Simply perfect around everything. Great ambience. Super nice staff. Spacious underground car park. A breakfast that is unbeatable. That was two days of pure relaxation!

A cozy, beautiful hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The kitchen is recommended. Hit the whole of the wellness area on the top floor, with a breathtaking view of the Elbe.
Conclusion, any time again.

A super nice and highly recommended hotel. Excellent staff great rooms and a great meal. Always happy… was here for the third time in a row… Perfect! always happy… I will be back.

Unfortunately, our stay at the Hotel Elbresidenz at the Thermal Spa Bad Schandau was not in line with the expectation of a 5-star hotel.
In particular, the following points did not vote:
1) no hospitable dog regulation:
Dogs are allowed (! ), but a cleaning fee of €35, — is charged per day. In national and international comparison, this has never happened to us anywhere. A reasonable daily flat rate (e. G. € 10) or a final cleaning fee of approx. 30€ would be common. However, it is pointed out in this hotel that the €35 daily only covers a fraction of the actual cleaning costs. How can this be if neither dog ape or the like is cleaned daily, nor normal dirt such as cobwebs in the room is removed? What should this alleged special cleaning for dogs (daily! ) look like? The reality is that the room is cleaned normally regardless of whether with or without a dog and dog owners are asked to pay.
2) Lack of attention from staff:
Whether you are waiting at the reception, sitting in the restaurant or otherwise need ingesrated help. No one comes up with the idea of asking guests about their needs. Almost all employees look away consciously or unconsciously and have no need to make the day of their guests and thus also their own a good day. Every demand appears annoying (special requests in the restaurant, requests for massages in the SPA, etc. ) and is swarmed or costs extra.

Very relaxed and friendly staff. Breakfast great, food and drinks in the restaurant or on the terrace very good. Would I go back at any time. Thank you for the pleasant stay during the Corona crisis.

Good food, rich breakfast, friendly staff. Class pool on the 4th floor and free entrance to the thermal spa right outside the door.

Great View and good food and because of this a little pricey.

Unfortunately, there are only two stars of us. The food was salted, the menu offers a small selection of dishes and at high prices. The beef fillet tasted like liver and the pork fillet was very salty. The waiter did not respond to our complaint. With 5 stars and this high price range you should really expect more. You eat better in every doner stall!

I can't judge because we've been sitting on the terrace forever and have been punished for not being obhespered. Very unfriendly to apparently not matching the picture guests. In doing so, we have behaved in a civilised way. And were also dressed neatly.

Unfortunately all in all pretty disappointing and dissatisfing: First, the room: I had a single room, size was OK, the little terrace was nice, and the pink colour plate too, but generally a very conservative design, a bit like what your aunt would think is tasteful. Problems: the window to atrium was supposed to be quiet, but there's a generator or something that goes on fir a while every once in a while in. A high frequency, all night long too… closing all windows was not an option with the heat. Second, breakfast: a vast selection indeed, but of products in medium quality… f. E the scrambled eggs (very watery). Service at breakfast was very friendly though. Restaurant: the meal I had at the restaurant was nice, and price was slightly too high, but acceptable. Service by the main waiter wasn't that friendly, but his helpers were fine. The meal ordered at the SPA though was way too expensive (same kitchen) and not to the standard expected. Not recommended SPA: this is the highlight of the hotel — great indoors SPA with lovely terrace.

We wanted to Eat on the Terrace at about 7Pm last Night. Super Weather, wonderful Evening. The front Terrace to The Elbe has been closed! The rear Terrace, not really nice, was full respectively. Half with Reservation signs. At that Moment alone, 3 or 4 Couples were also facing the Problem. We counted 5 Employees, 2 of whom cleaned up the Bar of the closed Terrace in Peace of mind. Whatever 2 People were doing there.
This is not possible at all on such an Evening and in such a Hotel.
We were then in the Brick Barn in Cribs. 2 Controls, the Terrace much fuller than in the Hotel, super nice, normal Waiting Time and great Food.
The Elbresidenz should learn from those, until then you can not recommend this Hotel.

Very nice hotel with great views, but the food is much better in the evening than at lunchtime. The hotel is relatively large, which brings variety, but also long distances. The terrace is very nice and large enough.

Great hotel in the middle, a chic room overlooking Elbu! Very helpful staff. Champagne is served at breakfast.

A lovely hotel, no doubt. Nice and professional staff, a wonderful location, super facilities, the rooms are very cozy and modern furnished. Wellness and Spa area in the house. And who may even go to the spa next door, for Lau. The breakfast is really very good. A very large buffet with a variety of choices, for everyone. Earned five stars.

Top Lage; Freundlicher Empfang; Frühstück Spitzenklasse, großes Zimmer mit zu kleinem Fernseher; großes Schwimmbecken; zu wenig Liegen. Zimmer zur Straßenseite extrem laut. Ab 06.30 Uhr ständig Motorengeräusche und Türenknallen von Kunden der gegenüberliegenden Bäckerei. Straße sehr stark befahren. Dauerstau direkt vor dem Hotel.

For a five star hotel I lack the certain something here. Friendliness and service are okay, but with the warmth and coziness it is not so well ordered. It's the details that don't match here. Empty boxes and towels in the bathroom. The repeated requests must be in case of problems. But overall a chic hotel with a fireplace in the lobby and a bar with really good cocktails.

We were for a Wellness weekend in Bad Schandau, and were all around satisfied of the Hotel. The rooms are clean and
Spacious. The staff was always friendly and always responsive. The Breakfast was very rich, and has changed daily, very tasty! The dinner was Breakfast. We can recommend the Hotel only further, and come back for more!

In itself a nice hotel. The prices are a bit higher according to the 5 star category. Our expectations were not entirely fulfilled. In the room there were two spider weaves. That must not be the fact. Breakfast is quite crowded. The size of the hotel is only noticeable. Otherwise it is quite quiet. Included in the room rate is the visit to the spa. This is about 300m away from the hotel. The staff in general were friendly and accommodating.

Saxon friendliness at its finest. The days in your house will remain in our memory for a long time. From early till late we were taken care of princely. New Year's Eve celebration was an absolute Highligth. We definitely recommend your hotel and will come back 100%. Thanks to your whole team.

Great hotel, very friendly staff. Breakfast at its finest. The only thing to complain about is the too high parking fees for the underground car park.

The reception at Check in was the cream of the crop, and it has answered every question friendly and accommodating. The room was very large, clean, with a balcony and everything you need. The Spa next door is highly recommended but, unfortunately, you may not clean at the departure day free of charge. At Breakfast there was a great selection. We would make again vacation here.

Very nice hotel… complete breakfast, friendly staff and super clean. Bad things (that maybe are ok in another hotel but not in a 5 stars) only in the reception the pleople speak English and the Wi-Fi doesn't work. By the way… the art on the walls is really ugly.

Very nice and modern Hotel. In order to have a nice room you should invest a little more money and getting the Deluxe book. The Breakfast buffet is a dream, the half-Board dinner in the evening is also very tasty.

Very nice hotel. Lovely location on the Elbe, right next to the ferry and therme. Room was nice. Spa and fitness center was excellent. Free access to Toskana Therme was great. Very good breakfast.

A star for the delicious breakfast and a star for location and one for the sauna which is really nice (there were few guests on site and therefore it was very empty).
What is not at all: the food is too expensive, the beds are well located and too small. As a couple we had two mattresses with a big gap. Is OK and I had already in other hotels… but I wish different.
The staff in the restaurant is overwhelmed, too much staff available but no real overview. We were on the second night where food was different after we were very disappointed by the prices and the quality (and lighting).
What is OK: the size of the room. The people tried at the reception.

Wonderful place with great staff and surroundings. However, internet connection is horrible and there are extra charges for many things. Can be 3 or 5 stars depending on your preferences.

Very nice and clean hotel. Don't eat so special. Good breakfast. You will not be treated as a guest booked directly at the hotel.

Breakfast and in-house spa was nice, the staff was friendly and trying to resolve issues. But I've had better food and more professional staff in four star hotels — and honestly, I fail to see how this one got their five. Horrible beds gave us aching backs even after we got replacement mattresses, and if you're traveling with your partner, don't expect a chance to cuddle up: Their queen size beds are but two singles, joint without a bridge.

Very snazzy rooms. Lots of amenities like breakfast, pools, spa. If you can get a good deal on the room, definitely worth it!
