The huts are very nice. Small but finely furnished. Very cozy. The food at the restaurant Miningend is good. The breakfast buffet is plentiful with a good selection.

We had snow and unfortunately a lot of fog. We couldn't see much of the surroundings…
A reason to go again …

Super rustic earth house with heating and fireplace. Large bedroom with double bed and bunk bed. There is something for everyone at breakfast. Have eaten 2x in the restaurant Miningde, where also breakfast is served. I never ate so great for a long time. Unfortunately it stormed and rained every 3 days and we only noticed something from the car. In fine weather, however, there is much to do. Have visited museums, which are massive in the area and of course many glassblowers. Come back.

Cosy earth-houses with fireplace directly at the forest, lovingly furnished, great indoor climate, very clean. Very nice team, an excellent cuisine with fresh ingredients. A beautiful huge playground and the summer toboggan run just a few minutes walk, a great swimming pool is also nearby. This is a dream holiday for every age group.

Very high located. This provides excellent Views. Wonderful Playground for Children.

Very good Cuisine very nice Staff and the Earth Houses are very cozy. Worth a Trip with Children. The Adventure Park and the Summer Toboggan Run are also highly recommended.

Highly recommended in the Winter. Very helpful and nice staff. Beautiful resort, clean and the rooms perfect.

Beautiful idyllic place with eight huts in the "Hobbit — style" although not so propagated. Ideal for couples or family with young children, not suitable for self-catering. Numerous excursions with or without pets on foot, bike or even by car. Free parking, however, is no roofing or garage. Free Wi-Fi only in the main building.

We visited the floodplain in autumn and were thrilled. The earth houses are small, but offer everything you need to feel comfortable. They are very cozy and have been designed with great attention to detail. Early we woke up in the clouds, later we had a great view into the valley and in the evening partly wonderful sunsets.
There was something for everyone at breakfast. In the evening we enjoyed the delicious food in the mining end.
The Auenland offers n… very individual earth houses several playgrounds. Here the children can let off steam for hours. A little downhill is the summer toboggan run, which we have used extensively.
All in all we had a great 5 days in the floodplain and from there visited a lot of sights in the near and also distant surroundings.
Thank you to the whole team. We'll be back for sure.

It is a wonderful facility. The Hobbit caves are simply beautiful and very detailed in love. Beautiful wooden furniture adorns the cave, wooden doors and a fireplace complete the homely feeling. You feel very comfortable here, the staff is very friendly. Our needs and wishes have been met 100%. We were here with 2 small dogs and there were no problems, we were just as welcome, we other visitors. The food in the mining end is mega tasty and sufficient. And everything is self-cooked, nothing out of the bag or anything. The breakfast is also delicious, the choice is sufficient. More local products would be nice. We like to come back and look forward to beautiful changes What is worth mentioning is that you are right next to the forest.

Inspiration and at the same time, modern facility. Attentive, friendly and Helpful staff. The food in the attached Restaurant has, in my opinion, Sterneniveau. Only there is Wi-Fi, at least free of charge. Network reception one looks at the entire system in vain, what one or the other to the far right is likely to be. The Erdhäuser themselves are very clean, well thought out, there are alternatively, thicker Blankets in the bedroom closet, up to 6 people in a double bed, a bunk bed and a pull out Couch place to Sleep. In the bathroom there is a floor heating in the living room with a fireplace. The power is with a chip card at the entrance is activated. Conclusion: Highly recommended.
