We were received very friendly, everything was organized perfectly and friendly, although the current restrictions do not make it easy for the hotels. Large clean rooms with good facilities. Likewise, the bathroom, here enough possibilities to put something down or hang, well equipped.
Restaurant and bar with very good service, very friendly, fast and delicious food.
We feel comfortable here.

A great hotel with a beautiful location by the forest. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was always friendly, super helpful and very accommodating in all areas during the entire stay of 4 days. We arrived as a couple and booked a package with wellness and 2 menus in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered ample choice for me as a vegan. On request, spreads and pancakes/waffles were even served. However, there is a small point of criticism… unfortunately there was the same vegan food as a menu on both evenings. I would have liked an alternative, because the menu was really good, it is only a tiny criticism point. Despite the Corona editions, the stay was wonderfully relaxing and we certainly haven't been there for the last time!

Value for money very good. Service and spirit outstanding. Hotel owner with tips at the breakfast table, flexible staff (spontaneous rebooking due to children no problem), very clean, great swimming pool, free parking — all great.

We spent there as a family (2 adults + 2 children 2+4J. ) one night each on the outward and return journey to and from Denmark. We had a classic double room with an extra bed for the little one. The rooms were very clean, spacious and well equipped. The beds were really very comfortable, I haven't experienced that in a hotel! The breakfast buffet was unashamedly delicious :) Only recommended!

Stayed at this hotel last year and we just loved it. We got a beautiful room with AC. We used Bookings last year for the reservation and did it also this time with the same specifications. This time we got an apartment in a sidebuilding on the third floor without an elevator. The temperature in the room was over 30 degrees around 10.15 pm, when we arravied. There was no AC. I couldn´t stand straight in the shower due to the low ceiling. I am about 1.85 cm. They have reserved parking for the hotel but it was full when we came. Had to park 300 m away from the hotel. The things that was good was the breakfast, with excellent service, and the poool that our kids love. The summary of this experience is that we are not satisfied. We had been out on the roads in Europe for 2 weeks and stayed att bed and breakfasts and hotels. Birke was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed in but with the poorest quality when I came to the room. And this is a 4 star hotel?

The room with air conditioning was a boon, after the previous hot nights. The room was very clean, and of sufficient size. The breakfast, of the finest. I enjoyed the stay very much.

Beautiful rooms and well-equipped bathrooms, in the heat the air conditioning in the room was a real highlight. The food was as usual. Really good.
You could still work at the breakfast buffet, since I have already experienced much better. The selection for four stars S would simply have to be much larger.
Unsurpassed is the warmth and cheerfulness of the staff, which actually makes up for everything else.
I feel comfortable all around and I wasn't just here once. Thank you for everything.

Great place to stay. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, and a nice restaurant with generous servings of both good and local cuisine. The spa and wellness area is very nice and spacious. Good size pool with various installations, plenty of chairs to rest in around it. The sauna area is great with various offers from saunas, steambath, and rainshowers to an outdoor Kneipe. My significant other had a massage that she was extremely happy with. I would have given 5 stars if it had not been for one thing. The many children in the day spa, who, naturally, are very loud and playful. I do not in any way dislike children — I will have one myself very soon. But that is exactly why we chose this place: for a calm and relaxing break. That is unfortunately ruined quite a bit. Why people would bring children to a day spa hotel is beyond my comprehension. The area is full of signs saying "resting space — whispering only", but that is unfortunately not enforced by the otherwise great staff. And that is disappointing.

Nice hotel in a good location that is quiet but not too far from the motorway. Rooms are clean and comfortable with an OK selection at breakfast.

A bit far away from the center. For this, super many parking spaces outside the door very spacious and large. And one is relatively fast to the center point by car about 10 minutes. Very good rooms for events.

Unfortunately, you have to organize the return trip to the hotel itself. This is a bit difficult as a non-local (local expert). Also because the hotel is a bit away from the city centre.

Very friendly staff and stylish décor. What was missing were the little things: the somewhat built-up building, the waiter who did not know the open wines well and forgot the selected prompt, the open kitchen, which leaves both smells and noise in the dining room, the reception, which secured by telephone, would have free Choice for the time of the meal and on arrival it is different. The restaurant which insists that you bring the voucher for the food from the room. Everything is not a real problem, who does not notice it all the better. I noticed it, unfortunately…

Were at the first Christmas Day at the buffet in the Hotel birch.
As soon as we came in, we felt very comfortable thanks to the very charming staff.
The food was excellent.
I remember the light salad sauce small shortcoming in the cheese platter: would have been nice to declare the cheeses, or at least to mark goats and sheep cheese.
The service was very professional, not intrusive and extremely friendly.

We felt at home the moment we walked in through the front door. The level of service was outstanding, the rooms spacious, the food excellent, and the staff most accomodating.

Nice quiet area, weekend booked. Lack of parking at events in the hotel, but otherwise it is great here. Nice reception, brilliant breakfast with fresh cooked from the hotplate, pool with sauna really great. Pay attention to the SPA application, otherwise the pool is occupied. The rooms are clean, well equipped, kettle with coffee and samples. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about.

I slept better at the hotel Birch than at home! We felt very comfortable in this elegant and spacious room. Since we visited our daughter in Kiel, we did not take advantage of the hotel birch except the room, but it looked very inviting.

Seminar from Noon to evening: friendly staff, cuts and cakes fresh, good, punctual and enough for everyone. Drinks: Coffee machine, tea, o — and a-juice and water in good quality throughout. Rooms with pleasant climate and atmosphere. A pity that the use of the wellness area was not possible for me in time. He looks inviting.

Very nice room, clean, no noice, nice beds, and well functioning bathroom. The restaurant offers delicious meals, and the breakfest is excellent. Value for money.

We loved our stay at your hotel. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and we had a fantastic room which had recently been re-furbished. The bar service was excellent as was the food in the restaurant albeit the service could have been more attentive and speedier in the restaurant. Overall we would still give 5 stars and Claudia would receive employee of the month! We really enjoyed our pre-cruise stay at the Hotel Birke and we would have happily have stayed in your hotel for a few more nights.

The staff at the hotel knows how to make you feel comfortable and the facilitys are in great shape. Kindly and trustworthy staff. I'll definitely come back.

The reception on arrival was very friendly and obliging. A smooth very well!
The disillusionment followed in the room but then. Very small bathroom with the door not to open was, because even a second Chair in the anyway not much room had to stand at an angle.
The shower should even switch the head. That would make much easier the showers. The mattress, pillows and bed have also already some years under his belt. Conclusion: Located through! Facilities of the room but good and in sum therefore a sufficiently!
The breakfast was very good against and rich! For this, I give a good!
Although the room was already paid, there was an irritation. Organization therefore in my eyes just defective.

Criticism there is also and it quite clearly also at least a point deduction in the assessment:
We had booked the 'balance of the sea' and were on a relaxing program with sports and wellness set. Unfortunately, there was no containing the program YogaStunde and no alternatives to our disappointment. But worry it should follow Yes the dream trip. This however took place in a non-unified space in inappropriate atmosphere. The room much too big for two people, too loud, too bright through the glare of the Sun and the adjacent road. Relaxation not arose as unfortunately.
The GanzKörperAnwendung should do so again wet at the end. The application was also quite okay, it could something relaxed be :)
Suggestion: it should at the ZeitAngaben for the application isn't the way to the room in the annexe and back, as well as the subsequent "be awake", dress up and return will be charged, so that 80 or 45 min. At only 70 and 30 min. Stay late! That left one more small disappointment considering the price/performance ratio.
