with everything one can wish for. Loved every minute there.
