We actually live just around the corner but we ate here for the last time years ago. The menu offers a good selection of local dishes. Many dishes with meat. It would be desirable to find some vegetarian dishes besides salad on the menu. The food was delicious. All 5 people were super satisfied. The service was very friendly and did their job really well.
In fine weather, sitting in the beer garden is very pleasant.
The restaurant can really be recommended.

We had rented a room there for a birthday. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. The food was super tasty, more than adequate and really great served.

The rooms are tidy and clean, just a little small. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast plentiful. Also in the evening you get something delicious to eat.

I was in the room 843/844. You come through the first door, then left a rather large bedroom, just out again and right the gemeimsame bathroom. It is easy to walk around the city from there. But there is no elevator, so it was said to run up to the last floor! There's a big minus point for that.

Nice hotel, looks very simple from the outside but is very good inside, simple, convenient furnished clean rooms.

The staff at the hotel at Gallows Mountain is great and the breakfast extensive. But that was also a positive aspect.
I had a single room whose bathroom was reminiscent of the one in a motorhome. Which would not bother me any further if it were clean, heated and quiet. Yes read correctly, in the "bathroom" there was no heating. Furthermore, it smelled uncomfortable mouldy in the "bathroom" and in the shower were hairs of no clue to whom. When I was showering at night, I had the feeling to wake the whole house, because the plastic from the formwork of the "bath" has all the extreme content.
The reception at the hotel has a purely decorative aspect, which I also confirmed to one of the staff. Everything you would like to be done in the restaurant.
Overall, everything is very frumpy. Which doesn't bother me as long as it's clean…
The staff is really great. I had the breakfast a bit overslept. (10.05 O'Clock I was there, it goes to 10) Anyway, I still got an egg cooked and the remaining stuff, were adequately available. Even cakes and sausages were offered.

The Hotel is in General very good, but the single rooms are very clairaudient. Wennman the neighbors on the Toulette hear is not pleasant, and certainly not if he still snores. You should come up with what times. The food here is very good. The staff very polite.

After Erfurt and Jena, we wanted our tour of Thuringia also briefly a Stop in the Otto-Dix-Gera loading. Why just today, I can say no more.
