Promenaden Hotel

Yes, there is free parking behind the hotel building. Some guests have noted that navigating to it can be somewhat tricky, as it requires taking quite a detour even after the navigation system indicates you have reached your destination.

Check-in and check-out are handled via a modern automated terminal (online check-in), which many guests find quick and convenient. However, some guests encountered technical glitches: one guest reported that during check-out, the system kept returning to the check-in screen, requiring assistance via the hotline. It is also noted that on-site staff presence can be arranged in advance for large groups.

Most guests describe the staff and owners as very friendly, polite, and helpful. In one instance, a team member assisted not only with check-in but also helped carry luggage. The staff responds quickly and professionally to reports of minor room maintenance issues. Nevertheless, one guest reported a very negative experience where the owner demanded €600 a week after departure for an allegedly damaged television, leading to an extended legal dispute.

The hotel provides breakfast, which guests describe as fresh, delicious, and fairly generous. Some visitors noted that it is not a full buffet, but rather a set selection prepared by a staff member at a scheduled time. One guest found it unusual that breakfast is prepared by a staff member who also performs housekeeping duties.

The rooms are modern, spacious, and very clean, matching the photos. Each room provides a complimentary kettle, a capsule coffee machine with pods, and bottled water. Modern TVs with wide content access are also installed. Among the downsides, some guests noted an absence of wall artwork, making the interior feel "drab," as well as a lack of shelves for toiletries in the bathroom. In one of the family rooms, guests complained of a strong, pungent varnish odor that persisted even after airing out the room.

Reports regarding the Wi-Fi are mixed: while most guests are satisfied with the modern amenities, one visitor reported that the Wi-Fi did not work in their room.

There is no elevator in the hotel. Guests are advised to take this into account when booking, especially if traveling with heavy luggage or with limited mobility.

Several guests reported issues with the key cards. In one instance, a card did not work upon returning to the room because the system registered it as "occupied" due to a second card left inside. Other guests noted that the card occasionally failed to unlock the door. Another issue mentioned was in a family room where only one key card was provided for three people, which also controlled the room's electrical power.
