Hotel GARNI Residenz Am Markt Meißen Hotel

A beautiful, stylish, small hotel with beautiful, in size, very clean rooms.
We had one on the side of the road, opposite the Frauenkirche. With the window closed, you can hear the noise of the people passing by below, sometimes drunk people don't. Hitting the bells of the Frauenkirche didn't bother us, as the sound is very beautiful and bright.
A small, illuminated showroom of a tiny kitchen from ancient times, behind glass, enriched our room very much The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is sufficient and replenished at any time. The small café is inviting with tasteful cakes. In fine weather, tables are available in front of the house.
We stayed here for two nights in May and really enjoyed our time here and in the nice eateries and sights of the city. There were few tourists on the way. Maybe also because of Mother's Day, which was this weekend.

Were today with 5 people spontaneously breakfast here. Very nice and friendly service, which we did not find very often in Meissen! Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Meißen is a cosy little town just like the hotel residence on the market.
The stay was pleasant. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only pity that the small bar in the foyer had not opened for a small evening drink.
We can recommend the hotel and on a next visit to the city it can be a starting point again.

Hotel without stars, but the service at the highest level, room for every taste and price, and size. Seasonal discounts. At the hotel's large coffee shop with an adequate selection of cakes and till 12.00 is possible without reservation to the Breakfast buffet for 11€

Hotel located right on the market square in Meissen in the old town. Staff very friendly. Large and very comfortably equipped rooms. For breakfast a reichhaliges offer at the buffet only parking at the hotel is not possible and for parking further removed fees are due.

Nice little café with possibility for breakfast (reservation requested) otherwise there are fresh cakes, small meals. Nice atmosphere.

The room was clean and roomy, especially the bathroom. The location is excellent. The beds were too hard for my taste.

The city of Meißen was wonderful — picturesque and peaceful. And the Hotel Residenz am Markt was in the perfect location next to the Frauenkirche with its porcelain bells. Friendly service, clean and pretty room, comfortable bed, large bathroom. Nice breakfast buffet, good coffee and a nice Café as well. Highly recommended!

We were here today for brunch. Although it should actually go up to 11: 00, there was 9:30 not scrambled eggs, sausage or ham. Fruit seems not to exist at all. There were still 4 dark rolls around. Even the plates were all and reacted somewhat annoyed wondering where we would find new because the waitress. Actually, I drink my coffee black, but one could enjoy this dark broth with much cream. In sum, very disappointing, because I would have expected more.

Our rooms and the bathroom are comparatively large and beautifully furnished according to the ambience of Meißner. The location is central and an ideal starting point for trips, walks or simply a cosy coffee visit. The hotel rent parking spaces, which can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive and also the breakfast was good especially the sandwiches and coffee. We had 3 beautiful and relaxing days in Meißen.

The Hotel is located directly in the city centre. The reception was very friendly, the entire staff very nice. The rooms are beautiful and functional set up the plumbing clear and clean. The Hotel exudes a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. It is overall a recommended place to Stay for a short or extended holiday.
