Very nice suite, extremely tasty food, super sauna area.

Great hotel with very nice staff and well-kept, spacious rooms. Beautiful location in the middle of the Harz — from here numerous excursion destinations are very easy to reach.

We felt very comfortable in this hotel after exploring the many nooks and crannies. All staff are very helpful and try to do their best. The first days we had half board and then extended only with breakfast, both are highly recommended as Bad Lauterberg offers plenty of restaurants. Very quiet and centrally located, ideal for a relaxing holiday in the Harz.

Super hotel, with wellness. Food is first cream. Nice people.

Atmospheric but loveless!
The Hotel offers a covered Entrance with Short-term Parking, so that even in adverse weather conditions, the Loved ones can switch dry Foot directly from the Car to the Hotel. If booked or Availability is available, a Garage Parking Space is also possible. Otherwise, however, there are enough Parking Spaces to be found behind the Hotel. Entering the Hotel, one is greeted by the Charm of the Interior, which runs through all Rooms. White Wipe Walls in romantic Medieval Design, red Carpet, lots of Wood, especially on Walls and Cabinets and leather seating. In the Rooms, however, one notices clearly the Influence of the late 60s.
The Staff is partly very friendly, But unfortunately sometimes rather grumpy. Often the Eye for it lacks Detail. Examples include the lovelessly clapped Sausage — and Cheese Platters at Breakfast or an ever-drifable and thus to Flood leading water Dispensers in the Orangery. Steam Bath and 55°C Sauna were misadjusted, so you were cooked in both.
We couldn't test dinner as we hadn't booked Half board and weren't enough Cooks for ala Card guests right now.
Unfortunately, a clear Non-recommendation.

The 5 stars of this hotel are absolutely incomprehensible.
Realistic here would be only 2 stars.
Completely overpriced for lovelessly designed and simply furnished rooms.
The balconies are quite small and offer only one seat at a time, so you can't end the evening as a couple on the "terrace" declared on the internet.
Furthermore, the staff is not even motivated and tries to make a touch of a smile on the face. One is merely "served. "
And there we come to the topic of breakfast.
That buffet is simply medioker. And for a 5 star hotel not beginning to be satisfactory.
In addition, you have to point out to the staff that you have just taken a seat and want coffee, which you will then have to wait another 5 minutes for.
This hotel is definitely not recommended.

A very nice centrally located Hotel. But still quiet, directly at the Kurpark. Very good food. Right nimble operation, even if the house is well visited. Scores, compared to dissatisfied guests, there's always. For us the best choice in Bad Lauterberg.

We stayed in this hotel over the weekend to escape and relax from the big city everyday life.
Unfortunately, the beds and pillows are very uncomfortable, the staff is easily planned and have to make phone calls and consultation for simple questions.
Breakfast is very weak for a 5 star hotel …
Cutlery is not actively cleaned up!
The sauna area is only open until 20:00, which is more than a pity … Never again this hotel.

Rooms (Stübchen) very nice. Otherwise, there is a lack of control and leadership everywhere. A little bit of the years. With a little flair for service and design, you could easily tweak the resort. But the line was never visible.

Not the cheapest place to be but the great service at the bar and restaurant and the good food make up for it. Sauna area has seen better days and the gym is a joke. Wellness part seems OK massage was good but didn't try anything else there.

Goods from the 10.03.20127-12.03.2017 a guest in the Hotel. We have us felt very comfortable. The staff are attentive and very polite. The Breakfast 1A. Who mosert there, which is always, because I don't want to know what to eat for Breakfast, or have the every morning, sparkling wine for Breakfast! The rooms are clean and the beds good. The reception/Emgfang very friendly and occurring. There are and will remain 100%. Will definitely visit again the Hotel.

The best wellness area at the hotel.

Yes, I must, unfortunately, make only a mediocre rating of this hotel. Had to get a short Wellness trip there as a gift. Once there, room and treatments can be booked in the Spa area. There we were told then that absolutely nothing would be free and we can make in our days there, like the bathing and sauna area, n Pharaonenbad, but otherwise nothing. The next day we then used the area, the Badelandsch… the aft has its best times already behind itself. The blind window panes, rusty pool entry stairs, missing speaker covers directly on to the Pool and crumbling ceiling plaster (diameter about 40-80 cm) in the other pool area. Curious rum way, since everything in the Spa was fully booked the area, as we were told, ran the staff (all super friendly) in a Tour, just because all the massage rooms were dark, and thus, in our opinion, not used. In addition, a note on the current write-off of the Spa services on the home page would have been useful, then you would not have been so disappointed on arrival. The Breakfast was nice, but we have had up here on the coast in Hotels without a star is much better. The rooms themselves were okay. In the bathroom however, the tiles were the grout in the shower area black, also the seal on the shower screen was black and you could see by the bathroom exactly where the cleaning was more difficult. All in all we would not visit this Hotel definitely in the current state.

Hotel is nice and clean, but service is horrible — half hour waiting time for drink in almost empty bar is unacceptable.

Very nice place. Wi-Fi in most of rooms.
