Small hotel with tasteful well decorated and clean rooms located in Weimar‘s city center and friendly staff Invite to stay longer. A very rich breakfast (Menü based but served since correctly following COVID-19 instructions) make the excellence complete. High value for the price support the decision to come back!
One topic could be improved: The few 30min — parking slots in front of the hotel should be kept free for loading/unloading luggage and not used by Hotel staff.

We love this Hotel. Although we do not wegwohnen sooo far from Weimar, we like to come for a romantic weekend in your Hotel. We are completely satisfied and look forward, soon our 6. To celebrate the day of the wedding in the Hotel and Weimar. The rooms are beautiful, to recommend to the Service 1* and Breakfast only.

We usually stay at the Dorint when we visit our son in Weimar but stayed here the last 2 nights of the visit because the Dorint was completely booked. BAD DECISION! The walk-in shower flooded the bathroom and half the room. When I reported this to the woman at the reception desk she said that this happens a lot because the old pipes in the building cannot handle the volume of water and that we need to use a small amount of water. Were we told this at check-in? No! We had no internet access the entire time we were there. The woman at the desk falsely blamed this on a nation-wide problem with Vodophone service. Our son had no such problems with their Vodophone service. It was a hotel specific problem. We got one large, clunky key which was needed to lock and unlock the room from both inside and outside. In addition, the door into the facility is often locked, and the key is needed here. This poses a problem when more than one person is involved and one leaves the hotel and the other stays in the hotel, and there is no phone service. The reception desk is only intermittently staffed. There is no safe or refrigerator in the room. We have stayed in many traditional European hotels through the years and are accustomed to these minor limitations, but when they co-exist with major deficiencies they are oppressive. This hotel appears to try to impress by ornamentation (see the photo) rather than providing necessary, practical services. Our advice: Stay away from this place!

This hotel has had a lot of thought put into it. It's playful, colourful (! ), and comfortable.
The breakfast included in our tariff was excellent. The staff are helpful and very nice to the guests. The bed was very comfortable.
Our problem was with the location of our room, above the hotel's restaurant which was located directly below us. The tables on the street had many smokers, and the noise and smoke came directly into our room.
Normally, the double glazed windows could be closed and that would be that. However Weimar was having a hot spell, and like many German accomodations, there was no central fan or air con.
Luckily, the rain came the next day and so the next night there wasn't a problem.
(Btw, it seems Weimar might be quite expensive! )
